The Media's busy for November...campaigning for the Left (again)

OOOH, could it be true?.....Republicans in Montana : KEEP HOMOSEXUALITY ILLEGAL (Associated Press, YAHOO headline on their homepage for ALL TO SEE!) Read this whole article, it's not long, and tell me if that title fits.......
The story is about a bunch of Montana Republican politicians who do NOT think any homosexuals should be arrested so homosexuality should surely not be illegal, but the headline sure tells another story.......from the story:
"Nobody has ever taken the initiative to change it (the platform point) and so it's remained in the party platform, Greenwood said. The matter has never even come up for discussion, he said."

Take a look and see what you think.......It sounds to me this situation is rather like the sodomy laws or even some laws banning certain other kinds of sex between husbands/wives which some states
still have on their books, (laws people haven't done over because NOBODY ENFORCES THEM anyway), have been forgotten in the complexities of other, more pertinent situations. To suggest, as AP did in the HEADLINE and the linked article, that ANY Republican wants homosexuality to remain ILLEGAL is dishonest and just plain STUPID. (Hey, I just defined the media.)
Oh, and I'll bet the media will find a few other states with Republicans sounding like gay-hating thugs....wait for it.
It's ONLY just begun.........what else do you think they'll come up with before November?

This looks to me to be one of those things that's just never been dealt with. A platform position is of course not a law.

Perhaps rather than call attention to it by removing it, they just decided to ignore it or didn't know about it.

They'll remove it now I'll bet. If this is the best the media can do, checking out state party platforms, well whoop de doo!

Anything except reporting on the administration and what a dismal, incompetent failure they are, or wasting their time on personal smears and trying to create scandals about conservatives.

It would be nice if they'd check out what all is in the healthcare bill, the cap and tax bill, the new financial rules, and whatever else is passed that we don't know about, and report on those.

But, some obscure state party platform, that the party faithful didn't even know about, they're right on top of. That warrants a big headline.

That's our media folks, they're here to serve! Yeah, right.

The "nut-roots" of the DNC who fired up the voters to vote-out Bush in 2006/8 were primarily homosexuals, Hormel's "Knights of Spamalot."

The "fire and brimstone" wing of the DNC LOVES sodomy.

President Obama’s political advisers, looking for ways to help Democrats and alter the course of the midterm elections in the final weeks, are considering a national advertising campaign that would cast the Republican Party as all but taken over by Tea Party extremists, people involved in the discussion said.

This phony Montana RNC red herring is an openning salvo in the DNC getting the hardcore-Left base riled up and engaged before November.

Nothing motivates a homo like heterophobia.

The mainstream media hasn't been doing it's job as news reporting agencies. They have been more in the newsmaking business. Unfortunately they are a wing of the left. They went wayward like Snopes and have lost their credibility except with the left who wallow in their distorted mire.

Wonder what's taken them so long?
Now that they are aware f their own platform, I'm sure it will be removed.

But there certainly were quite a few bellowing like wounded bulls about "activist judges" and "the homosexual agenda" right along with "Tough Tony" Scalia when the court struck down the Texas sodomy law.

That's probably all that keeps Montana from enacting its own.

The leftists don't understand something: priorities. The American people doesn't give a damn about those things and what O'Donnell did in highschool. They care about their pockets, jobs and the economy.

Bunch of kids running things.

Ducky's here said...

Have Sarah and Christine been polled on this question?

FrogBurger said...

Hey Ducky, look in your own backyard and the Catholic church, too.

Ducky, there's a lot of room between illegal homosexuality and guaranteeing that two men can marry each other.
Palin and O'Donnell answers will only be publicized by your media if they say something that makes them sound like they hate anyone..stay tuned.

