I've been to two Suns games this year and their only defense is when the other team goes cold. The Lakers never went cold tonight.

Man, Elbro, Kobe had forty points with a bad knee.
I couldn't watch because Mr. Z loved watching the Lakers so it still hurts too much, but their winning pleases me no end. :-)
Thanks for coming by.....

I'm rooting for the Lakers on this one against the stupid Canadian

All the "Los Suns" crap aside, I'm still pulling for my home team.

That being said - this is going to be a tough series if The Suns don't change their game plan. They can win, but they went about it the wrong way tonight...

Soloman, Soloman....they played against KOBE!! If his knee holds up, that's a real bad 'game plan' for Phoenix!

Celtics vs. Lakers final?

I hope Garnett takes Kobe's head off.

Lakers vs Celtics. I pick Lakers just because of Ducky. Ducky you should not like sports at all. It's all about competition, winner vs loser. I thought you didn't like that in real life!

I know, FrogBurger...so many liberal school districts are ruining and weakening our kids by not having SCORES anymore...T Ball teams are up for 10 minutes, then change who's. So nobody gets hurt feelings because they lost.
I guess the left thinks we're growing future soldiers to defend our country this way? OH, but the left doesn't believe we need soldiers...there you go. :-(

I know Z. My former little brother had really bad grades and behavior problem in school. Yet he got a trophy for good attendance. Pretty pathetic.

oh, FB...that is REALLY troubling..."here's something for just showing up"
Typical of socialism, isn't it...no reward for the human spirit.
Thanks for telling us that....is he a productive kid now, by the way?

There you go with the lakers again!

After 3 years, I stopped early January. I was honestly disturbed by the fact it was more about stuff and paying for activities than being a role model and setting a good example for education. I want to mentor or help kids again but it would to have a real focus on helping them prepare their future and not just having a good time.

I didn't know the Spanish, so I went to Babelfish.com to get the translation...To take dirt?

I don't like Pro basketball anymore. I used to be a non-contact sport distinguishable from other sports by finesse.

Now it more closely resembles a fight between the Crips and the Bloods.

Mark..EAT DIRT!

Not you, I mean...er....the translation!

FB, I'm sorry you stopped...you could have really helped. But, you'd have to be stealthy, right?

Ducky, I would think you'd want everyone to have a trophy. There are no losers in life, only victims. Right?

Z, you need to re-visit my blog and find your way to the post I wrote entirely in Spanish. I inadvertently made a very good point about the now common practice of printing up signage in both English and Spanish--it doesn't always translate accurately.

Frog - I think the kids get it. My grandson had barely begun Kindergarten when he brought home a paper he'd done with a sticker from the teacher, that said "terrific work"!

When I congratulated him he said, "it doesn't mean anything, everybody got one". He was five years old.

Oh, that educators could be as astute.
