Keep Joe Biden's son in your prayers

It doesn't sound serious, but VP Joe Biden doesn't need more family tragedy....let's hope this is nothing big and all's well very soon.

praying. that family had certainly had enough tragedy - but then, i guess that could be said about most families. regardless, parents shouldn't outlive their children even if i don't agree with them politically.

Joe seems to be a guy that a person couldn't help but like if he were around him. I take has for a long time been that the old guy is probably a hoot. To bad he has given himself over to the dark side. Thanks for this post.

I can't find any reportage on this.

What has HAPPENED? What's WRONG?

I'm not one of Joe Biden's fans, but it would be monstrous to wish any member of his FAMILY ill.

I'm reminded of the Kennedys. It's almost as though The Voice of God sounded very loudly from the Heavens saying NO!!! to Old Joe Kennedy and his boundless ambition.

The Kennedy Clan is BENIGHTED. The amount of tragedy and rotten luck visited upon them defies all the laws of statistical probability.

I'm not claiming this is true for Joe Biden, but it MIGHT be.

From all I've heard Al Gore's son turned out rotten.

Could all this be mere coincidence?

But of course we will pray that this fellow recovers.

Last I heard Biden's son had mild stroke. That is a shame, he's young to have had this happen. Prayers for him and his family.

Oh, Pris, I hope not, though they can do great things after small strokes these days depending on what it's affected. My girlfriend's husband had a very slight one and has been absolutely fine for 15 years, on BP medicine, etc......
This Biden guy is young and with a young family...I hope he'll be okay.
Joe Biden's really suffered regarding his and his family's health, as you know.
IMagine losing your wife and daughter as they were out looking for a Christmas tree? And almost losing his 2 sons, too?
Wow.

From the Wikibio of Patricia Neal:

Patricia Neal (born 1926) met British writer Roald Dahl at a dinner party hosted by Lillian Hellman in 1951. They married on July 2, 1953, at Trinity Church in New York.

In 1961 and 1962 she suffered the death of one child and a grievous injury to another. Her daughter, Olivia, died from measles encephalitis and her son Theo's carriage was hit by a taxi when he was just four months old.

The marriage produced five children ...

While pregnant in 1965, Neal suffered three burst cerebral aneurysms, and was in a coma for three weeks.

Dahl directed her rehabilitation and she subsequently relearned to walk and talk ("I think I'm just stubborn, that's all"). On August 4, 1965, she gave birth to a healthy daughter, Lucy.

Neal and Dahl's 30-year marriage ended in divorce in 1983 after Dahl's affair with Neal's friend, Felicity Crosland ...

Patrica Neal was born in 1926, has survived all that, continued her acting career, and is still very much alive at age 84.

A Profile in Courage and Endurance that should inspire and inspire us all.

Looks like Biden's son's going to be just fine but did definitely suffer a stroke...time's the key with strokes and it's a good thing he was smart enough to go into the hospital ASAP..

That's good news, Z. It's amazing what we can survive.
