The surviving brother is saying THIS............they're mad because of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Couldn't be a better tool for the left, right?
Who didn't see this coming?
What a nightmare; how the left's going to be blaming us again. And again. And again. again.

I read that Tom Brokaw had said the same thing on last Sunday's edition of Meet the Press.
This is why it is a GREAT pity the dirty little son-of-a-bîtch was not SHOT DEAD immediately after he was apprehended.
These "technical" Americans who invade us from the Middle East and Pakistan are NOT true Americans no matter WHAT "legal" requirements they may have craftily with malice in their hearts fulfilled.
Middle Easterners in our midst are nothing more than TICKING TIME BOMBS. We can NOT afford to have them here. PERIOD!
No....terrorist bombers hate us becasue they 'hate our freedom,'not the becasue of the policies and atrocities we've committed on their homelands for decades.
And then as if on cue, Lester the Liberal girlman steps in as exhibit A for what a tool so many in this country are...
I wonder if they hated us for all the Welfare and public assistance we gave him.
His dingdong convert wife sure bought it all hook, line and sinker. She's out busting her hump for this POS while he sits on his ass at home.
How does that fit in with your little theory, Lester?
And another thing, Lester Liberalman the dimwad, their "homelands" are Chechnya. How many troops did we deploy there? How many bombs did we drop?
You are such an ignorant tool, a willing patsy. They learned to mouth that crap because it works so well on America-hating liberals like you.
Z - Nobody's blaming you for this.
We are all in this together.
As far as I am concerned, pack em up and ship em out.
And Mayor Bloomberg wants America to surender and admit the terrorist have won so he and his ilk can have their police state.
No....terrorist bombers hate us becasue they 'hate our freedom,'not the becasue of the policies and atrocities we've committed on their homelands for decades.
Who knew that we Americans were responsible for what the Russians did to Chechnya...?
Non sequitur, much Libbyman?
Libmann's comments are immediately deleted unless they're immediately made to look like the drivel they are... so his stays today. ..at least this one .
Thanks, Silverfiddle and Speedy.
Right, Silverfiddle...we've been helping these people, we give the young one citizenship, we bungled the fact that the elder of the two HAD been a person of interest to our cops for years...and they hate us?
Bunkerville...seems like it, doesn't it.
Sue, thanks...we're all in this together, yes, and I'm not taking personal blame, but when America gets blamed by a monster like this kid, I do take it personally.
I read a story some time back about a Chinese woman who was walking down a rural lane in the dead of winter when she stumbled upon a Cobra that was frozen stiff. Feeling sorry for the creature, she took it home, warmed it up and nursed the reptile back to health. And when its health had been restored, the woman reached down to pick it up and it bit her. “Why, after all I’ve done for you have you repaid my kindness by biting me?” she demanded.
The cobra replied, “You knew what I was when you picked me up.”
So perhaps in some way, we are at fault. Back in Chechnya, these scoundrels do not have the kind of freedoms that allow them to do such horrendous things. Here, we gave them money and left them alone to pursue their own agenda. And meanwhile, the Imams in Boston preach their hate and inform their congregations to “take up the gun.” They are not held accountable for this; in fact, enabling politicians reward them further.
We knew what these people were capable of when we granted them visas to live among us.
BY the way...OFF SUBJECT:
ANOTHER shooting today in Illinois? Has anybody noticed that since GUNS became the subject of the day for this WH, there have been shootings nearly every other day????
SAM...are our Feds still prohibited from going into mosques undercover to listen and make sure violence isn't being preached inside?
In a nation of well over 300 million people, I think murder is somewhat routine. But I think the press has decided to double-down on the shootings, giving them maximum exposure to further their anti-gun agenda. We won’t be hearing quite so much about the knifings and bludgeoning. And also, since the press is increasing stories about shootings, they’ll have to axe the stories about abortion doctors. There’s only so much space on the print media.
You addressed your question to Sam, but may I answer? I think the FBI can place mosques under surveillance if there is probable cause to do so, but from a practical standpoint, there is only so many agents. And then when your president reduces the FBI’s budget, there aren’t enough agents to do all the tasks demanded of them.
