We all make mistakes. Here’s his:
1. A do-over on the oath of office.
2. Tim Geithner.
3. Bill Richardson.
4. Tom Daschle.
5. Eric “Nation of Cowards” Holder.
6. Leon Panetta.
7. Arne “Cappuccino”
8. Hilda Solis (OK, her husband has the tax liens).
9. Nancy Killefer.
10. Charles Freeman Jr.
11. Ron Kirk.
12. Adolfo Carrion.
13. Banning offshore oil again.
14. Letting Nancy Pelosi write the $787 billion “stimulus’ plan.
15. Relying on Tim Geithner to explain it.
16. It is a $13-a-week stimulus, or as his wife said of Bush’s plan: “You’re getting $600. What can you do with that? Not to be ungrateful or anything. But maybe it pays down a bill, but it doesn’t pay down every bill every month.”
17. Going to a press conference without a TelePrompTer. I… Uhh… Umm… Could you repeat the question?
18. Using a TelePrompTer at a press conference. Big boys don’t need training wheels.
19. “Good evening, everybody. Please be seated. Before I take your questions tonight, I’d like to speak briefly.” 1,228 words later he took his first question.
20. Going after Rush Limbaugh.
21. Going after Rick Santelli.
22. Going after Jim Cramer.
23. “Never waste a good crisis.”
24. Obama supporter Warren Buffett: “I don’t think anybody on December 7th would have said a ‘war is a terrible thing to waste, and therefore we’re going to try and ram through a whole bunch of things and — but we expect to — expect the other party to unite behind us on the — on the big problem.’ It’s just a mistake, I think.”
25. Writing a love letter to Vlad and Dmitry.
26. Putting
27. Putting
28. Putting
29. Taking
30. Having his tax cheat go after the tax cheats in
31. “Karzai has a bunker mentality.”
32.
33. “I won.”
34. BlackBerry singing in the middle of the night/ Take these golden secrets and learn to fly…
35. Obama: “If Congress passes our plan, this company will be able to rehire some of the folks who were just laid off.” CEO: No. There will be more layoffs.
36. DVDs to Gordon Brown.
37. “You can’t take a trip to
38. Wagyu.
39. Reset/overcharge button given to
40. Taking a 4-day holiday weekend before signing “emergency” legislation.
41. “I did think it might be useful to point out that it wasn’t under me that we started buying a bunch of shares of banks. It wasn’t on my watch. And it wasn’t on my watch that we passed a massive new entitlement — the prescription drug plan — without a source of funding. And so I think it’s important just to note when you start hearing folks throw these words around that we’ve actually been operating in a way that has been entirely consistent with free-market principles and that some of the same folks who are throwing the word ’socialist’ around can’t say the same.”
42. Stiffing
43. Caroline Kennedy.
44. Bombing
45. Sending the bust of Sir Winston Churchill back to the British.

51. Quadrupling the deficits, while denouncing them.
52. Missing the Gridiron Club dinner.
But be of good cheer. He has 1,409 days left to make up for his stumbles out of the starting gate.

HE MISSED THE GRIDIRON DINNER? That's a VERY TRADITIONAL dinner Presidents never miss...
why?
Great post, Z.
Here are some more:
He stood up Medal of Honor recipients a their Inaugural Ball (so he could attend one with celebrities).
And what about the racist speech by Joseph Lowery during the Inauguration.
All I can say is
AAAAAAAAAAAAARGH!
HEEEEEEEEEEEELP!
SHEEEEEEEESH!

Excellent synopsis!
Shouldn't Vice President Joe Biden be on that list?
Sal's Gal
Great blog today Z!
I will add one:
No lobbyist will have any part of my administration...
But I guess it counts naming them.
Nice job!
Georhe W. Bush was reelected in 2004. You're correct Z. Everyone can make a mistake.
Yes, George W. Bush was re elected in 2004, which is probably why we are all still alive to complain today.
Mr. Obama is going to be at Camp David instead of this Gridiron Dinner.
I don't know, maybe his teleprompter was washing its hair or something.
Maybe he is fatigued from all those telephone calls to Saudi Arbabia. WHo knows.
WVDOTTR
Glad you like this list, most of you...
I have to admit I DID NOT COME UP WITH THESE, my friend from AZ did (thanks, DO!) BUT, we could have all come up with this list and a few of you have added well to it.
Truth, glad to have you here...Funny screen name for you, though! Maybe, when you get out of Class 101, something more advanced, you'll know more? (smile)
WV..exactly.
Oh, Truth? I was thinking...instead of slamming Bush (do you guys EVER get tired of that?), how about correcting us on any one point.
YOu Ducky's twin brother?
There's a new one just today:
53. Can't call enemy combatants, uh..er...um..enemy combatants.
You know Z, this could be fun. We could have a race keeping track of his mistakes, as opposed to Obama's enemies list, which the way he's going, could even be longer than his mistakes.
Looks to me like the American people stumbled into The Mickey Mouse Club!
Pris
Right, Pris.
NO "WAR ON TERROR" and NO "ENEMY COMBATANTS" Tralla Trallee!!
YIPPPEEEE!! Now we don't have to WORRY ABOUT TERRORISM..and all because of Mr. Obama! I'm SO RELIEVED!
oh, brother..this IS scary.
I just wish I'd see SOME evidence that those people are watching as closely as Bush and Cheney were. I don't......
it's horrifying and we just have to keep praying that things go well.......in spite of our leaders, I guess. and pray FOR them....that they'll WAKE UP.
Pris, I loved the Mickey Mouse Club but I think you're correct because I remember when I was watching it back in the 70's and 80's evry Friday was the 'Anything can happen and it usually does day'
So, hold on to your hats folks this is going to be a very wild ride from the way things have already started.
Blessings.
Z,
Far be it for me to vouch for anyone, but Truth is a reasonable liberal/anti Republican. He is far from Ducky, who is ... I don't know. You will get reasoned argument from him. You can ask nothing else.
Your post was great. What a great compendium and only 50+ days. Well done.
L&W...thanks, with Truth's first comment, I thought he was another Ducky.
Thanks for telling me he's reasonable..I'll enjoy that and hope he comes back. A rare find!
Hi, I.H.S. Well, so far every day has been "anything happens day".
Maybe that's what is meant by "progressive"!
Z, to be serious, I think Obama will be tested by the barbarians. I believe any new President would be tested. His display of weakness is an invitation.
What's more, he appears to be in over his head. The world is watching, especially the enemy.
Pris
I think, when America writes the epitaph of the Obama Presidency in November 2012, it will be two words:
"Amateur Night."
Great list!
ha, how about running for president, he cant handle the position
Hmmm... I didn't hear any of these on the MSM. :-)
It isn't a sin to make a mistake. I've sure made a tassle of them in my life time. The problem is when you don't learn from your mistakes.
But I don't think nominating people who you know to be dishonest is a mistake; it was done with knowledge and forethought.
No reasonably intelligent, responsible, America-loving politician could ever justify Clinton or Napolitano; but it was pay-back, and expedient, and consistent with Mr. Obama's socialist plan for America.
Mistake? Nope. Planned.
BO has been quite the busy little bee when it comes to stepping over principles we have held dear for centuries in this country. And he's just getting started.
I'm hoping Ducky weighs in on THIS one, huh? So far, no good..:-(
sort of surprising! heh
Or he has 1,409 days left to extend that list.
••• "I have to admit I DID NOT COME UP WITH THESE, my friend from AZ did (thanks, DO!)" •••
I have to say that neither of you came up with this material. OBAMA did! ;-)
What a Nass!
