I guess I'm really getting in the know, because I was just reading the story of his winning.

Congrats Mr. Steele.

Blessings.

Oh Geeze Z! I am SO embarrassed! I just re-read my post about Michael Steele's win and saw where I had used Saul Alinski's last name instead of Saul Anuzis!! I have corrected it. I feel awful!

Wasn't it Steele that was on the "short list" for VP?

A very smart move for Republicans. Democrats, of course, will say that Michael Steele is not REALLY a black man.

You did know, didn't you that real black men and women can ONLY be Democrats?

Once a black becomes a Republican he becomes white s far as the D'Rats are concerned and invisible to what-the-media-thinks-of-as the black community.

I'm not sure about much that the GOP does these days.

We shall see how he does.

Mr.Steele needs a bit of coaching as to original intent -of the Constitution that is...Hint-the Second Amendment was not added for the sake of hunting...
I'll wait a bit before I get excited...

I don't know Mr. Steele's bona fides, but I have seen him on TV many times and he seems clean and articulate. He also seems much more on the ball than the less-than-marvelous Mel Martinez.

As a member of the GOP, I wish Mr. Steele all the luck in the world.

I love this development. Steele was a great choice who will energize the party. I thought he would have been a good choice for VP and posted on it at the time. He'll do well.
