"....animosity against my mother's race"? WHAT, Obama?

In Obama's Own Words
from his own books....

This guy wants to be our President and control our government. He also talks about unifying everyone. Does this sound like one who really wants to unify? Pay close attention to the last comment.

From Dreams of My Father:

-'I ceased to advertise my mother's race at the age of 12 or 13, when I began to suspect that by doing so I was ingratiating myself to whites.'
-'I found a solace in nursing a pervasive sense of grievance and animosity against my mothers race.'
-'There was something about him that made me wary, a little too sure of himself, maybe. And white.'
-'It remained necessary to prove which side you were on, to show your loyalty to the black masses, to strike out and name names.'
-'I never emulate white men and brown men whose fates didn't speak to my own. It was into my father's image, the black man, son of Africa , that I'd packed all the attributes I sought in myself, the attributes of Martin and Malcolm, DuBois and Mandela.' (Z: Pardon me, but anybody seen what's happened to South Africa since Mandela originally came back on the scene? Oh, that's right, our media's not telling you it's following in Zimbabwe's steps. Got to see the European media for the truth. Our left doesn't want you to know that.)

From Audacity of Hope:

-'I will stand with the Muslims should the political winds shift in an ugly direction.'

As some see it, there only two types of people who would vote for someone who would adhere to this mental attitude.

#1 Total idiots
#2 Fools

And the Bible warns against calling anyone a Fool. So - - - - -- - You figure it out.
A May 21st update which will just MAKE YOUR DAY God help us all. And OH, is this going to be a loooooooooooooooooooooooong Summer and early Fall, huh?

Thanks, Imp!

Hence the divide in the Democratic Party right now. The total idiots are slightly behind the fools in delegate counts for the nomination.

At last, the truth begins to flesh out. Little by little, the great black hope becomes known as the fraud he is.

How sad that such a man is the first black person to have a real run at the Presidency. He is a racist of the first order.

He turned his back on his own mother because he didn't want to be seen as ingratiating himself to whites.

However, he must have discovered that in order to succeed, he would intentionally ingratiate himself, at the same time feeling animosity towards them.

Yes he would run above the issue of race, when everything he did beforehand was about race.

Purposefully, he set out to ingratiate himself to the black community to begin his rise to prominence. If he had to renounce his mother, he would. In effect he exploited the black community as well.

Now, what I want to know is, who groomed and tutored him in the art of doublespeak. Where did he derive his financial backing to move so far so fast?

For one to appear seemingly from nowhere, a backbencher in the Senate, to Presidential nominee?

One thing's for sure, what you see, is not always what you get.

Obama also believes that the Muslim call to prayer is "one of the most beautiful sounds on earth." For someone who claims to be a Christian, that's a mighty odd statement.

I think it is instructive to note that Obama’s largest support comes from the “college educated, upper middle-class” sector of society. This demographic suggests some truth to the claim some people are making about how our colleges and universities are firmly in the hands of liberal socialists, communists, and anarchists. No truly astute individual would ever support Barack Obama; no one who values American history or tradition could possibly think that Obama can be good for our security or our economy. Anyone who understands how blacks have been economically enslaved by the Democratic agenda — the grand dependency, as it were can imagine that he truly cares about absorbing the “poor and disenfranchised” into the mainstream. Honestly, it makes me sick to my stomach. While I do not share the optimism of my friend Beamish, I do hope he is right.

Beamish and Mustang: check this out:

These are people who think OBAMA KNOW MORE ABOUT THE ECONOMY! From WHAT?, managing his allowance?

And, of course, Mustang, our media will spin that "college educated voters" to mean "those enlightened few who really UNDERSTAND what we need". I'm not sure my nerves will hold up till November. I swear!

Anonymous said...

The poll found Obama was seen as a better steward of the economy than McCain, leading 48 percent to 39 percent. McCain led Obama by 3 points last month on an issue that is certain to be crucial in their campaign.

Of course, this only demonstrates that morons continue to be our most abundant natural resource.

I'm like you Z — I pine for a system like that of Great Britain where the whole shebang is over in 30 days. It is getting to the point where I don't even want to watch the news; for one thing, nothing is new; it borders on "cruel and unusual punishment." If we exposed Gitmo prisoners to this nonsense day after day, the Human Rights Watch organization would scream bloody murder.

So rested he by the Tumtum tree,

One, two! One, two! And through and through

He left it dead, and with its head

I think a bomb is going to fall in June.

There's rumor, from the Hillary camp, that videos exist of Barack Obama sitting in on one of Jeremiah Wright's hate speeches / sermons he claimed he never heard, doing the "amen" thing, and even one of Michelle Obama railing against "whitey" from the pulpit itself.

I still believe there's no way the DemoKKKratic Party will nominate a black man as a Presidential candidate.

