THE ECONOMY.....first GOP Campaign ad?

I have nothing to add.  Except I wish EVERYBODY would borrow this from Opus and blog it...I'd hope it would be a GOP campaign ad but I doubt it will be.  Please give it a watch and please send it to your email list....... It's something people need to hear......
Unbelievable.

The GOP needs to learn how to go on the attack. They've been sitting back absorbing attacks calling them hostage takers and terrorists by democrats in DC and at the NY Times. It it significant that the times hasn't even used that language on the real terrorists who really did kill people.

Now John Kerry comes out with his french coiffure and says this is a tea party downgrade, when the tea party didn't spend one damn dime.

It's the socialists of all parties, of which Kerry is one.

This is a downgrade of progressive statism

E-mail and Face book here I come

thanks for posting Z

They are so desperate the left that in Oct 2012 the are releasing a movie of the Bin Laden Capture no doubt to propagandize how Obama lead the effort.
Wow people have no jobs but they will vote for him because he's so devoted to the cause, the cause of himself.

Ducky is right
"Everything's going to plan" Obama 's plan to bankrupt the country is right on target.

Don't take a sip of coffee and then read this, folks: I just heard someone on CNN, because government bonds will probably be hit so hard now, recommend Americans BUY CORPORATE BONDS.
Yes, the same "CORPORATE" they like to insult, demean, damage in any way they can, is now being touted as THE BUY in hard times :-)

Silverfiddle...how LONG have we wished they'd 'go on the attack', get better talkers, get the message across..... to no avail? WE don't have a DIRECTOR OF CONSERVATIVE MEDIA in the White HOuse paid for by tax dollars like that Director of African American Media position. And, let's face it, anybody here NOT think there's not a position something like "Dir of LIBERAL AMERICAN MEDIA" today in the WH? Which side do YOU think those producers which were hired by Obama after his inauguration to work in the WH represent? :-)

Did you hear John Kerry said the Tea Parties need to be quieted?

And AL GORE is recommending an American (Arab) SPRING.. "not violent, of COURSE" REALLY, AL?
He says the Tea Parties aren't really grass roots because the KOCH BROS put money into them and this group needs to be replaced with a "REAL GRASS ROOTS" group; (that'd be LEFTWING ANARCHISTS, of course, supported by SOROS, but THAT's acceptable!)

see what they're doing? The group that's beating them must not just be insulted but VANQUISHED: SO Biden calls Conservatives "Terrorists", Kerry says they need to be quieted, Bob Beckel and many others referred to us as ANARCHISTS.

Get the drift? This is all campaigning; this is nothing about saving this country.
Meanwhile, Republicans are doing all they can; having hearings like Peter King's and Issa's, and the media's barely covering them. The Left is STILL saying the Republicans had no plan! Seriously!

WE NEED TO GO ON THE ATTACK, SF is right, but, when we do, we're CRUCIFIED in the media. (the good news is that I think the public's FINALLY grasping that fact, but not quickly or comprehensively enough)

IMagine a Republican calling Democrats TERRORISTS and living through it ? :-)

these are amazing times but I think the Right is actually starting to put the pieces together and seeing what's been going on for YEARS (too late, but there might be hope, considering the Nov 2010 elections)...now we have to fight it and elect soldiers to COngress who'll fight FOR US, for AMERICA, not accept what the Dems are saying and doing.

You should have seen Maxine Waters on MSNBC last hour. She says the downgrade is the Tea Party's fault. That more government spending is what's called for. Oh, oh, oh ... and she needs to educate us on the way to stimulate the economy by spending even more. Just ridiculous.

If government spending was the answer, we'd all be in heaven right now. How on Earth can people representing us in Congress be so damn dumb?

When your credit cards are maxed out and you can't pay them off, you don't go get more credit cards or increase your limit. You cut your spending to the bone, you work more hours, you get a second job and EARN more money! YOU DON'T SPEND MORE MONEY!

What utter idiocy!

GrouchyFogie, You're exactly right.

Only it's not just Obama, this has been planned for a long time. Obama's just the front man.

As for you Ducky, since the far left is your home, I'm sure you're anxious for the mayhem to begin.

You and yours are so full of hate, you have no idea what you, and all of us, are losing.

Z said...

FairWitness, I'm so glad you mentioned that. Yes, this is what's behind the name calling and nastiness from the Left; to have America hear it's the Republicans' fault we're all hurting.
This is why I call this the opening of the Campaign Season for the Left.
I've commented what you said so many times..."If I'm max'd out, the last thing I need to put me in better fiscal standing is a HIGHER LIMIT on my credit card!" But, there are leftists who just don't seem to understand.

Maxine Waters; she's almost as bad as the Democrat who felt we couldn't put more prisoners on Gitmo because the island would sink under the weight. geeeZ

Pris, Amen to all that you said..... yes, the Left will lose, too, but they're too busy hating to think.

"The evident panic of the progressive mind stems from a paradox as old as progressivism in America. Progressives see themselves as the only legitimate representatives of ordinary people. Yet their vision of what democracy requires frequently conflicts with what majorities believe and how they choose to live.

Add to this the progressive belief that human beings can be perfected through the rule of experts, and you have a recipe—when the people make choices contrary to progressive dictates—for generating contempt among the experts for the people whose interests they claim to alone represent.

