TRAYVON MARTIN: Obama (and our money) taking a stand? WHAT??

"Wednesday, Judicial Watch announced that the Department of Justice had turned over documents in response to a Freedom of Information Act request showing that the Community Relations Service (CRS), a small division of the DOJ, was sent to Sanford, Florida after the Trayvon Martin shooting to help manage rallies and protests.

In April 2013, Breitbart News' Lee Stranahan first reported the role of the CRS in Sanford.
The new documents show that from March 25 through April 12, 2012, the CRS spent thousands of dollars helping organize and “work” marches and demonstrations regarding Trayvon Martin. Tasks included:

  • Working “marches, demonstrations, and rallies related to the shooting and death of an African-American teen by a neighborhood watch captain”;
  • Providing “support for protest deployment in Florida”;
  • Providing “technical assistance to the City of Sanford, event organizers, and law enforcement agencies for the march and rally on March 31”;
  • Providing “technical assistance, conciliation, and onsite mediation during demonstrations planned in Sanford.”

In April, the CRS reportedly “set up a meeting between the local NAACP and elected officials that led to the temporary resignation of police chief Bill Lee according to Turner Clayton, Seminole County chapter president of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People.”

Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton commented, “These documents detail the extraordinary intervention by the Justice Department in the pressure campaign leading to the prosecution of George Zimmerman. My guess is that most Americans would rightly object to taxpayers paying government employees to help organize racially-charged demonstrations.”"  (end of article)

Z:  Isn't that unbelievable?  Yet, it's apparently true.  Please show me it isn't, I'd be happy for the information.  OUR TAX DOLLARS went toward creating demonstrations and marches in a trial that our government should have NOTHING to do with.  Our government is supporting sides in situations which has never been done before.  Our government is giving Black leftwing voters all sorts of percs.  By the way, am I the only person on the planet who didn't know LBJ said the following?

President Johnson after signing the Civil Rights Act: I’ll have those ni**ers voting democratic for the next 200 years” (Inside The White House by Ronald Kessler, Simon & Schuster 1996)

WHAT?  I Googled that quote a lot and this is not disputed whatsoever, yet it's barely known.  And it fits this whole leftwing government support of Black Americans FOR THE VOTE.  As does our government and our tax dollars doing what they did in Florida for Trayvon Martin.
This president has hit such lows, hasn't he.  At our expense.   Should the DoJ's involvement not merit a special counsel investigation?  I think so.

Whatever happened to the concept of a fair trial?

Oh, wait.

Zimmerman isn't black enough to get a fair trial. Zimmerman does have black ancestry: his father is a white American of German descent and his mother is Peruvian with some black ancestry through her Afro-Peruvian maternal grandfather.

So, he's not dark enough to suit the agenda?

Always On Watch said...

It is a well known fact that LBJ despised blacks.

Always On Watch said...

Remember THIS?

On August 4, despite precautions taken by the court, [Charles] Manson flashed the jury a Los Angeles Times front page whose headline was "Manson Guilty, Nixon Declares". This was a reference to a statement made the previous day when U.S. President Richard Nixon had decried what he saw as the media's glamorization of Manson.

One of the dumbest things that Richard Nixon ever said! A lot of talk about mistrial at the time and, later, about how "Charlie was railroaded by Nixon."

Always On Watch said...

One of the comments at The Daily Caller: As a Black woman, I am disgusted by this....why are the democrats constantly causing turmoil and upheaval and divisiveness. We just want to live our lives in peace and quiet. I am calling on this administration to stop this nonsense immediately!!!

Prediction: Duck will be along to quack "Aunt Jemima" about the above.

Suppose some blue-eyed, blond white guy were to have killed Zimmerman. What trial circus would be going on now?

Always On Watch said...

From CNN: The George Zimmerman investigation was hijacked "in a number of ways" by outside forces, said the former police chief of Sanford, Florida.

Bill Lee, who testified Monday in Zimmerman's second-degree murder trial, told CNN's George Howell in an exclusive interview that he felt pressure from city officials to arrest Zimmerman to placate the public rather than as a matter of justice....

Also see THIS at the National Review. Note the final paragraph:

Kathi Belich, a journalist following the trial for a local news channel, tweeted her surprise at the line of questioning, writing “I have never seen that in more than 30 years of court reporting.”

