Clinton...absolutely unreal

DALE CITY, Va. (AP) — Conservative ideologues are reliable voters who could threaten Democrat Terry McAuliffe's political chances, former President Bill Clinton warned Sunday as he joined his longtime buddy's campaign for Virginia governor.
With little more than a week before Nov. 5's Election Day, McAuliffe and Republican Ken Cuccinelli each have sought to energize their strongest supporters. McAuliffe has opened a lead in polling and is heavily outspending Cuccinelli on television ads, but turnout is expected to be low and the result could be decided by a few thousand votes. es
Former President Bill Clinton campaigns for Democratic …"Political extremism does have one political virtue," Clinton said. "Once you get people all torn up and upset, steam coming out of their ears, people will show up and vote."
It was a shift in roles. For decades, it has been McAuliffe championing the personal and political futures of Bill Clinton and, later, his wife, Hillary Rodham Clinton. Now, he's here to pitch in during the campaign against Republican Ken Cuccinelli during its final week even though Clinton joked he is "in my dotage."
"Terry's gotten so good on the stump, I don't think he needs me anymore," Clinton said to laughter at the pair's first stop.
Clinton planned other stops throughout the state with his longtime pal and fundraiser during the coming day. Former first lady Hillary Rodham Clinton, who is considered a strong contender for 2016's presidential nomination, used her first political event after stepping down as secretary of state to endorse McAuliffe earlier this month.
Bill Clinton predicted that Cuccinelli's supporters, who are deeply conservative and align to the tea party, would be reliable, and he urged Democrats to be just as motivated.  (Z:  I giggle every time I hear 'tea party' again lately;  you all know very well that the tea parties were totally out of the news until this healthcare problem was coming to light and, suddenly, everybody was an extremist TEA PARTY MEMBER, remember?  Another White House 'memo' all the lefties began using...)
"Just remember, the people who aren't here today, who go to the other fella's rally, they will be there on Election Day," he said. "I've dealt with it all my life."
Cuccinelli's campaign sought to turn Clinton's star power among Democrats into another way to build enthusiasm among his conservative supporters. Even before the pair arrived at the veterans' hall here in northern Virginia, Cuccinelli's campaign had already sent reporters a memo recounting the years of Clinton-McAuliffe collaboration for Democrats......
You can read the rest HERE if you've got the stomach to.....and here we keep getting told it's the Left that's so open minded.................my GOSH.

Are YOU an extremist or do you just disagree with the Democrats?  Why is that not okay?

I probably am an extremist. I want to see the current duopoly utterly dismantled. I disagree with nearly everything the Democrats proffer, and a great deal of what the GOP does. I don't really see a difference in the boilerplate rhetoric from either side. Each thinks the other are fringe extremists; each places themselves closer to the center on the imaginary linear political scale, and their opposition on the farthest end.

Living in Virginia, I'm quite anxious for the election to get here, so that we can stop being inundated with the error-ridden bluster from both crappy candidates.

"Extremist" is one of the most often used buzz words today.

ObamaCare is like the early stages of communism.

Bill Clinton is running interference for President Obama and laying the groundwork for Hillary’s 2016 presidential bid. Here’s what he said about the future of the response of Americans to ObamaCare:
“I just think that when all these dire predictions don’t come out, if they don’t — I believe that pretty soon, within the next several years, this will be like Medicare and Medicaid. And it’ll be a normal part of our life. And people will be glad it’s there.”
I’m sure every political tyrant said something similar. I can hear Fidel Castro, Hugo Chavez, and Vladimir Lenin telling their people. “In time you’ll learn to love Communism.”

In 2010, Obama endorsed the Dem gubernatorial candidate. The election was a sweep for the GOP -- very rare here in the Commonwealth of Virginia because candidates of each party run on a ticket that separates them. One can vote for a Dem governor and a GOP lieutenant governor.

If Cuccinelli isn't extreme then the word has absolutely no useful meaning.

