A toast to PILZEN

Please read THIS...it will make you feel so good.....except it will remind us that our media didn't make much, if anything, about this marvelous story.  Everyone I've emailed it to has sent it on to friends and family, please do the same.
SOME people outside the country love America.........maybe more than some do here.
Pilsen also gave us THIS!  If you have time to wait for the foam to clear, it's a good beer, even if you're like me and have only maybe 3 beers a year!

The mainstream media will trumpet no feel-good story if that story brings glory to the United States, particularly if the story involves the heroism of our military. And, above all, the mainstream media continue to paint the picture of how other countries hate us.

Great find, Z.

I think AOW pretty much said it. The media is too busy fabricating stories of Marines wantonly killing civilians in Iraq.

The Czech people have always been a warm and caring people. Many came to this country in the 1800's and a few of them settled in Texas along with some German neighbors. They continue to give good beer. It's called Shiner and it is one of the best I have ever tasted. I prefer the Bock occassionaly but the blond is good as well and is akin to the Pilsner. They make it the old time way with only 66 employees and beat out some of the largest makers of beer in the world.

Thanks for a great story Z. I just wanted to add to what I see as the Czech people still caring about making things better.

As important as the heroic efforts of General George S. Patton were in the war one should remember the supreme sacrifice he made because he pointed out what was actually happening after the defeat of Germany and turning half of Europe over to the other slave holding socialist nation that was involved in the start of the war ... Stalin's Soviet Union.

Were the American political leaders happily involved in aiding and abetting the expansion of the USSR? Seems Patton thought so and it cost him his life ...

What a wonderful and heartfelt story. So very touching.

Shame so many Americans forget the sacrifices of our soldiers.

Thank you Czech Republic for honoring and remembering them.

The worthless western media only show you the vermin and the rats that scurry out to whine about anything against America, but know that many of us know what your nation has done for the world and won't forget.
