Obama said these things!?

I look at my sitemeter now and again and like to see what people are reading....someone was just reading this post of mine from May, 2008 and I thought I had to repost it, my first repost ever...but an important one.

Tuesday, May 20, 2008 REPOST:

"....animosity against my mother's race"? WHAT, Obama?

In Obama's Own Words
from his own books....

This guy wants to be our President and control our government. He also talks about unifying everyone. Does this sound like one who really wants to unify? Pay close attention to the last comment.

From Dreams of My Father:

-'I ceased to advertise my mother's race at the age of 12 or 13, when I began to suspect that by doing so I was ingratiating myself to whites.'
-'I found a solace in nursing a pervasive sense of grievance and animosity against my mothers race.'
-'There was something about him that made me wary, a little too sure of himself, maybe. And white.'
-'It remained necessary to prove which side you were on, to show your loyalty to the black masses, to strike out and name names.'
-'I never emulate white men and brown men whose fates didn't speak to my own. It was into my father's image, the black man, son of Africa , that I'd packed all the attributes I sought in myself, the attributes of Martin and Malcolm, DuBois and Mandela.'

From Audacity of Hope:

-'I will stand with the Muslims should the political winds shift in an ugly direction.'

Do you all remember this information? An American president with quite some different feelings from previous presidents, huh? So, more than a year into his presidency, have you felt he still adheres to these statements?

It was scary then, and it is even scarier now since he is president. I pray we will be able to last the last 3 years.

Your Sunday Faith Blog isn't coming up. I got it on the reader, but it won't open, so I want to leave this comment:

When on the best day, when I am at my very best, I am still just a sinner saved by grace!

I appreciate you, Z. You are a blessing to me.

"'I never emulate white men and brown men whose fates didn't speak to my own."

I think that Obama was, as he wrote this, considering his best opportuinities to become successful in politics and influence, of course with the tutelage from his leftist mentors and friends.

The "workers of the world unite" crowd. Marxists, to be exact. He learned that he would have a better chance to rise in and exploit, what some call the underclass, so had to publicly express this in his books. An introduction so to speak, to those he chose as his most viable vehicle to succeed.

I do not believe he was on his own in doing this. I think he was influenced by others who took him under their wing.

I don't doubt his animus towards whites, he was taught well by those on the left who believe it's the white man who should be blamed for everything that's wrong under the sun.

Obama spent his formative years in Indonesia with a strong muslim influence. He didn't grow up with the American experience, therefore does not have that inner regard for America that most of us have.

So, it was decided that his best course was to ingratiate himself with the black community, or to quote others, establish "street cred". To do that, he conciously chose to disdain his white heritage, and to make that public.

He was on his way. I see Obama as a radical, who, with his radical associates, has only one goal. Absolute Power. That requires a cold, ruthless, no holds barred approach which is, the ends justify the means and it doesn't matter to what end those means are, it only matters to succeed.

So, I say as I've said before, don't listen to what he says, watch what he does.

Z,
As with anyone, Obama took the most advantageous route to political success and that is to be black. He has a decided leftist slant to his thinking and being black insulates him from criticism. It's a safe and comfortable place to be if you are about to "fundamentally transform America."

It's like we've all been saying, the evidence of Obama's radicalism was in abundant supply BEFORE he was elected.

SO WHY DID SO MANY VOTE FOR HIM?

How could so many voters totally dismiss this information and elect Obama?

Pris, when I got here to read comments I started from the bottom UP this time, starting with FairWitness, then L&Order and then yours....as I waited to type exactly what I see now that YOU SAID "I do not believe he was on his own in doing this. I think he was influenced by others who took him under their wing."

NOBODY will ever convince me otherwise...this Obama is NOT smart enough to have managed going to Occidental with no paper record, getting into Harvard and not telling anybody WHO PAID, aiding the media in obfuscating the truth about him AND the fact that both of his books were written in only 2 of the years that the prolific writer Bill Ayers DID NOT publish anything of "his own"....and, of course, we're to believe that a publishing house came to the Obamas and said "We'll give you thousands to go to the beach and write your autobio" as if ANYBODY's autobio is interesting until they're at least FIFTY and have LIVED SOME~!?...well, we could all go on and on about what we do NOT know about Obama..
Including who the HECK has paid that million or so to protect his birth certificate? WOW.

FairWitness, how COULD people have voted for this guy even if McCain was a horrid candidate?
Last night, I had a discussion with someone which I found fascinating..my dear buddy Joe thinks McCain is the consummate politician but would have been a better president because he'd not have had to play the politician QUITE so much anymore.....make sense? I think it does.

Law and Order....imagine a Black man winning mostly because he IS Black and then NOT working for better relations with Whites? I mean, the way he reacted with that Harvard Black prof and the White cops, etc etc...all horrid. He's done NOTHING to bring people together, only divided and conquered.

This man is a virtual SEPTIC TANK of poisonous ideology and damnable rhetoric.

Why don't people who think in this perverted fashion GO to the kind of places they want US to BECOME -- and STAY AWAY from the USA?

I don't WANT to be "converted" and overtaken by creatures of this ilk.

But to tell you the truth I am sick to death of being CONSTANTLY OUTRAGED.

I don't actually believe Obama wrote those books.

Beamish, did you see my comment? This is the part "....both of his books were written in only 2 of the years that the prolific writer Bill Ayers DID NOT publish anything of "his own"."

Sure Obama wrote them. And I wrote WAR AND PEACE.

Z, I think Obama and his leftist cronies feed off of disunity, chaos and crisis. They keep the pot boiling, that way we're off kilter, overwhelmed, and distracted from what they're really about.

They throw everything at us and see what will stick, then again and again until we're worn out. They'll keep this up, it's how they operate. One crisis after another.

Ft, I know what you mean about being sick of being outraged, but then I think of my children, my grandchild, our country, and I can't disengage. This is the future we're talking about, our legacy for generations to come.

So, each of us in our own way, no matter how small it seems, has to stay in the game, we can't afford not to. There are millions of people out there just like us, and that's our strength.

Do I remember this information? Hell, yes, I do.

Of course, many who voted for BHO don't have a clue about any of it.

Z,

Yes I saw your comment. I'm your backup singer ;)

Obama off script and teleprompter is a dull thinker and very inarticulate. I don't know who ghost-wrote his books for him, likely Ayers, but it is apparent Obama didn't.

Z, tell the truth & shame the devil! Those who voted for him & still make excuses for him are WILFULLY blind. I hope they are enjoying their KoolAid. We will never give in to this idiot's carp.

Keep up the good fight.