The only thing wrong with being an extremist is that you disagree mightily with the fellow whose ideas you find extreme. It is easy to label people are extremists. You just have to say, for example, “If Cuccinelli isn't extreme then the word has absolutely no useful meaning,” and poof … he’s extreme. Of course, it is a bit more difficult to break it down and explain how Cuccinelli is any more (or less) extreme in his ideas than his opponent, a life-long foreign agent … but that’s politics. Name-calling, or labeling is about as useful to society as a politician’s promises. Still, one has to admit that calling people “extremist,” while rudimentary, is efficient. It allows one to quickly achieve their goal and then move on to another blog, where the cycle is repeated. I think they call this “think progress.”

I honestly cant stomach that immoral slime at all Z..what a joke hearing him lecture us! Have a great day despite it all my friend!:)

Sam...that's the whole ball of wax.
Calling people EXTREMISTS and the other rhetoric from the left (which I honestly didn't expect from Bill CLinton QUITE so blatantly and so ridiculously) is very effective.
And they demonized the term Tea Party, played with the name to further insult, and set it all up so that next time a Conservative seemed to be making points, they could drag out the term and malign the point and him/her.

Always...I haven't heard that word used toward Dems by Reps...not sure the rhetoric's ever been quite this awful.

of course, the left will Google and find SOMETHING, but the regular basis on which Obama slams FOX, Senators, Congressmen, etc., is new....and the terms other lefties use are horrific when we consider that half of America feels like each side...not a good idea, but VERY effective to leftists and those who don't bother to think this through.

Notice that while Ducky condemns capitalism, and as he seeks to shield Michelle and Barack Obama from the marque ‘communist,’ it not seem to bother him that classmate to Michelle Obama Toni Townes-Whitley (Class of 85) was awarded a no-bid contract to build the amazingly inefficient HealthCare.gov website.

Personally, I suspect a little money fo'’ da sista, but I realize such a thing couldn’t be proved in million years: look who’s in charge of the Justice Department.

By the way, does anyone besides me notice a trend here? Affordable Care Act that isn’t affordable, and Justice Department where there is no justice?

As Ducky defends the right of Muslims to kill Christians and Jews with impunity, it must not matter to him at all that both Michelle Obama and Toni Townes-Whitley were members of the Organization for Black Unity (can you even imagine an organization for White Unity?) when it supported the Palestine Liberation Front, a designated terrorist organization.

But upon reflection, Ducky is probably right: Michelle and Barack are wonderful Americans with absolutely pristine records of service to America. Well, black America, anyway. No extremists they...

From Z OF GEEEZ:

Ducky, I've never heard a sitting president slam a network often, or ever, that just didn't agree with him. Have you? Let's hear it.

And, obviously, it's a little different for bloggers (tho you will NEVER read a post here that calls Obama any of what you've written, of course) than for presidents, press secretaries, senators...

I've never heard a Republican wish a Democrat senator was dead, or hope that a Republican with a heart problem dies...

no, Ducky, on this one you're off base again; this rhetoric, particularly Clinton's in my post, is what the normal person would call "extremist".

Not sure I want Liberalmann's comment here at GeeeeZ. Since people responded to him, I'll let it got but this is truly DISGUSTING.
And I'd even go so far as to say he doesn't represent all libs in his extremism.

Until B.O. came along I thought that Clinton was the poorest excuse for a man to ever disgrace the White House.

Ducky's here said...

Well, Sinclair, let me say this about Michelle's classmate.

1. The women was several years behind her and there's no indication they were close.

2. The problem is twofold:

a. The contracting process is rigged in favor of a small number of large companies and this has been a problem for many decades.
b. Folks like yourself who ant us to focus on Obama hate rather than managing the least bit of a clue to the structural problems we face.

Dave Miller said...

Z, regarding presidents slamming the media, maybe Nixon and Agnew fit that category.

Everyone of the major networks was on the enemies list.