FB, Bill Maher has an October Surprise for O'Donnell that's just about (almost, but not QUITE) as low as he has become (I used to be a fan)....
she was on his show years ago admitting she dabbled with witchcraft... I have a neighbor who actually puts pins in effigies in her freezer when she doesn't like someone. She's a Jew and is otherwise one of the nicest people you could imagine; I guess I could say SHE dabbles in witchcraft. but, Maher will be VERY effective, wait for it. He's promised to release tapes of her from years ago if she won't appear on his show.
I'm thinking that Americans are sick of this kind of treatment of EITHER side of the aisle and it could backfire greatly, but Maher and other loathsome leftwingers with no consciences who know there are dopes willing to condemn any Republican for anything they ever said or did, will keep pushing..

I just did a blog post about the witchcraft story, Bill Maher and his fellow human destructionists.

Maher is a little man, full of insecurities. Very sad those insecurities drive his politics and mean spirited behavior. But again, it's fairly typical of the left. We have a case on this blog.

And yes Americans are tired of it. I think they have stopped listening to this junk.

FB, I used to like Maher a LOT....suddenly, he's become such a hack, and I have to admit I burst into laughter when Larry King features him about every couple of months for the full hour of his show and watches every word that pours out of Maher as if King's panning for gold! It's almost painful to see the sycophancy in action! But, really very funny, especially because King takes no calls that don't butter them both up. The leftwingers just can't take it.

BUT, come to think of it, he's demanding that O'Donnell faces his criticism. Oh, sure..he won't take a challenging phone call but he'll screw O'Donnell to the wall!

Z, those people are sick. The worse: they think they know it all and are so bright when they know very little and their only weapon is satyr and for some sarcasm at best. But they can't prove anything using facts and a + b = c.

Just an fyi,

When clicking on a link right click instead of left click. Then left click on "open in a new window". If you do that it will always go back to the originating site when you leave.

My site software does not, and according to them, cannot be included on my end. It has to be on the originating end. Sorry for any inconvenience when visiting my site. I do not use blogger.

A multifaceted attack against sanity has been ongoing for quite some time now. We wrote about the Looney Left this week, as well. An expose, if you will, entitled Leftist Dishonesty. It appears to complement the sleaze going on in South Florida against Allen West. What slime these people are. It must make Ducky proud to belong to such a group of human scum.

Z, the rest of the story is, according to what I'm hearing on the radio, SHE WAS IN HIGH SCHOOL AT THE TIME.

Gee, I wonder what she did in elementary school? I can't wait to find out!

I have a little newsflash for Maher: How much confidence would current guests have in appearing on your show, Mr. Maher, if you'll dig up every silly thing which has been divulged while they were there? And there have been many, including yours.

What's next, private conversations? How low can you go? I'm sure we'll find out.

Why anyone would appear on a left winger's program today, is beyond me. They'd better stay on Maher's good side if he has one.

So now Maher is threatening O'Donnell with more of this if she doesn't appear on his show? Evidently a little blackmail is ok too. Anything to boost those ratings, eh, Bill?

I wonder how many of those Playboy Bunnies know real dirt about you Bill. You do live at the Playboy Mansion don't you?

Ducky, there's a lot of room between illegal homosexuality and guaranteeing that two men can marry each other.

-------------

This has nothing to do with marriage.

I will remind you of the Texas case when a cop arrested to men for having sex. The arrest and the law under which it was made was struck down by SCOTUS 5-4 and there was an uproar from the right.

You really can't state that no Republican would favor making homosexuality illegal, many would.

Speedy G said...

If only to take "bridge too far" homosexual "rights" issues like "marriage" and "sex ed" off the table - you're darn tootin'. Sounds like a plan...

Speedy G said...

As we learned from the 9-11 Mosque incident, whatever's not "illegal" is a "right" w/the Left. Which is mr. ducky is marrying my donkey next week... it's his "right".

Z said...

Ducky, thanks..please link the "uproar from the Right"...I'd like to read that, seriously.

Speedy, excellent points........it's only the left which endorses those rights over what's right, however.
People aren't hearing the truth and they're getting the information tweaked.