I can hear Clinton railing now: What difference will it make?
Psssst, get on the job, z.
They were on welfare.
Z - I should have made myself clear - by 'you' I meant the Right.
Not you personally.
I sense a softening in the media for the suspect - which I do not like. Too many lives were affected by his actions and he has to be held accountable.
CNN keeps broadcasting pictures of Moron #2 when he was in the Sixth Grade.
No one saw that coming ...
Reflexively blaming atrocities such as this, on our foreign policy adventures and misadventures, is intellectually dishonest by these criminals.
But on the flip-side, it's naive to think that certain foreign policy actions aren't going to produce blowback by people looking to be radicalized.
I heartily concur with CI's comment.
My response to the cawing boobies and nuthatches reflexively squacking "BLOW BACK BLOWBACK!" is "yeah, no $#!t."
Life is full of action and reaction. Nothing happens in a vacuum.
It's called Karma, Silver.
Action, reaction. There's no way out.
Of course, the qualities of the action help determine the qualities of the reaction.
Right now the Abrahamic religions are full of seriously bad karma and show all signs of persisting.
They had scholarships for college, taxpayer funded meals, $900 shoes, driving expensive cars etc etc.... apparently what they learned in tie heart of liberal Massachusetts is to not only hate America but they were supporters of Obama too.
As sad as it is I think Boston reaped what it sowed
I know the whole faith love hope thing really throws you off duhkkky.
Elmo, you get that from Rush?
The guy brought a Mercedes junker (no bumper even) to that storage lot on Webster between Union and Inman squares.
Now, there is no way the attendant on duty knows a legitimate pair of Louis Vuitton's from pair of knockoffs.
But Boston deserves what it got.
I can't figure out if this is a display of your advanced intellect or profound Christian witness.
Powerful statement, Elmo.
Whats your point duhkkky, you don't like being blamed for something you didn't cause? Now you know how we Feel...
That's the point....with your brilliant intellect you cant see that this is what you've been saying to me and my fellow Americans? You truly are an idiot
Irony got you down Socrates?
You and your fellow Americans?
Does that include Bostonians, Elmo?
Anyway, I forgot to say that you wouldn't know a pair of $900 shoes from knockoffs either.
But you'll burp whatever Rush tells you to.
What no apology for blaming conservatives, Christians et al?
@Mustang:
"Moron #2 when he was in the Sixth Grade."
Of course they would, rather then current pics that show him clearly at the bomb site.
It worked for these POS when they made Travon... St. Skittles rather than the gold capped, hoodie wearing, burglar and drug dealer...that he really was.
Elmo, I have been pretty consistent saying wait until the facts are in and also stating that this pathology is much closer to the mass shooters of late.
I believe that any understanding we can achieve will come from studying that angle.
Meanwhile, Christians have offered nothing and as far as I am concerned, you are what you do. In the case of the religious right that means you join the monkeys in the zoo rubbing shit in your hair.
Boston deserved what it got. You clown.
My Rev. Wright argument was an illustration of your asinine comments. Comprende?
Elmo, the younger brother owns an inexpensive Honda.
Same Honda that was found in Watertown and the same Honda the younger brother and a pal were in when they were arrested for an open container violation.
Now you seem to be working an 0-2 count here. Want to go for the strikeout?
Lol! Hey duncy you still don't get it? My remark wasn't serious it was meant as an example of your blame everyone but the true perpetrators game. It was a tactic to illustrate your comments amd their effects. You off your mess today? Just wondering.
By your reaction I'd say I hit a homerun
DON'T BLAME AMERICA. BLAME BOSTON.
You really don't read anyone's comments do you?
Does that include Bostonians, Elmo?
Of course it does.
How about the South? or the Tea Party?
Shall I remind you of your provincial comments concerning the South?
You didn't study rhetoric or logic while you were earning that Industrial Design degree? Odd.
I guess the free meals, education, faux Louis Vuittons, and the jingoistic love of America taught at the left wing madrassas we call universities, wasn't enough to endear them to the US.