Looks to me like Hillary's going to pull it off, and make it look like Obama's fault.

From FreeThinke

Here's a real zinger from CATHOLIC EXCHANGE

(Longish, but worth the effort)

The Beginning of the Gospel of Barack Obama, the Son of God (According to Mark Shea)

Posted By Mark Shea On May 21, 2008 @ 12:00 am

In Mark Shea, Today

1:1 As it is written in the AP Manual, “Behold, I send my press corps before thy face, who shall prepare thy way”. And so it came to pass that pundits went forth into all that country, preaching a vote of repentance for the forgiveness of sins. And lo, these pundits spake by the Spirit of the Age, going into all their towns and cities and declaring:

1:2 “He is not operating on the same plane as ordinary politicians . . . [he is] the agent of transformation in an age of revolution, as a figure uniquely qualified to open the door to the 21st century.” - [1] Gary Hart

1:3 “Barack Obama is our collective representation of our purest hopes, our highest visions and our deepest knowings . . . He’s our product out of the all-knowing quantum field of intelligence.” - [2] Eve Konstantine

1:4 “This is bigger than Kennedy . . . This is the New Testament.” “I felt this thrill going up my leg. I mean, I don’t have that too often. No, seriously. It’s a dramatic event.” - [3] Chris [4] Matthews

1:5 “[Obama is] creative imagination which coupled with brilliance equals wisdom . . . [He is] the man for this time.” - [5] Toni Morrison

1:6 “Obama’s finest speeches do not excite. They do not inform. They don’t even really inspire. They elevate. . . . He is not the Word made flesh, but the triumph of word over flesh . . . Obama is, at his best, able to call us back to our highest selves.” - [6] Ezra Klein

1:7 “Obama has the capacity to summon heroic forces from the spiritual depths of ordinary citizens and to unleash therefrom a symphonic chorus of unique creative acts whose common purpose is to tame the soul and alleviate the great challenges facing mankind.” - [7] Gerald Campbell

1:8 “We’re here to evolve to a higher plane . . . he is an evolved leader . . . [he] has an ear for eloquence and a Tongue dipped in the Unvarnished Truth.” - [8] Oprah Winfrey

1:9 “I would characterize the Senate race as being a race where Obama was, let’s say, blessed and highly favored. That’s not routine. There’s something else going on. I think that Obama, his election to the Senate, was divinely ordered . . . I know that that was God’s plan.” - [9] Bill Rush

1:10 Therefore did the multitudes go out to Obama in the wilderness of Iowa, Alaska, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Carolina, and Utah. And seeing the crowds, he went up on the mountain, and when he sat down his disciples came to him. And he opened his mouth and taught them, saying:

1:11 Blessed are those who Believe. For they shall say, “Yes We Can!”

1:12 Blessed are those who say, “Yes We Can!”, for they shall audaciously Hope.

1:13 Blessed are those who Hope, for they shall speak of Change.

1:14 Blessed are those who speak of Change, for they shall Get Fired Up.

1:15 Blessed are those who Get Fired Up, for they shall be baptized with the Spirit of the Age.

1:16 Blessed are those who [10] hunger and thirst during long rallies, for they shall drink the waters of Evian and I shall not lose my photo op.

1:17 Blessed are we. For we are the ones we have been waiting for. We are the Change that we seek.

1:18 Blessed are you, when men shall question you, and ask specifics, and seek all manner of policy detail for clarity’s sake. Rejoice, and be exceedingly glad: for so persecuted they the vague-minded which were before you. They shall drag you before TV cameras and microphones, and ask all manner of questions about specifics and you shall give testimony to me before the [11] kings of the earth. But he that remains vague until the end shall receive a great reward in the Administration that is come.

1:19 And behold, great multitudes from Idaho, Alabama, Alaska, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Georgia, Illinois, Kansas, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Minnesota, Missouri, Virginia, and Washington followed him, and more than ever believers were added to Obama, multitudes both of men and women, so that when he came by they might at least [12] touch the hem of his garment.

1:20 And the All Knowing Quantum Field of Intelligence did extraordinary miracles by the hands of Obama, so that [13] handkerchiefs were carried away from his body to the worshippers, and spirits of cynicism came out of them and they were found dressed and in their left minds.

1:21 [14] Many who heard him were astonished, saying, “Where did this man get all this? What is this wisdom given to him?”

1:22 And they were amazed at him. For he went throughout the land, [15] preaching new wine for new wineskins and the multitudes came to him in [16] prayer and supplication.

1:23 Therefore did his disciples proclaim: [17] “If any one thirst, let him come to Obama and drink. He who believes in Obama, as the scripture has said, ‘Out of his heart shall flow rivers of living water.’” [18] He is the Chosen One consubstantial with the Father and the Paraclete.

