Proof that we're still stuck in that ditch.

If that's all it takes to get that traffic, I think I'll steal it.

Ed, isn't that WILD? I couldn't figure it out, then all I did was click on the individual URLs which had the same post name on them, and voila....some blog with the unfortunate name of SMALL DEAD ANIMALS had linked to me.
How the linker found it is beyond me, since this was LAST YEAR :-) Must have just been Googling around and found me/and the picture.

SF, isn't it terrific!?

And yes, Virburnum; good point...it's only become worse since then, hasn't it.
But the left will try to delude.

Hey Z I am almost half way done with the book and it is everything you said. I am finding I am laughing out loud as well.

Lisa, I AM SO GLAD! Isn't he a terrific writer? SO funny, but not slapstick at all..just such clever barbs at liberals.
VERY glad you're enjoying DON'T MESS WITH TRAVIS! xx

The liberal barbs are really so true . I love how he does those one liners that really expose how they are,you can doing nothing but laugh.

Lisa said...

yes very clever and spot on . It's like you want to high five him every time something is familiar.

Z a couple of posts ago you asked me If I got your e-mail but no I never did.

That is WEIRD, Lisa.
How's your mom doing?

Lisa said...

She's doing fabulous thanks you for asking. My work load has lessened.
She's back to exercising and making her own breakfast and lunch. I always do dinner anyway.
She was even going to get a cortisone shot in her hip before her foot got infected and go to physical therapy . Now that she is better the physical therapist had given her excersizes to do at home which she's ben doing and they really helped so not she decided she doesn't want or need the shot.

If a site like SDA links to you, a lot of traffic will come snooping. Once, a big conservative blog linked to mine and I got about 4,000 hits in one day. Then they erased the link.

About the book, Don't Mess With Travis...

I bought the Kindle version. It is well written and entertaining. I am glad I read it. It is one of those stories that you are ready for a sequel when you finish it.

Question for Bob ...

Why Kindle vs. Nook? Is the system good for foreign travel/voltage?

Z said...

Bob, that happened to me, too...I thought my sitemeter'd gone mad!
As for the book, I am SO glad you liked it and you can see Lisa's enjoying it, too.
Viburnum read it even before I did and liked it very much.

I laughed a LOT and adored the ending!

That was my thought as well. We need to petition Bob Smiley for a "Travis for President" campaign. ;-)

I'm in the middle of it too on my Nook Glow. Pretty good reading. Looks like you started a book club, Z.

Great question. Long before we bought our first Kindle, I was using the Kindle application on laptop computers to read books while traveling. It was a natural thing to buy a regular Kindle for my wife to preserve our existing library of Kindle books on Amazon.

Last year, I requested a Kindle Fire for Christmas simply because of the dozens of books we already had in our library.

However, if I would have done the correct research, I would have known that the Nook was a better buy because of certain features. I liked the idea of the SD card add on memory, although it is not needed on the Fire.

Even at that, I am sure that I could have accessed my Amazon library on the Nook. Today, I would not hesitate to get the Nook.

Yeah. He writes a good story, and the Travis turner was a real page turner. I love stuff like that.
