I don't know. Some birds are pretty dumb so it might.

It probably won't scare the birds, but it'll probably make some of the passengers feel a bit safer....

I had a bird hit my windshield once. I tried getting him off with the windshield wipers and he got stuck and smeary all over the glass. I had to pull over and clean it off with a stick. It looks really bad when you take your kid to baseball practice with blood on the windshield.