Mustang said...

I'm thinking there must be some relationship between a DOJ lacking integrity, and the fact that 91% of murders in the black community are black on black. Now of course, it could just be me ... but it would seem the news story is in that horrible figure, rather than the shooting of a teenaged thug who, in my view, got exactly what he deserved.

Z said...

AOW; Zimmerman also worked with Black youth to help them out...nobody's mentioned that.
Nixon was so wrong for weighing in on that trial! Of course, his DoJ didn't finance protests against a defendant! I think there's a huge difference here.
That Black woman needs an award; at least some see how they're being played. So sad.
And if a blonde/blue eyed person had killed Zimmerman, it'd be all about racism toward hispanics :-)

CnC...WELL SAID! are so right..good reminder!

Mustang, I saw a short discussion on black on black killings recently on TV; it's like a best kept secret and I wonder that blacks with influence aren't working on that. It's almost as if they don't really care about ANYTHING that hasn't political implications....I've blogged here several times that Obama's missed his chance, as a half Black president, to address black kids about doing better in school, not doing drugs, not having babies out of wedlock......... he has the bully puplit; let him do some loving bullying. Of course, the stats show you and I are right, but I suppose he fears he'd be suddenly considered WHITE if he DID do anything like that.

Z said...

You all agree with me that Zimmerman will be found guilty of a lesser charge now that the judge has approved lesser charges?
I think he had a far better chance if it was 'all or nothing' Murder 2.

Z said...

How high do you suppose it went that they wanted AN ARREST? This is upsetting. This is AMERICA. I'm not saying that this hasn't happened thousands of times "just get an arrest" but it shouldn't be happening anymore...and with the DoJ information, one really wonders.
How the heck much smoke must there be...?

I remember being in Peral Harbor some time after the Kennedy assassination and seeing a two page expose'on the LBJ Ranch and the squalid conditions of the "Blacks" that were living on it. It was a feature article in a local Honolulu news paper (I don't recall the name of it). As everyone knows, Hawaii is one of the most liberal places in the US. LBJ, the embodiment of evil, who's "Great Society" program cost us between $6,000,000,000,000-$7,000,000,000,000 did nothing but destroy society and, especially, the "Black Community". He was a real gem. After his clandestine escalation of our Viet Nam involvment, while presiding over the most "race riots" in my lifetime, he fostered an entitlement mentality that entraps the ignorant into the DemocRAT party, in growing numbers, to this day!

"as a half Black president, to address black kids about doing better in school..."

He's hardly an example of doing better in school when NO ONE knows anything about his academic achievement or grades. WE don't know if he even attended those schools! There's graduates from his class that never knew of him...or saw him in the classes he claims to have sit in on.

We do know he was a pot smoking, cocaine snorting lounge about and playboy...that "Chooming" club, ya know.

But...he's not an authentic black as Zimmerman isn't an authentic white either. So he has no skin in the game. he's used 'blackness" for selfish goa;s only. Just like Moochele....well...just like most AA addicts.

Since he's half and half....he's done less than a half assed job. What'd we expect from the very intellectually lazy, jive ass man / boy?

Impertinent said...

"Lesser charge now that the judge has approved lesser charges?

I think it's going to be a mistrial...but if they do buy this lesser charge crap...cause the judge / umpire stole home base from the defense....they'll have one hell of a case for appeal, retrial on judicial misconduct.

Ducky's here said...

Unfortunately the efforts will probably be in vain if Zimmerman is declared innocent.

The trial has been held without serious disturbance but there is so much resentment built up you wonder if it can hold.

AOW, that dipstick seems to have failed to notice that there has been a level of composure.

Claiming Self-Defense, Black Man Kills White Man in Arizona; Escapes Arrest.

There is nothing wrong with the way "stand your ground" laws are written. What is wrong is the selective prosecution of one race over another. This is exactly what Eric Holder said he would not do: prosecute blacks when the victims were white. Holder is federal, of course, but don't tell me shit doesn't roll down hill.

I won't say that race relations were ideal before Obama, but I will say they have deteriorated to a dangerous level ABO, and that's saying something if you understand the mischief done by Jackson and Sharpton.

