Presidential Luncheon....WHY?

All living Presidents had lunch
. I can't help it. I'm writing what comes to my mind and I know some of you won't like it.... Tell me better comments...This could be FUN!

Sr. Bush: "Ya, Jeb's chompin' at the bit, Barack! Look out in 20012...we're IN!"

Jr. Bush: "They blame EVERYTHING on ME, Bill, and you skated by with Monica as a smoke screen....Man, it's TOUGH to be president when you don't own the media, believe me."

Clinton: "I am the King...I am TEFLON, or I WAS until Barack came on the horizon, there is no space material slick enough to describe THAT guy!! George..cheer up. Do you KNOW how much money I've made since my presidency was over? Man, get over to Saudi Arabia NOW and cut some deals. They tell you what to say and you get paid, TRY it!? And, you travel First Class, on them. Listen, it's the best gig going."

Carter: "Yes, I admit it. I hate Israel and I DO wish it would disappear. I'm a really good guy, though...why won't ANYBODY talk to me?"

Obama: To himself: 'I DID it. I'm HERE. But, man, I had NO idea the intel would be this brutal. There really IS terrorism? WHO KNEW? Wait till Ayers gets a load of THIS picture. I made the big time, pal, when you comin' by?'

Obama to Sr. Bush: "The Trilateral Commission and the Bilderberg Group? WHAT? You KIDDING? ONE WORLD WHAT?"

Ya. Now it's your turn!

Well, it's the GHOST of Teddy R, but it SURE works for ME!

That's another fascinating idea...what past presidents might have to say to these men. Thanks, BZ!

But, I really hope some of you stick to the contemporary, too!

Haha - it does look like Carter is not part of the 'in crowd'. Maybe they have ostracized him for the damage caused by the Community Reinvestment Act.

Everyone to Carter: "We're all taking a hit from that one, buddy,"

Carter: "But it sounded like a good id.."

Bush Jr: "Shut it Jimmy. I'm having to deal with the brunt of that piece of crap legislation!"

Obama: "And I'll have to ..."

Bush Jr.: "You shut it, too Barack. Why don't you bring in your buddies from Fannie and Freddie to help solve the problem? Oh yeah, they were part of the problem!"

Clinton: "Are we done here guys? I got our waitress from lunch waiting for me back at my hotel."

I believe this is tradition.

Tradition? It's been almost 30 years since all living presidents got together when there wasn't a funeral. This is an out of the ordinary event.

Bush Sr. to Obama, "you want to go skydiving with me? heh, heh."

Obama to Bush Sr. "Can you tell by looking at me I'm in over my head?"

Bush Sr. "Just keep smiling, and try to dump that deer in the headlights look!"

Bush Jr. to Clinton, "at least they won't have to scrub those stains out of this Oval office rug."

Bill to Bush, "Yeah, I told Barack to use my Hilton penthouse like I should have done, but only when I'm out of town."

Carter, "I'll just stand here and pretend I'm President. I did it once before, from 1976 to 1980."

These are internal thoughts during the meeting

Obama: I have to thank Kennedy and Johnson for starting that whole affirmative action thing

Bush Jr: Truman's approval rating was what when he left office?

Carter: I wouldn't be letting Israel get away with this if I were still President

Clinton: Let's see, I was leaning against this desk...

Bush Sr: I can't believe this idiot beat me

Z said...

OH, ALL OF THESE ARE SOOOO GOOD!

Ducky: Loosen up. Do you ever loosen up!?

Thanks SO much for these.......just great!

So, keep going ... I'm dying to read more!

COME ON, you guys! WE HAVE A COUNTRY TO SAVE!

Come to think of it...I'll bet my last comment is NOT what anybody said at that luncheon.

Here is my take on the picture:

Bush Jr to Bill: Think he looks scared now, wait till he is sitting here alone.

Bill to Bush Jr: Who cares! Hey, have you decided what you are going to do next?

Barrack to Bush Sr: Will you tell them to talk to me?

Bush Sr to Barrack: No. Your going to have to work that one out for yourself.

Carter thinking to himself: I liked the old picture that was on that wall better.

This luncheon took place because W is a classy man. Carter should be sent to the front lines in the middle east.

There has been several articles that state this was Obama's idea and President Bush agreed and hosted the lundeon.

http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/americas/7815707.stm

It is a nice thing for President Bush to do, not only for Obama, but for our nation.

