OK-who is the artist? I love it :-)
C-CS
great painting is right. but some may say a few of those folks don't deserve to be at the CONSERVATIVE table z!!
Oh Lord, isn't that great.
I love it.
Gave me both a smile and some sadness.
Style is similar to "Poker Playing Dogs" another favorite of far right intellectuals.
CS...got it in an email..don't know!
Pat, I didn't want to mention that, but...........yup My viewpoint about some of those in the painting isn't very popular.
Hey, American Girl...thanks.
Joe, I know what you mean..some greats there! Not many 'greats' today.
Ducky...leave it to you to attack the style instead of the substance.
What substance, z?
Great presidents like the Bush boys?
Ronald Reagan, the head architect of our current mess?
You're comparing Gerald Ford, the Bushes, Reagan and Nixon to Lincoln?
Bore me later.
You think the picture is boring, Ducky? Have you read your own comments?
Hi, Z. Great find! :)
Sorry for not being around for so long. HP took nearly a month to repair my pc. I finally got it up and running yesterday.
You know, Ducky, yes, I admire them all....but Conservatives know that, despite protestations from Liberals about obama, no president will ever be perfect. I never got the feeling they hated this country...what's the down side to that?
Funny about the BUSH BOYS...when I get to feeling down on Geo W, I remember a liberal recently admitting that Bush had to vote for BIG SPENDING because congress members had told him they'd not keep us in Iraq if he didn't...something I'd always figured was going on.
The Iraqis and anybody honest enough to admit it see success there...but, I'm not arguing IRaq today, TRUST me...
What I will argue is why that information didn't hit the mainstream media. I didn't keep the information (name, etc.) because I 'knew' they would make this a big story. "tit for tat" on something that important? NOT in OUR COUNTRY!
But, of course...the media ignored it.....it's dead (along with stories about who caused the subprime loans, who tried to warn us, etc etc).......I keep forgetting that the media's all on your side and America's stuck with a press on a par with Pravda. Nice work, liberals.......you're living in the wrong country so you're trying to change our country. stop it.
Gayle, thanks..just good to see you back.
That's right z, someone said something and the "mainstream media" (whatever that is) didn't report the facts AS YOU KNOW THEM (how is still not revealed) so it must be biased.
That's just anecdotal. You think the "mainstream media" is biased, okay, but that won't pass for fact anywhere.
I saw a bumper sticker yesterday that read: “Liberals treat dogs like people, Conservatives treat people like dogs.” Now I understand where Ducky gets his caustic, mostly inane comments. I naturally support everyone’s right of free expression; I only wonder why liberals are so eager to announce their stupidity. If there were a single group that treats people like dogs, I would have to say socialists and communists are unquestionably entitled to that distinction—people that Ducky most adores.
It's not at all 'anecdotal' if it's coming from me, Ducky.
The politician said what I said he said.
Here's one thing about this blog: I DON'T LIE and NEVER WILL.
Mustang..thanks. amazing stuff. And they don't see it.
I just got a call..someone tells me the WSJ has an article today about how we can only deduct money for, say, soup kitchens now IF they are run by minorities.
It's a whole new world, isn't it.
Only minorities will get helped.
Never mind the thousands who non minority soup kitchens help.
I'll take a dozen 8X10's of this picture please.
Ducky's here said...
"Style is similar to "Poker Playing Dogs"
Same thing!
z, anecdotal doesn't mean that the statement is false. It means that the statement is offhand and untested.
It may be right. It may be wrong but it hasn't sufficient analytics behind it to be anything more than an unsupported opinion.
Well, Ducky...I'll just call you FUNK now..as in Wagnall.
it's close, anyway. :-)
I think he's more like a S and H green stamp catalog. Wishful thinking on the outside..cheap novelty on the inside.
Who needs a toaster? Come get your toaster...
GREAT picture!
Morgan
A picture of "great" liberal presidents playing cards would have FDR playing with himself, oops playing by himself.
Wow..Teddy Roosevelt! The first president to call for universal healthcare..:) How time flies..
Law and Order..true.
BB...Republicans get it wrong sometimes, too! Heh
LOL.
Good one Z.
This is really great.
Roosevelt was also a proponent of eugenics. He got that wrong too.
L&O, would that liberal card game be Fish? Old Maid?
Just askin'.
Pris
Probably Old Maid. With the weak foreign policy we are about to see that would be appropriate, yes?
I've been thinking of a card game for them, too.
Old Maid seems to fit, actually!
in some ways.
With the fond feelings many of us hold for the best in each of these men, I guess HEARTS might be appropriate...come to think of it!!
This picture has now shown up over at Lucianne.com.
WVDOTTR
WV..well, how's that!? I had the scoop before HER! HA!
I have noticed that I"ll put stories up here and then hear them on the cable channels later that day. Mr. Z teases me and says I should go into TV news production! I WISH. I love this stuff!!
