Behind the Sleaze

According to the Washington Times, ten disgustingly rich people came up with the money that paid for the infamous Soptic Ad accusing Romney as contributing to the death of Joe Soptic’s wife. Z and I wonder how much of that $12.55 million went into Joe Soptic's pockets.

Who are these swine?

Jeffrey Katzenberg, CEO Dreamworks;
Irwin Mark Jacobs, founder Qualcomm;
Fred Eychaner, political activist;
Barbara Stiefel, philanthropist;
Steve Mostyn, trial lawyer;
Amy Goldman, daughter of the late New York City real estate mogul Sol Goldman;
Kareem Ahmed, CEO of Landmark Medical Management;
Bill Maher, TV host and comedian;
Franklin Haney, real estate developer;
Morgan Freeman, actor.

Do these people have freedom of speech? Yes, of course. They do not have a right to slander anyone. And you know —there are consequences to free speech.

Personally, I think I’ve watched my last Dreamworks film, and my last film staring Morgan Freeman. Bill Maher is a misogynist piece of crap and I never watched any of his televised filth.

How do you see it?

Not a surprise of a list, is it?

As for Morgan Freeman, I'm not sure that he has done anything of worth lately in filmdom. I can't say for sure as I'm not into "the new movies."

Dreamworks is pretty easy to boycott, Spielberg is involved with it. I always boycott junk films.

“Cameron isn’t evil, he’s not an asshole like Spielberg. He wants to be the new De Mille. Unfortunately, he can’t direct his way out of a bag"
-Jacques Rivette

As for the ad being slander, that idea wouldn't get anywhere in first year law school. But do get ready for one nasty campaign. Relax, it isn't going to make any difference which one of these corporatist pimps wins. Nothing worth bursting a vessel over.

Why do people like Question Man think it is appropriate to visit blogs and write about subjects that have nothing to do with the topic?

How left wingishly ugly of them!

Morgan Freeman has dropped to the bottom of my favorite actors list. He used to be way up there.

I'm sure he cries all the way to the bank over my opinion.

Z: I like the new thing you're doing, inserting absurd liberal comments from "The Question Man," it's kinda like those little comic cartoon panels magazines insert in the middle of serious commentary.

Math? The math has progressive statist programs racking up more debt, so yeah, lets have more of the liberal same!

Insanity: Doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result.

Michael Savage is right: Liberalism is a mental disorder.

This is a really great subject and I see some really great comments. Lucky me that I unintentionally or should I say accidently found your website. The remark from that “Question Man” really got my motor running full speed. His and the other comments made by these “Progressive” bloggers belong in the back yard Septic Pit with the rest of the sludge.
That leftist creep Morgan Freeman actually accused the “Tea Party”, and thereby the entire Republican Party of Racism. Another desperate charge from the desperate left who charge the Republicans with everything they can throw at them to that has echoed throughout the Neo Liberal Establishment. I’m thinking that Morgan Freeman has some serious skeletons in his closet.
This Tax return scandal of Harry Reid’s is another way for the Democrats to change the subject, from Obama’s failures and Fast and Furious, and “The Muslim brotherhood”! By the way, have you noticed how the Muslim brotherhood has begun to get rid of the military personnel in Egypt who were "aligned" with United State's interests?
With the new Romney/Ryan ticket we have a Dream ticket, we have a Pro American ticket vs. a Marxist, unqualified, inept ticket. I am really enthused over the Paul Ryan choice. It was inspiring to hear Ryan invoke nature and God as authors of our rights, not Government
I can't wait for the debates to begin. Once we clean out the filth that reeks in the White House now and if Mitt Romney is gets the next eight years in the White House, and Paul Ryan gets the next eight after him, we are all but guaranteed to get America back on track again..

AOW, no it isn't. Morgan Freeman is a disappointment, actually. Not because he's a racist Democrat ... but because I thought he was smarter than that.

We almost agree, Ducky, until you arrive at your legal analysis. I do agree your leftist cronies have done more damage to themselves than they did to Romney. For me, it’s the cheesiness of the whole thing … both sides contribute.