Elbro: you're so right. No problem blaming Christians for anything that comes down the pike (Tiring to hear Christianity used as a dirty word, by the way, by the way, which our hideous secular leftwingers are using...even those who pose as christians/catholics)...but DO NOT BLAME A PUNK FROM RUSSIA FOR KILLING AND MAIMING INNOCENT PEOPLE...
who CARES why he did it? Is it okay to be ANGRY that people were killed? Is it okay to be angry that we are supporting people like this?
The rub is we support nutty people of all ethnicities. ...every color, every everything.
We can't make people be nice.
That's why stricter gun control cannot work. period.
We can't make people care about this country because we've become a dirty doormat by this time; no respect because we've weakened ourselves in every way.
We just keep giving and being hated.
UGh..I'm rambling and making myself MAD :-)
Question for you all:
Does anybody know if the Feds can go into mosques in America yet? They were prohibited by Muslims who said that because they weren't Muslims they couldn't go inside and listen to what an Imam is saying. Obviously, that should change.
Remember, over there the war areas, our soldiers were being shot at from mosques but the instructions from our idiot generals was that you can't shoot back because the place is so holy.
Nothing to do with my question, really, but ..in a way.
Has that changed here in America? Because there's a group of Americans who go into churches and turn them into the IRS if there's the slightest scent of supporting one political side. That is, if it's not Hillary or John Kerry posing from pulpits, of course. They can.
We can't.
Ducky, you are not capable of seeing the Big Picture! The Islamists, with their ongoing jihad, have the ultimate goal of a global Caliphate.
That has been their goal for many years. So, get real. We did nothing to invite their wrath before 9-11.
They consider us the great Satan, and now, we have an administration which cow tows and softens our rhetoric, as if the Islamists respect that.
It is an invitation to attacks. Weakness and political correctness on our part, only invites more of the same.
The one thing they do grudgingly respect, is strength, and toughness, of which we now demonstrate neither.
So, for some reason, there are some, like you, who refuse to believe it's entirely probable, that the older brother went to Chechnya for training, and orders, to carry out an attack here.
The administration here dropped the ball, rather than listen to a warning from Russia which in itself has suffered attacks from the Chechnyan terrorists!
But, as usual Ducky, you look to find an excuse for these Jihadists, as if that changes anything.
It's the old bait and switch you use every time. Who cares about welfare, or an inexpensive Honda? Give me a break!
We can't make people care about this country because we've become a dirty doormat by this time; no respect because we've weakened ourselves in every way.
We just keep giving and being hated.
You're right Z. We gave till it hurt with these two brothers...and they still s*it on us. Our generosity is met with contempt.
The administration here dropped the ball, rather than listen to a warning from Russia which in itself has suffered attacks from the Chechnyan terrorists!
and today we learn it wasn't just once we were warned by the Russians.
Z,
I'm bored to death with the SOS whenever we are attacked by people who make no bones about admitting their actions and on the contrary openly claim credit. They are further abetted by their apologists in this country who mainly consist of arm chair terrorists who get some vicarious thrill from the actions of people who are entirely evil while they themselves lack the balls to take action and would never actually do anything that would put themselves in harm's way.
These pansies are sickening, gutless fakes. I loathe these sideline wanderers and their gutless cheerleading. Wear your Che t-shirts, excuse their truly evil actions, and, above all blame America. It's cool and you'll get the affirmation you really crave.
In reality, you just suck.
Ducky, you are not capable of seeing the Big Picture! The Islamists, with their ongoing jihad, have the ultimate goal of a global Caliphate.
------
Pris, do you remember the United Arab Republic?
How long did that last, a few years. Two Arab nations couldn't hold it together and you're talking about the caliphate?
Ever watched Lawrence of Arabia? Middle Easterners really loved the caliphate first time 'round, right?
Come on, Pris, buy a vowel and quit the street corner preaching.
http://www.washingtonpost.com/world/national-security/officials-boston-suspect-had-no-firearm-when-barrage-of-bullets-hit-hiding-place/2013/04/24/376fc8a0-ad18-11e2-a8b9-2a63d75b5459_story.html?wpisrc=al_national
and now will we be sued by the family which will make millions off of this?
