The Inauguration and the Media

There is an EXCELLENT and comprehensive piece at LA Sunsett's blog on the media and the inauguration. We need to fix the media, folks. There's something so much more than dishonest going on. Thanks, LA....very important post.

Thanks for the link, Z. If you thought that post was a sad one, today's would be hilarious if it wasn't so sad.

This is a time to dress up and put on the dog?

These are the same people who have screeched :'Worst economic malaise since Herbert Hoover!"
Yet now we can take what ever is left in the US treasury and party like it's 1999?

No way is Obama going to make good on his so called campaign wish list .

"Open" private letters to his daughters? Oh please, just like that "prviate" prayer he left at the Wailing Wall.

Biggest phoney to hit the US I don't know when.

Mercy, But I do worry for my country.

Anyone who is out chanting for party time, big fashion events at D.C. does not have the country's interests at heart.

LA...you're so welcome.
Saw your piece today just now...it's very good, and very sad, indeed.

WVDOTTR: Good one! Yes, very much like the WAILING WALL PRIVATE PRAYER!! The only things Obama does in private are talk to Blagojevich, apparently!

The private prayer was just that.

It was taken and revealed by a jew who said it was okay since the prayer didn't count because Obama is not jewish.

How does the fault lie with Obama?

What a bunch of spoil sports.

Let's not have a good time and a little celebration.

You sound like a bunch of Puritans.

No, Ducky, it wasn't.

Re: the inauguration...I could just imagine what you on the left would say if this were a Republican president and they were planning on spending 4 times what Bush spent! Hilarious.

Ducky, a little celebration?
$110,000,000, exemplifies a little celebration?

Kick up your heels Ducky, celebrate, but, don't tell us you need 110 million dollars to do it.

You can't come on here and tell us we have to look out for citizens who are suffering because of the recession, and then get in their faces and say, "hey deal with it, I deserve to be irresponsible, and to flaunt my success at your expense, I'm Barack Obama"!

Haven't you noticed that Obama has this need for grandiosity? For worship from the people? He has a need for thousands to surround him and adore him. I find this to be common among leaders in the world who use and abuse their people, and it's very troubling.

He's not a monarch, he's a President. The problem is, I'm not sure what he thinks he is.

The coronation will put Stalin's parades, Hitler's "Reichsparteitage" and African Dictator's coronations to shame. And the worst part is that it appears to be paid for by bribery, which brings us back to third world country behavior.

And then the country will wake up with "Monday Morning Blues" (aka hangover) when it sees what comes afterward. This will be a day for reflection, not celebration. We have to think about how to minimize the damage His Majesty King Obama I. can do to this country after coronation.

Be real great if we could fix the media folks, i doubt that enough out there even realize the MSM needs fixing.