A certain term or two I heard in the Army comes to mind, but I won't repeat them here... Feel free to email me if you're curious. ;)

I'll bet all the other Prezes were wondering why the chicken was rubbery.

Elaborate, pretentious exercises in supreme HYPOCRISY are the sum and substance of POLITICS. This luncheon was nothing more or less than a CHARADE.

Maybe it oughtn't to be that way, but it IS. Anyone who doesn't think so is NAIVE.

There's a lot of SHOW BIZ in politics and always has been.

Is it just me or does BO look like some little kid who has to go to the bathroom and is holding it for the family photos. Either that or Forrest Gump when he drank too many Dr. Peppers in the Oval Office.

I'll bet his knees are knocking now that he's seen those intelligence reports and has proof that there really are bad people out in the real world.

Law School professor and ahem, community organizer are probably looking pretty good right now.

Z said...

Law and ORder..it's usually only Beamish and Mustang who make me laugh out loud. This did it for me..thanks! hilarious! Yes, he looks exactly like that.

'shele..thanks for coming by...I didn't know Obama'd requested this. hmmm Maybe it was all about "What the HELL do I DO NOW?" Ya think!? HA!!

Brooke..I emailed you!

FT...too true: Ann's a way better writer!

Grandma J..welcome!

I like the way you got Carter by himself. If only he'd just go quietly into history.

DaBlade said...

Carter is kind of off to the side, ain't he? I imagine him to be mumbling incoherently, like a bum on the street corner overheard arguing with himself (and losing).

Or maybe this?:

"shrimp is the fruit of the sea. You can barbecue it, boil it, broil it, bake it, saute it. Dey's uh, shrimp-kabobs, shrimp creole, shrimp gumbo. Pan fried, deep fried, stir-fried. There's pineapple shrimp, lemon shrimp, coconut shrimp, pepper shrimp, shrimp soup, shrimp stew, shrimp salad, shrimp and potatoes, shrimp burger, shrimp sandwich. That- that's about it." (thanks Gump)

My question is, if this was a luncheon for live presidents, what is Carter doing there?

Karen Townsend said...

Yeah, I did a post on this. It came out that Obama requested that he and Bush meet again this month before the inauguration, after the meeting in December. Bush upped the ante and said he'd invite all the living former presidents, too.

Again, nothing but class from Bush. That's why he continues to baffle the haters. And Carter? He should never be allowed anywhere near the White House again after his slanderous behavior around the world these past 8 years. He deserved to look like the short, old guy on the far end of the group that no one was talking to.

Z said...

MK..if only he'd never been a part of history!

Karen, that is classy.

DaBlade...SO funny...

Mustang...GOOD POINT! He really is so pathetic.

I.H.S. said...

I struggled with this but here it goes...

Jimmy to himself- "I wonder if they can smell that it was me?"

Carter is way off to the LEFT side (stage left, of course), which is EXACTLY where he belongs.

And isn't it the height of irony that Jimmy Carter [JC! What a hideously inappropriate set of initials!] was the most aggressive candidate in our history in presenting himself as a GOOD Christian?

Doubtless in the labyrinth of his own bizarre, provincial mind he still imagines that to be the case.

What he more closely represents is a severe case of Self-Righteousness --- another term for Vanity or Ego-centrism.

But why pick on poor Jimmy? The whole lot are a motley crew at best, if you ask me.

~ FreeThinke

Z said...

FT..thanks. The whole lot are a motley crew,no doubt...but Carter's worse; Nothing matters but peace and understanding. "peace;love;dove"...groovy, cool...kumbaya.
I wonder if anybody EVER asked "What if the enemy doesn't want peace? What if understanding is what they're hoping from from you...appeasing them might not help, ever thought of that?"

I.H.S....VERY funnY!!

Why is a dollar better than the St. Louis Rams?

You can get four quarters out of a dollar.

Z said...

Beamish..you could get 4 quarters out of the Rams when they were in LA.

But, other than that, I have NO idea what your comment means :-)

Bush Sr. to Obama: Hey there Junior!

Obama: Man this office is going to look great when it's black and red.

Bush Jr. to Clinton: Right there?

Clinton to Bush Jr.: Here there and everywhere!

Carter: Where the hell am I?