1:24 For Obama is our [19] peace, who has made the two Americas one, and has broken down the dividing wall of hostility. Now, speaking in vague generalities, we are to grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Obama, from whom the [20] one big organism, joined and knit together by every joint with which it is supplied, when each part is working properly, makes bodily growth and upbuilds itself in love of him.

1:25 And behold, there appeared a great wonder in the heavens, [21] a woman clothed in stylish raiment, with Jimmy Choo heels under her feet and necklace of 12 beads around her neck, interceding for the faithful.

1:26 And there appeared another wonder in heaven: Behold! A great dragon in a pantsuit. And her tail drew the third part of the superdelegates, and did cast them into four star restaurants to schmooze them.

1:27 And there was war in heaven: Blessed Michelle fought against the dragon; that old serpent, called Rodham, and Clinton, which deceiveth the whole electorate.

1:28 There were signs in the [22] Sun and [23] moon, and Blessed Michelle appeared unto millions on televisions, iPods, and streaming computers warning that the consummation of all things was at hand and saying “[24] He that is whole needeth not the physician, but he that is sick. Thy broken hearts are restless till they rest in Obama.”

1:29 And behold the Good News spread and multiplied, so that [25] the monks of Clooney came to him and declared, “Master! I will follow you wherever you go!” and a sister of the Halle Name went before him, making straight his path, lest at any time Obama dash his foot against a paper cup.

1:30 And on the third day, he rose in the polls.

1:31 And the dragon was [26] exceeding wroth, and went to make war on the remnant of uncommitted delegates. But though [27] she struck at his heel, he [28] crushed her head.

1:32 For lo, all that was written by the pundits must be fulfilled, for it was necessary that Obama go from race to race and glory to glory, for he is with us always! He is the Alpha and the [29] Omega of American History, who was and who is and who is to come. [30] For the Metaphysical Force is with him.

1:33 Amen! Marana tha! Come, Lord Obama! The Spirit of the Age and the Brights say, “Come!” Even so, come, Lord Obama! And we shall have no God but Caesar!”

Rampaging Kenyan Mob Burns 15 Women to Death on Witchcraft Suspicions

A rampaging mob in western Kenya burnt 15 women accused of witchcraft to death, a local official and villagers told AFP Wednesday.

"This is unacceptable. People must not take the law into their own hands simply because they suspected someone," said Mwangi Ngunyi, the head of Nyamaiya district. "We will hunt the suspects down," he added.

The gang of about 100 people moved from house to house late Tuesday, tied up their victims and set them ablaze, the official said.

Ngunyi added that the mob also torched 50 houses in Nyakeo village, located some 300 kilometres (180 miles) northwest of the capital Nairobi.

"I can't believe my wife of many years would be killed so brutally by people who cannot prove their case even before God," said Enoch Obiero, a pastor.

"My mother has always been a role model to the entire village and why the mob had to kill her will remain a mystery to me forever," lamented 32-year-old Emily Monari.

The region, populated mainly by the Kisii tribe, has been dubbed Kenya's "sorcery belt" due to mob attacks on women suspected of witchcraft.

Efforts by the authorities to clamp down on vigilante and mob justice have been unsuccessful.

Dozens of suspected people were killed in western Kenya in the 1990s, amid allegations of sorcery.

Several cases were also reported in recent months in neighbouring Tanzania, forcing President Jakaya Kikwete to order special protection for albino, who were being murdered and mutilated for good luck by with-doctors.

That's why the first A.A. or woman president will be conservatives (unless it's worse than I thought out there).

Z, don't sweat the polls this early in the game. Remember that Mondale, Dukakis, and Kerry thought they were enjoying strong support andhad a good shot right up to November 7, as indicated by the polls (and loudly cheered by the MSM).

I don't think the polls indicated that Mondale would lose in a landslide.

Granted, the red & blue divide wasn't as tight as it is today, and polling is more accurate (the pollsters were right on when they called the Bush-Gore horse race a "dead heat" for a week or three leading into 11/7), so they can't be ignored.

Also, despite a great bio (which is getting swiftboated as we speak by the very crowd that decried "swiftboating"), Mac has charisma deficits as compared to Reagan and W (who enjoyed the largest turn out of free voters in the history of democracy in '04, a record you never hear about), while Obama is a "rock star" (even though I can't think of any rock star who I would want to lead this country).

Nevertheless, as more time goes by, the real Obama will become more and more apparent (as already evident), turning off the center while making McCain look positively conservative (if only by comparison) to the right, so McCain should be alright.

But I really can't say for sure...

Freedomnow, I think Incognito's right in suggesting it took Wright dumping Obama before Obama REALLY dumped him. It's like a sick daddy/son type of situation, isn't it? You know, of course, my favorite irony is that Wright is apparently building a multi million dollar home now in a 'white gated community'. Oh, the irony and hypocrisy of the left.