But let me say why I think Zimmerman was prosecuted. Holder called Gov. Scott and told him that if there was not a prosecution in this case, Holder would send in the feds ... and Scott rolled over. He first appointed a state prosecutor who said he would not take Zimmerman to trial. Scott next appointed a female state prosecutor who is without integrity. Ergo, now you have the trial.

And let us not forget the politics that resulted in the Sanford Police Chief from being fired and the investigating detective being demoted back to patrol because the city and state didn't like how they came down on this investigation.

Justice? Hardly.

Ducky's here said...

Ah, the standard fringe right wing criticism.

Ask one of these right wingers about the repeal of the Voting Rights Act, "Jackson and Sharpton". They're like trained parrots.

Robert Sinclair said...

Here's an idea, Duck ... since you brought up the New Black Panther Party, why don't you thrill us with your brilliance of thought and elocution? Feel free to provide your own supporting evidence.

Or, what you could do is change the narrative once again. Better yet, hold your hands over your ears and scream “la la la la” … idiot.

Perhaps they really truly do NOT understand what a president or AG are supposed to DO?

Forget Ducky and the New Black Panthers..he STILL thinks there was only one guy and they didn't look threatening :-)

Imp: I don't think O's background has anything to do with his speaking to kids, except you're probably right...some would say "You've got a lot of nerve.."

Still, he could have been effective and he has done just the opposite. He's taught kids to be more victims than they knew before.... gosh; I don't know if I ever heard about the blacks on LBJ's land...
what a truly awful man he was. And he got away with SO much no Republican would have ever got away with...
remember when his SON came out of the woodwork?
What a slob of a president; imagine showing his scar to cameras. And to say N***** like that ...what a swine.

Impertinent said...

@Robert Sinclair:

"a state prosecutor who said he would not take Zimmerman to trial..."

And decides to skip a grand jury that would never have written a bill or an indictment based on the lead detectives testimony..and a Police Chief who stood with his fired...and replaced by a black chief. Do blacks honestly believe that a Black cop won't bring criminal charges against them...cause he's a brother and he's not "down" with that?

Another travesty of justice to rape the lady who holds the scales of Justice...for the insatiable, racist mobs.

The CRS was requested by the City of Sanford, Florida to assist in community mediation efforts. The problem is that expense statements revealed in Judicial Watch's FOIA request reveal that CRS employees helped organize public protests. I don't think that has anything to do with remediation.

I believe that the CRS is one of those government bureaus that has outlived its usefulness, and should be scrapped along with many other Federal Government functions,

Well, "they helped organize" ... in other words we don't have an idea what they did exactly. We do know that there has been relative calm in the area and their efforts were beneficial.

z, you apparently have failed to read that I consider finding Zimmerman innocent a very delicate matter.
I'm sure you would all feel better if the tensions to this point had been really ratcheted up. So let's get down to the original premise ... our tax money was spent to help manage the issues in Florida.
All that because some black kid who looked scary got shot, what a waste.

So the NBP guy looked scary? Does that constitute voter intimidation in "afraid of the dark world"?
Well if he's found innocent and there isn't a major riot I wonder if you'll retract your concerns about "our" tax money (a lot more mine than yours) being spent.

LBJ didn't say that in regards to the Civil Rights Act he fought hard to defeat along with his fellow Democrats (When he was strong-armed into signing it into law by both Martin Luther King's March on Washington and the negative TV imagery of his fellow Democrat Bull Connor firehosing civil rights demonstrators, he lamented it would "lose the South" when blacks could start voting, mostly for Republicans as MLK himself did)

He instead said that despicable phrase about his "Great Society" initiatives, which conservatives used to oppose back when calling someone like Mitt Romney a "conservative" would have insulted both Romney and conservatives.

A bit later, a black woman asks for 5 dollah to get her prescription filled.
I said no. She couldn't believe it.
I locked the car and went inside to find Scherie. That woman followed me in saying:
I hope you die. I hope your wife dies. Honkie.
The saleslady looked up and was aghast.
I turned to the Obama suporter and said, "Why don't you shut your nasty mouth?".

Not with a Ket Tec PF9.

Do you know his community was robbed about a dozen damn times in the preceding 18 months up till his meet with Trayvon?