You see, it doesn't matter what our law enforcement people were faced with; the murderer comes first.
We're in such trouble, folks.
My God, Ducky, you don't understand "ultimate goal"? Think Pris meant next year on April 2?
Do you get your history from Lawrence of Arabia?
Law and Order; take a look at my latest link; THAT is disturbing for law enforcement. The lib pansy lawyers might win this one.
The kid'll be rich and living on his own desert island. If there's a mosque there, anyway.
Nevermind the fact that the left wing has more in common with the Taliban and al Queda, witness Italys Red Army's overtures to Islamic extremists.
Right, because Peter O'toole is a good indicator of how successful the Jihadis can be
Z - "Remember, over there the war areas, our soldiers were being shot at from mosques but the instructions from our idiot generals was that you can't shoot back because the place is so holy."
That's not remotely true.
Don't try to correct them, CI, the Beck is strong in them.
Straw man duhkkky
CI not remotely true? Huh
http://www.discoverthenetworks.org/viewSubCategory.asp?id=721
"CI not remotely true? Huh"
Nope. Not per MNC-I OPORDs and published ROE.
BCT Commanders at times, declined a request to enter a Mosque, but policy did not unequivocally prohibit the action....and at no time were US Forces prohibited from self defense, as noted in Z's comment.
Even Julian Assange would disagree with you CI
http://wikileaks.org/wiki/Rules_stop_US_entering_mosques
"Even Julian Assange would disagree with you CI"
Nope. It reinforces what I just said, and refutes Z's comment.
Wikileaks posted the ROEs which restrict attacks on mosques until permission etc was received from Iraqis....
Now you said it wasn't remotely true.
WASHINGTON, Feb. 4 (UPI) -- The U.S. military's rules of engagement in Iraq in the fall of 2005 forbade troops from entering mosques, even during a firefight, without the permission of senior commanders who would consult Iraqi authorities. ....In a special section on mosques and religious structures, the rules specify that -- though commanders on the ground may return fire, or even call in airstrikes, against a mosque that is being used by enemy forces -- U.S. troops will not enter such buildings, even during fighting, "without the approval of the (senior regional commander) in coordination with (the Iraqi ministries of defense and interior)."
In at least one case these rules resulted in tens of mosques being bombed, forcing the government because it was so large scale to declare a day of mourning.
Allow me to refresh your memory.
Z - "Remember, over there the war areas, our soldiers were being shot at from mosques but the instructions from our idiot generals was that you can't shoot back because the place is so holy."
Your link from UPI states "In a special section on mosques and religious structures, the rules specify that -- though commanders on the ground may return fire, or even call in airstrikes, against a mosque that is being used by enemy forces -- U.S. troops will not enter such buildings, even during fighting, "without the approval of the (senior regional commander) in coordination with (the Iraqi ministries of defense and interior)."
There's no disconnect in what I stated. Per MNC-I, the authority to use force was not limited by a hostile act originating from a Mosque.
BCT Commanders at times, declined a request to enter a Mosque, but policy did not unequivocally prohibit the action....
this isn't what you said...you said it wasn't remotely true
I'll help you with your reading skills
The U.S. military's rules of engagement in Iraq in the fall of 2005 forbade troops from entering mosques, even during a firefight, without the permission of senior commanders who would consult Iraqi authorities. ..
Yep. Stating that US forces 'COULD NOT RETURN FIRE' on a Mosque....was just that. Not remotely true.
The Boston bombing was predictable, but we never connected the dots. Once again, big government has made mistakes that cost us lives.
Those that say US policy has caused what happened are partially right. Yep. We have allied ourselves with Israel, and our culture is not like the normal Arab tenth-century, narrow-minded way of life. We believe people have rights, and that women are people. This is not the Muslim approach to life.
Ducky says karma has something to do with what happened. Karma is a superstition, and what happened was caused by irrational hate from the Muslim world. Not all Muslims want to kill us, but they almost all hate us. Get used to it.
No. Boston did not deserve what it got in terms of the killed and injured, nor in the way of Federal Government protections.