Pris, he's going to reveal tapes from long-ago previous shows until she agrees to come on the show. here's what I'd say if I were her:

"Mr. Maher thinks he can threaten my campaign with these tapes and, of course, they're probably things nobody wants to hear a senatorial candidate say. I'm guessing I've said even more silly things in my past and I'd guess every Senator in position today has, too.
I know that my being Conservative, the side Mr Maher has such revulsion for, makes me open season not only for him but for Rachel Maddow and even the mainstream media...though, of course, we should change that term's connotation because, let's face it, FOX is the MAINSTREAM MEDIA these days if we look at their viewer numbers.

Anyway, I won't be appearing on Maher again. Is this kind of treatment going to stop if I do? I doubt it. Go ahead, Mr. Maher, show them all and , please, public, listen to what I say today, I'm not dating witches anymore, I don't care what you do in the privacy of your own home, and we have a country to save.

I want to thank Bill for getting my name into the mainstream, I appreciate that, because when they connect the face they're seeing through the news, which is glorying in his accusations, and connect that with my message today, I think the public will be really impressed and I invite them to hear more about me TODAY on my website at........

Thanks...God bless America and, by the way, what's Maher got against Witches? Is he discriminating against them? I'd worry about that, America.

:-)

I guess it just goes to show, if you ever want to run for public office, don't hang out w/Democrats. It's bound to come back to haunt you.

Sounds good Z,
In fact I'm sure Maher probably thinks witches are just fine. It's Christians he hates.

The case was Lawrence vs. Texas, z. It's all out there.

Good, Ducky, thanks.
I'd go look but I can barely download anything today...and this is certainly not worth the time or trouble. One stupid case and I'm suddenly going to have an epiphany that ALL REPUBLICANS really ARE racist and then move to your party in sheer disgust only to become a REAL racist, right?
Why DO you come here, anyway? I always get the hilarious idea you think you're teaching us something :-)

I think Maher feels so bad about his big nose and unattractive face that he has to destroy people. It makes him feel better. Leftism is the sharing of misery. Ducky has the same behavior. It's pretty pathetic. That's why they don't like Objectivism.

Z said...

Fb, I've thought that, too, Mahers is a weasel and he knows it.
Friends I know hang at the Heffner mansion because my friend's a writer and his boss gets invited to watch first run films with Heffner...they said Maher is really quite a weasel, very empty, never has a woman with him who matters...very empty guy. Very Very sad

FrogBurger said...

That would explain it. He has to destroy a pretty lady b/c his thought process goes through his unsatisfied p---s.

Plus some men really have issues with strong women they can't get. I'm being personal here but my dad was like that and would demean any woman like this. So I'm alway very cautious with people who launch attacks on women for no reason.

Ducky, didn't Scalia characterize the law in the Lawrence case as bad legislation? I think his point was that there was nothing in the Constitution that gave the national government the right to strike down the state's law.

For your gedanken experiment...what do you think would happen if a candidate said he wanted to make homosexuality safe, rare, and legal?

tio

Z said...

tio, good point..there are so many legislative complications that Americans don't hear or understand... that also happens with Senate and Congressional votes; the Right's being bashed all the time because there are aspects to bills that are WRONG but the bill, on the cover, looks so good for Americans. And, the media won't broadcast why the Reps think what they think is wrong is wrong!

I think Coulter DID regard Maher a friend, good question about whether they still are. I hope they don't drink with sharp knives in the room!!

safe, rare and legal....how do you legislate RARE? :-)

Anonymous said...

Z, "safe, rare, and legal" i think was clinton's description of what abortion should be. pro-lifers picked up on the fact that striving for abortion to be rare suggests that it is more than a "procedure." would anyone strive to make tonsilectomies rare? seems that there is some innate realization that abortion is wrong--but what to do about it? i'm wonder about the attitudue re homosexuality. i'm wondering how universal the deire is to make it rare.

making it rare probably has more to do with culture than legislation. what goes on in schools would certainly have a bearing.
