'They talk about me like a DOG?'

Obama said "They (that'd be Republicans, those 'special interests' he alludes to) "talk about me like a dog.." Have you ever heard that expression? EVER?

Odd phrase, isn't it? And, what a victim this poor man regards himself as, "...they're not always happy with me!" What president says that? I guess it's the same kind of president who criticizes and insults the past president while he's in office....a first in American history instigated by Mr. Obama. I saw Clinton horribly insult George Bush but at least Clinton wasn't president anymore and was speaking to the Labor Party convention in London when I saw him live on TV from Paris when I lived there. I was cringing, so was Tony Blair who sat behind him on the dais, by the way, but at least he wasn't saying this to American audiences.
Obama tells his audience he wants workers to thrive, yet all he can do is tax more and more.......Let's just hope the goodies he's starting to talk about because the November election's coming up aren't rescinded the minute it's over. Obama voters will be thunking themselves on the head saying "Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on ME"
Like a DOG? I treat my pets fairly well, don't you? Who considers talking about dogs a bad thing?

I've had many dogs throughout my life, and I loved most of them. (Brownie, not so much.)

Whenever people talk about their dogs, it is in kind, gentle terms. Maybe the president is mistaken? Hummmm???????????? Maybe he thinks we (the collective 'we') are talking about skunks?

We don't talk about him like a dog. We talk about him to our dogs.

I hope he keeps this kind of talk going... it makes him look really like he;s really cracking up.

Joe, you are too good! Have you seen the other one where a dog's being given little treats and when she says OBAMA, he turns his face from her and scowls? :-)

Linda...just seems odd that somebody'd use that expression as a negative, doesn't it!
"Treated me like a dog" is usually negative (tho people treat their dogs nicer than other people oftentimes!) but.......

What really hit me is his victimhood...poor Obama...president of the US and everybody's supposed to keep up the campaign cheers. As IF

Malcontent, good point. My GOSH, after the horrid treatment Bush got, THIS guy's feeling the victim? WOW

Jimi Hendrix used the lyric "they talk about me like a dog" on the song "Stone Free."

Re Clinton's comments, it seems doing it over seas to a foreign audiance would make it worse. That he wasn't a sitting president makes it somewhat better--doesn't come across as much as trying to shirk responsibility.

Is he kidding? I wouldn't dream of insulting our dog by comparing him to Obama!!

We know what this President thinks about dogs. He has his dog flown on a separate plane. No dogs allowed on Air Force one, if you please.

Does this President have a clue, as to how immature he sounds?

Then he tops it off with more lies, telling us he's helping the middle class? I gave up fairy tales when I was a kid. Of course when the President's just a kid, what can we expect?

Here's this clown conning the chumps and dopes into believing he passed "tough" financial reform.

Man this guy is good. State capitalism couldn't have asked for anything more.

Beats talking about your dog like an Obama.

To talk about Obama like he's a DOG is an INSULT to canines.

tio, it takes more courage to do something that unclassy abroad; he knew our media wouldn't get wind, or at least 'normal people' wouldn't get wind of it. And they didn't. I did only because I always hungered for anything on TV that was in English and, of course, I was interested in hearing what Clinton had to say to the Brits.
I meant it about Blair cringing...he looked white as a sheet and highly embarrassed. What CLinton was mostly doing was patting himself on the back for what he'd done and berating Bush for anything he'd done that UNDID what Clinton thought was great work on his own part.

Anon...NO dog deserves that ! :-)

I know, we're being very disrespectful toward Obama here, but I"m thinking about how disrespectful he's been to all of us thinking that we don't get what he's trying to do, that we need to suck up all the Jeremiah White/Bill Ayers nonsense, we're supposed to really believe that "your insurance doesn't have to change" (that's a 'favorite' of mine since it's so blatant a lie), the spending he and his wife have done in the midst of such joblessness, etc etc, I guess that, some day, we'll be almost even?