And they were all done by.."young black youfs too"? And by the time the cops came...they managed to escape? And later they found one of them lived right there and was robbing his 'neighbors"?

So yea...I'd say he might have been a bit pissed of ( his own home was robbed too ) and decided that he's be a neighborhood watch guy. ( Under the supervision of two Sanford cops and with the approval of the same SPD )

Does anyone also realize what the climate conditions were either?

I think not. Everyone assumes that he had a clear, clean visibility of TM. It was late February...around 7PM EST. It's been dark about an hour and change already. Raining...

Guy in a hood hiding his face...dark clothes..acting between buildings...hell yea I'd want to know who this was.

And this sneering ridicule of him as a "wannabe" cop. I know quite a few cops...and at one time...they were all WANNABE's...until they became Cops.

Which an honorable profession too...judging how the Sanford cops carried themselves on that witness stand.

As I said, Imp, he was baited for bear... partly for the circumstances you describe.
I had to wonder at him calling his gun "my firearm" every time. I am SURE some people just do that, but it did get me giggling, I have to admit. VERY OFFICIAL.
And yes, it was raining, and I'd beat that home were I his defense attornies, because I don't believe it's been mentioned enough.

Firearm? Well...he had attended classes in Firearm use and instructions ( very smart ), and Florida law regarding the legalities of being a licensed CCW holder. I went through the same classes when I applied for my permit back in 1985. BTW...I already had one for concealed carry from....drum roll...New Jersey, the Peoples Undemocratic Republic.

Gun? He had a pistol which is the proper term for a semi auto.

The Gun description might be used for a revolver. I may be wrong of course.

Raining...yes it was and that's documented form the wet grass stains and GZ's back...wet.

But...the key issue is that it was very...dark out by that time...which is why he said..."I thinks he's black".

OT a bit...I have to wonder if Ducky is proud that some of his fellow Bostonians think "Boat Boy" bomber and muslim murderer has become a bit of a hero with some of the...deranged locals.

Could it be that the true purpose of this "case", the real motivation behind the mediás crusade to lynch Zimmerman is this: the Racist bunch of Pigs such as Al Sharpton , the lawless Mob that calls themselves The Black Panthers and our Socialist President otherwise know as Dear Leader Barack Hussein Obama, as well at that idiot and partial judge how should be throw out on her ass for her bias decisions. Just look at how this whol thing started! How can Dear Leader ever bring us our Socialist Utopia with all these racists sabotaging things, I ask you?

It is tricky trying to psychoanalyze "progressives" since they make no sense, but I think this is pretty close to what has really been going on with the victimization of Trayvon Martin.
Obama’s finger prints are all over this railroading. Its disgraceful and scary that an innocent man can be railroaded like this with the help of our Government. It’s very obvious that Eric Holder and maybe Obama himself is pulling the strings.. They’ll do anything they can to get some kind of conviction and prison time for Zimmerman they even tried child abuse... This whole trial is a joke the prosecution never had a case in the first place and they are trying every trick in the book to get this guy convicted..

In my mind as well as in many others George Zimmerman is innocent or should I say NOT GUILTY of the crime he is being tried for. . The evidence clearly shows this is true. The Prosecution’s case was so week that it’s almost a joke but this isn’t funny. Yet the liberal media and the liberal/progressive bloggers like this delusional UN-informed Dervish Sanders. And the Black community have already convicted him in their court of public opinion. The prosecution was grasping at straws and emotion in his summation. It is the prosecutions job to prove his case beyond a doubt. Especially when the illiterate nincompoop star witness for the prosecution Rachel Jeantel was proved to be to a retarded disaster, and was only able to speak in Ebonics !
The Blacks/Liberals/progressives have turned Trayvon into a saint and a martyr.
Just as I thought there already is a MOB of protesters yelling and screaming outside the court.
We are a nation of Rule of the Mob filled with lawless people and led by lawless leaders like Al Sharpton and his band of thugs. Zimmerman is the victim of a racist witch hunt. He never would have been charged with a crime had it not been for vile race-baiters, like Al Sharpton, the Black Panthers, Jesse Jackson. and aided by Barrack Hussein Obama, and Eric H. Holder
Makes me wonder is a white person has a chance in this jury system!