Karma is a cruel banker...never gives the term or how much you owe.
Const. Insurg....you're very sure of yourself, but you're dead wrong....this has been known for about 10 years: From an article in Huff Post: "The three directives are that airstrikes must be authorized and very limited but can be used in self-defense if troops' lives are at risk; troops must be accompanied by Afghan forces before they enter residences; and troops cannot go into or fire upon mosques or other religious sites, though this is already U.S. policy."
Did some of you hear BOB BECKEL suggest we need to close immigration to all muslim students for two years so we can get a handle on the fifteen thousand missing muslim kids who came to go to school and never did...and are lost somewhere in the States...and the 75,000 others who did enter the colleges they were going to?
I couldn't believe it..Bob BECKEL showing wisdom and toughness? He thought all Chinese students should be banned, too "they come here, get really smart, then hack us!"
Man...has hell frozen over? :-)
I'm very sure of myself because at no time has MNC-I or ISAF ever issued any Rules of Engagement directive that has prohibited US or Coalition forces from returning fire, if fire originates from a Mosque.
If you were originally referring to kinetic TARGETING of a Mosque....that's a different paradigm altogether.
We have attached a lot of mosques after being fired on
Attacked
Political leaders, local, state, and federal law authorities, as well as intellectuals and media figures have already made an unspoken trade-off: Rather than encroach in a limited fashion on the rights of Muslim Americans, all Americans must forfeit some of their liberties.
Lock down Boston. Send SWAT teams into the streets. Use bomb-sniffing dogs. Spend tens of billions of dollars taking naked pictures of air travelers and searching grandmothers at airports.
But whatever you do, don’t gather intelligence on the guy who trolls jihadist websites and then takes a six-month-long vacation in Dagestan.
Islamic terror is not a fact of life, nor is it an existential threat to the United States. It’s a vicious ideology that should be equally offensive to men, women, Jews, Christians, and Muslims, and to politicians and commentators on the right and the left.
The true existential threat to America comes not from Islamic terror but from our own inability to think and speak clearly about the threats that we face. By abridging the rights of all Americans in order to avoid politically unpleasant images we are inflicting greater damage on our society than any group of Islamist terrorists could ever dream of doing on their own.
Z,
"I couldn't believe it..Bob BECKEL showing wisdom and toughness?"
Swear to God, I couldn't believe it either and some ot the other things he has said, of late. I know that he is being paid to be antithetical to common sense and the rational views of the others on "The Five" but it's almost like even HE has a threshold where he must recognize reality!
I heard Beckel last night. A stunner!
I wonder....Does he personally know someone injured in the jihad attack on the Boston Marathon?
Elbro: Excellent takedown of Darkwing Duck, but going after Constitutional Insurgent was a bridge too far. He's been there, as have I (although unlike him, I was in the rear with the gear).
And why did the Lefty Bloggers rush to say that the Boston Police had hints of a right-wing terrorist attack rather than an al Qaida-inspired extremist?
And right after Dr. Carson gave that brilliant speech, the lefties called him an Uncle Tom!
In the eyes of these liberal bloggers, Obama just CAN’T do anything wrong? Can’t a Liberal criticize Obama for anything
And for their (the Lefties) information ? Boston Marathon bombing. Was done by MUSLIMS. Duh! This did not take rocket science.
And with the Boston Bombing, the Benghazi Attack, The situation in North Korea, the situation in Iran, and in Syria, Kerry giving Millions to Egypt, we are talking about Obama’s Daughters “Possibly” getting Tattoos when they are older. Are you freaking kidding me? There are more important things in my life than if Malia or Sasha gets a tattoo or if Barack and Michelle get one too. Keep this kind of crap away from national news consumption! Obviously, we do not have an adult in that White House!
Just TRY to imagine for a moment what the press would be saying about the President if George Bush were in office!
It́s just pathetic what these people have reduced this country to.
"Never argue with stupid people, they will drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience." ~ Mark Twain -
I was there too SF. But you're right
If it was strictly about winning and losing - sometimes, as with CI, I lose - but I always learn something. I don't mind losing.