And not just contempt, but even disgust at diversity of opinion, which from the progressive’s perspective distracts the people from the policies demanded by impartial reason."

As Johhny Cochran would say..."If the shoe fits...wear it".

"A second possibility is that he is simply not up to the task by virtue of his lack of experience and a character defect that might not have been so debilitating at some other time in history.

Those of us who were bewitched by his eloquence on the campaign trail chose to ignore some disquieting aspects of his biography: that he had accomplished very little before he ran for president, having never run a business or a state; that he had a singularly unremarkable career as a law professor, publishing nothing in 12 years at the University of Chicago other than an autobiography; and that, before joining the United States Senate, he had voted “present” (instead of “yea” or “nay”) 130 times, sometimes dodging difficult issues."

The "majic" has turned into a horror show...and we were warned.

And today is the day that Hawaii is supposed to turn over his "birth" certificate and compare it to what he has released.

Truly... I am constantly comforted by the words of the late, greatest President Ronald Reagan:

"Each generation goes further than the generation preceding it because it stands on the shoulders of that generation. You will have opportunities beyond anything we've ever known."

I hope this generation exercises its options and lives up to its responsibilities, as President Reagan believed so deeply it would.

It's even easier when the preceding generation is on their knees!

I don't understand why the GOP continues to be so 'nice' and lukewarm when it comes to pointing out all the left has done to this country!

Z said...

Fair Witness; I'm not too crazy about this generation's potential to support the next generation's feet! We're leaving the next generation in such debt, too........and voted to continue doing so with this horrid debt ceiling bill.

Brooke...it's almost like the Right's in on the destruction!

The only person making any economic sense to me these days is the much-maligned-often-ridiculed Ron Paul. Suddenly - or so it seems - the "gold rush" of the last decade no longer looks like the strategy of a nutty doomsayer.

Now, contrast the above with "the other side", if you will:

S&P, some of the same people who, arguably, created much of the recent housing debacle with their highly inaccurate opinions of sub-prime-laced investment strategies, downgrades the U.S. credit standing in an unprecedented historical move.

Suddenly, this is followed by a strong response from the most successful investor in America who bellows, "Scr*w them! America deserves a Quad-A rating!"

But of course the guy owns a large share in another ratings agency that only slightly downgraded the U.S. So how much can we trust him?

Today, ironically, the stock market, shows strength in U.S. treasuries (as well precious metals), despite these "historic" downgrades from two "reputable", "objective" ratings agencies.

In the midst of all this, Dems blame the stubbornness of the Tea Party. The GOP blames the Dems' out-of-control spending. But if I may paraphrase an anonymous commenter I read somewhere on the Web recently, "If both parties are so 'anti-debt', why do we continue to mount so much debt?"

At any rate, when the smoke clears, it's usually Ron Paul who gets the "crazy" label.

Heck, maybe he IS a little off. But what does that make everybody else?

Z said...

net, most Conservatives don't admire Paul much mostly because of his isolationism but I'm seeing more and more of us starting to think he's not wrong...today.
His financial advice/surmisals, etc., haven't been far off, have they.

I am never worried when the Left does crazy spending; with a media this in the bag for their side, all they have to do is give stuff away and they'll get elected;
I do worry that the Republicans are nearly as bad these days. Are they worried about the vote? Do they realize entitlement babies want more entitlements?

ALTHOUGH< I will say that NOvember 2010's Republican wins speak loudly that MAYBE AMericans are not paying much attention to the mainstream media? I hope they're waking up.

WHat sense does it make, when your credit card's max'd to think calling the CC company and asking for a raised limit will HELP YOU in the long run?
Meanwhile, Obama wants to build a high speed train when Amtrak's broke and being subsidized? What the..........??
Let's do those nice little things PRIVATELY so we don't have more government jobs, and let's do them when we CAN AFFORD THEM.

and PLEASE, CAN WE START MAKING IT EASIER FOR MANUFACTURERS IN THIS COUNTRY TO GET BUSY AGAIN? THIS is the biggest problem our country is facing:

MADE IN CHINA
MADE IN TAIWAN
MADE IN SYRIA (I saw the other day)
MADE IN INDONESIA

hardly ONE MADE IN AMERICA

At some point the left and obama are going to have to take responsibility for the mess they've created.

The public are tired of him blaming Bush while the democrats held both houses for at least 4 years. He's the president, his watch, he screwed up. Time to pack up and leave before making it even worse.

Z said...

MK: they'll NEVER EVER admit this last 2 1/2 years are THEIR work..NEVER

Even Romney says the economy has not gotten worse. Americans are a people of quick gratification. They want problems fixed within weeks. Well, Bush dug us a big hole and it's gonna take time to get out of this. Obama's stimulus prevented a depression. He has created more jobs in 2 years than Bush did in 8 years. Give the White House back to the GOP and they will hand the government over to corporations (more than they already have) and the middle class with be finished.

And this video is filled with lies.

And fuck you for not posting this, lol!

I'm leaving this post up so people can see your character, Bd. Good job. Real CLASS.

I really don't see what the big deal is. If the left truly thought we were terrorists all we have to do is kill a few hundred leftists and they'll do anything for us including blaming their own for running inside jobs.