I had in mind when the Dixie Chicks were denouncing Bush in England. Hanity made a big deal about it being on foreign soil.

Like the Charlie Daniels lyric, "we may have done a little bit o' fightin' amongst ourselves, but you outsiders had best leave us alone."

I have dogs. My dogs are my personal friends. Barack Obama is no dog. In fact, my dogs are offended that he would say such a thing. Oops ... Moslems don't like dogs. Okay, now I get it.

The time for being nice and respecting decorum has passed. It has served no useful function. Even the inherent premise of this overwrought courtesy, the ridiculous assertion that leftists actually do possess the capacity for rational thought which must be respected regardless of disagreement, serves no discernable purpose.

Let the facts be stated. The one trait all leftists share is impenetrable stupidity. There is not, nor was there ever, nor will there ever be a leftist who's thinking can escape categorization as imbecilic.

Take our resident sub-moron Ducky, for example. Here's a certifiable twit who says of his fellow imbecilic leftist Barack Obama:

"Here's this clown conning the chumps and dopes into believing he passed "tough" financial reform.

Man this guy is good. State capitalism couldn't have asked for anything more."

This would be the "state capitalism" of a government going into debt expanding the socialist agenda while it's unionized employees push for higher taxation on Americans.

Now, we can probably dismiss this ponderous construction as a leftist's predictable lack of reading comprehension skills, Ducky not exactly knowing what capitalism" means, but then we're faced with Ducky's noted leftism and its own stated anti-capitalist goals, as articulated by such vocal advocates of leftism as the murderous Mao Tse-tung or even infamous left-wing German labor activist Adolf Hitler. Ducky's favored class, the "unionized labor movement" largely is the government these days. We're death camps and gulags away from a left-wing paradise.

But again, this unjustly assumes Ducky can find his way to a coherent thought any more than any other stupid leftist (forgive the redundancy) could.

Don't be hesistant to call the stupid what it is. For too long, we didn't, and it thinks itself wise now.

I love doggie videos on You Tube. I can't stand watching Obama. So I really don't know what he is talking about.

don't insult the dogs mr. ___ --I can't write President in that spot today --sorry--

tio, I'm not saying it's bad; who likes to have your country insulted by your countrymen in a foreign country?
But, it's a chicken's way to do, far away. Typical.

Mustang, NOW you've got it! :-)

He surely acts like a petulant...mutt-lim.
Always pissing up the wrong tree too.

Gah! I can hardly stand to watch or listen to BHO.

Anyway, I managed to watch and listen.

My thought: BHO is pandering to the crowd. He's craving their approval and wants to ramp them up even more. He's ever in some kind of campaign mode. I'm sick of it, sick of it, sick of it.

I would think he should be so lucky.

You are right though Z, it's a victim mentality.

BTW, you beat me to it, I was working on a post for this. I'm still going to do it, I was going from a different angle.

I'm sure there's plenty of tough "oversight of Wall Street" in this Goldman-Sachs administration.

Speaking of Wall Street, isn't that in New York City, a Democrat Party dominated place? Are the only Republicans in NYC stock brokers?

tha malcontent said...

Are the brain-dead voters, especially the first time voters who supported the Obamanation disenchanted, disappointed and fed-up with Obama and his false and phony promises yet?
How much more are we expected to take?

Victimhood, that's all those coward leftists understand. That's why they worsen civilizations. They lack courage, principles and ethics. He's one of them.

It was a poor choice of words (hmmm, do I detect a pattern when the teleprompter script isn't followed?) and I think BO will regret having said them.

Whew, the DNC pulled this out of covered for the slightly islamic reference! Good going, DNC

Always knew he had glass jaw and was a deeply insecure and precious man. A true leftist obongo, happy to dish it out to all and sundry but cannot take an ounce of it coming back at him.

Presidents are expected to be in the spot light and under heavy criticism, Bush took a lot more heat than barry, but then obongo isn't half the man Bush is.