BOY, FT..is THAT an awful story!

just remember, Z, that 'awful story" JUST happened in KENYA–––the land of Obama's FATHER.

1) SAVAGERY in his parenthood

2) SAVAGE, LYING anti-Americanism in his CHURCH

3) A loud-mouthed, ungrateful WIFE who openly DESPISES America

5) A history as a COMMUNIST agitator (That's what a "community organizer" is–––a COMMUNIST agitator–––nothing more, nothing less)

6) The MOST "Liberal" (read Marxist there) voting record in the senate.

That's at least SIX STRIKES against OBAMA. I thought it only took THREE to knock a player out.

Ideal candidates don't exist. Politics is the art of ever having to compromise with the Devil. It is a dangerous game to say the least.

We must not make the same mistake the Jews made when they expected their Messiah to provide them with enough temporal power to CRUSH and DESTROY all the enemies of Israel, so that israel could at last reign supreme among all other nations.

Instead, the Messiah came to show us the need to crush and destroy the EGO, learn humility and give up pride, learn the healing and strengthening power of Love and Forgiveness, and to understand that "The last shall be first, and the First shall be last."

Me must learn to conquer OURSELVES before we could hope to persuade anyone of the rectitude of our aims and desires.

FT...politics certainly is getting dangerous for this country. It's like they're dividing us TO conquer us, while islam licks its chops like the spider and the fly. If a spider had chops, that is!

Okay, I was just scared, now I'm terrified and quite frankly ticked!

None of his chanting masses have a clue about anything...not ONE. The ONLY hope, it seems, at this point is that their ADD will kick in before November and they'll forget about it, be too bored or they'll think "I already voted for him, dude, in the spring, duh?" We can always HOPE they really are as DUMB as they appear to be...that actually ought to bode in our favor...

Bill Cosby on Rev. Wright

Article from Wall Street Journal:

Rev.Wright epitomizes the thoughts and actions that have prevented and continue to prevent black America from moving ahead and achieving their potential as a people. He suggests that this United States of America made up of sons and daughters of immigrants (I'm talking of the millions of 1st, 2nd, 3rd generation immigrants in this country) of every race, creed, color and religion each and everyone of them who had nothing to do with slavery, some how owe something to a group of people who have never been slaves? Its amazing. It seems everyone is to blame for the shambles black society is in with its violence, drugs, high school drop out rates, misogyny, and a host of other real and virulent problems, except for the very people who engage in such behavior.

Enough. As a society, culture or people, they should look within themselves and fix their problems.

When did this man become the spokesman for the 'black church'? And of course his church is different, but that doesn't mean his message and philosophy is acceptable, or productive or non-offensive or not-racist or indicative or our greater cultural behaviors, values and norms Americans.

And yes, the link between this man and Obama really does matter. At a very minimum, it provides insight into the political and philosophical strain that Obama adheres to.

Those words of Cosby's are shocking as, sadly, when he's on Larry King, he ALWAYS reverts to "it's because of the Whites". I was so disappointed the first time I heard him say that AFTER having heard him say things more positive like this Wall St Journal thing.
Thanks for posting this.

I will stand with the Muslims should the political winds shift in an ugly direction.

Nope. That's not what he wrote. Here's the *correct* quote. He was talking about legal citizens who are being discriminated against because of their Arab or Pakistani descent.

Whenever I appear before immigrant audiences, I can count on some good-natured ribbing from my staff after my speech; according to them, my remarks always follow a three-part structure: "I am your friend," "[Fill in the home country] has been a cradle of civilization," and "You embody the American dream." They're right, my message is simple, for what I've come to understand is that my mere presence before these newly minted Americans serves notice that they matter, that they are voters critical to my success and full-fledged citizens deserving of respect. "Of course, not all my conversations in immigrant communities follow this easy pattern. In the wake of 9/11, my meetings with Arab and Pakistani Americans, for example, have a more urgent quality, for the stories of detentions and FBI questioning and hard stares from neighbors have shaken their sense of security and belonging. They have been reminded that the history of immigration in this country has a dark underbelly; they need specific assurances that their citizenship really means something, that America has learned the right lessons from the Japanese internments during World War II, and that I will stand with them should the political winds shift in an ugly direction." [Page 260-261] (Bold emphasis mine.)

I found a solace in nursing a pervasive sense of grievance and animosity against my mother's race.

That's not in the book. It's a fabrication. (Show me the exact page number where it exists and I'll read it myself and concede I'm wrong.)

Here's a good place where you can see the full quotes:

Of course, you *could* actually read the books and see for yourself if he said such things and if so, what the context was.