I suppose we could banter back and forth about the substance of The Daily Caller, but you cannot observe this picture and tell me with a straight face that there was no relationship between Michelle Obama and Toni Townes-Whitley. Well, wait a minute. Yes, you could make that argument, but no sensible person would even try. Ducky, I wonder if you realize how dishonest you are…

The Extremists Creed

I realize that I cannot overcome my extremism by myself. I will need the help of my family and tens of thousands of progressives to help me overcome my disability, a government that will pay me a stipend, and enter my name into a data base called Obama Care.

Because of the presence of the Messiah in the White House, I will set aside five periods each day where I can pray toward Mecca and ask for strength, forgiveness of any extremist thoughts, and also some C-4 composite explosives, if there is any.

I recognize my need for progressive fellowship and will, therefore, have same sex relationships with as many of my brothers as possible so that one day, I might achieve enlightenment and admission to the Obama White House. I vow to keep active in the service of absurdity and burn my Bible at the first opportunity. But I’ll just hold on to my AK-47 for now.

I promise to increase my daily consumption of Kool-Aid, subscribe to newsletters and other email from Move-On.org, and work hard to memorize all the leftist talking points so that I will have a good time when attending elite cocktail parties inside the nation’s capital.

I know that I can do this because I have viewed Obama Rap videos and these make me feel really good about myself and this shit hole we call a country. Allah Akbar!

Forever yours, Bob

Dave, no, absolutely not. Did you hear Nixon slam ABC CBS NBC? Insulting the newscasters, calling them "not the real news?" No, he didn't like any of them for the treatment he got even before Watergate, but noooo....not like this president or Reid, Pelosi, etc. Never.

I'm not sure what THE LIST meant to anybody, but I doubt anybody was threatened or hurt by it. What's happening on the news now by Obama and others is far beyond that.

Ducky...I tend to agree with you on this. Michelle DID get groups in which are offensive, but it's a college and they can hear. She did bring in a guy who thought terror was okay to use against Jews, which I'm sure you're totally for, but mostly, this isn't much of a story in my opinion.

What you seem NOT to understand is that trying to get Obama to back down from the damage he's doing ...

Sure, it's probably fine for Reid and Pelosi and Boxer and Obama and others to call us the hellacious names they come up with, so humor us with a little Obama disgruntlement, huh?
Thanks.

Really Z? A specific operation run from the White House using the resources of the the US government to systematically attack and discredit US journalists?

Newsmen were wiretapped, audited by the IRS and intimidated at a level that dwarfs what is happening today.

I am not going to defend Obama on this. His treatment of the media, both from the right and the left has been abysmal. But for anyone to think this is the first time it has happened, and to think there was no negative impact on the press during the Nixon years is just wrong.

Maybe Nixon did not publicly slam a network, bit he worked plenty hard behind the scenes to discredit and intimidate them.

And while Agnew may not have named a specific network, he's pretty famous for his public comments slamming the media for simply doing their job...

If this is in reference to the internet bid scandal it's just wrong. They both graduated from Princeton in the Class Of 1985. But then when have Liberals ever been hobbled by the truth? The featured scum-bag in today's post, Bill Clinton, is a grand example as is our current Liar-in-Chief. Liberals just love to lie to each other and they expect the rest of us to go along with them. NUTS to that!

Ed...you know, I'm hearing reaction by the left of this website mess and they don't really apologize. It's VERY VERY clever. The woman who was questioned today apologized?

Here goes:
— Her apology: "We know that consumers are eager to purchase this coverage, and to the millions of Americans who've attempted to use HealthCare.gov to shop and enroll in health care coverage, I want to apologize to you that the website has not worked as well as it should."

— Her promise, Part I: "We know how desperately you need affordable coverage. I want to assure you that HealthCare.gov can and will be fixed, and we are working around the clock to deliver the shopping experience that you deserve."

Those apologies were ads for Obama care...cracked me up.

"that you deserve" AAAH....so cute.

Tomorrow should be interesting.