Question Man —fess up! Are you really Harry Reid? I'm only asking because I didn't think there could be two people in 330 million as dumb as that. Thanks for stopping by; I certainly did learn something today.

Liberalmann, our contacts at MSNBC have indicated that Rachel is having an incestuous relationship with the Question Man. Is there any way you can confirm this?

Joe, I think it’s all part of the work-release program. Question man, having been convicted of voter fraud, is trying to redeem himself in society. He voted for Stuart Smalley.

Paul Ryan came out swinging: 'If you have a small business, you did build that'!

Mitt Romney is a leader with the skills, the background and the character that our country needs at a crucial time in its history. Following four years of failed leadership, the hopes of our country, which have inspired the world, are growing dim; and they need someone to revive them. Governor Romney is the man for this moment; and he and I share one commitment: we will restore the dreams and greatness of this country.

Excellent choice Mitt. You can tell a lot about this man by the people he has around him. Romney is confident enough and secure enough with himself that he can pick the best and brightest. Obama on the other hand must pick those that can't outshine him and are driven by his socialist ideology.

I looked again at Mustang's title and thought "Are we EVER going to get behind the sleaze?"
I think not.

Thankfully, Ryan's Medicare facts are becoming known and that will help. As a matter of fact, as I said yesterday, I think that the media can't diss him anymore by ignoring the plans the Republicans HAVE come up with "The Republicans have NO PLANS" while the Dems, during a Dem cong and House, never had A BUDGET! The irony never stops, does it.

The scare is nuts....people think, because of the leftwing media, that "RYAN, like Beamish, would STOP ANY ASSISTANCE YESTERDAY if he could, when HE HIMSELF supposedly got help from SS for college because his dad died when he was 15"

Another thing lefties don't grasp is they keep coming to my blog here and accusing the Right of wanting to HURT THE MIDDLE CLASS. Do they think I'M MILLIONAIRE? (not even CLOSE)...
I'm a WOMAN..would I suppport a party of people who'd hurt women?
Am I really a racist because I disagree with Obama but would vote for Alan West yesterday if I could?
This is the kind of thinking I don't quite grasp from the lefties.

Ducky...just read your comment: it's not all about YOU. We know you don't go to feel-good American films, it hurts your ethos or something. and God forbid you'd PAY MONEY to a CORPORATION who made that filM!!
WHY DO YOU PERSIST IN IGNORING THE POINT OF THE POST?
You'll slam the KOCH BROTHERS TILL YOUR LAST BREATH, but NO PROBLEM with the left throwing money around. NO PROBLEM ignoring SOROS.. NO OOOO PROBLEM.

THIS Is the point of my partner Mustang's post.......HYPOCRISY and EXPOSURE.

Isn't it funny that the rich lefties seem to be acceptable but if one is conservative and rich, somehow, that's a no no.

But then, the far left rich folks have always subscribed to a double standard, and love to create hate through class warfare, while laughing all the way to the bank!

It's hard to believe these people can sleep at night, and are so content with lies, and monumental hypocrisy!
It's obvious that to them, the ends justify the means, even if their means, is spreading hate. How sad!

Anonymous said...

Z,
Most of rich leftists are basically brain dead. The fact that one has money certainly doesn't ensure intelligence. However, these people do us all a favor by going public. As Twain said, It is better to be thought an idiot, than to open one's mouth and remove all doubt.

Maher and his ilk need to be speak out frequently and publicly. Please!

Unknown said...

I know several people who I would classify as “very wealthy.” They are responsible human beings. They have businesses, which mean they hire people, they buy inventory from other companies, they pay more than their “fair share” in taxes. They give to charities. They contribute to scholarship programs. They are high school boosters. The offer their time to work at food distribution centers. And because they are conservatives, they don’t broadcast to everyone much about their philanthropy.

These are the people Obama’s talking about whenever he does his class warfare and race baiting routine. It is an interesting contrast what Maher does with his money. Give me a break! Damn progressive nitwits.

Anonymous said...

The mere fact Maher can't accept that people have faith and that he treats them so poorly shows what a douchebag, a-hole he is. It's one thing to disagree with one's believes, but if the person is a good person and doesn't bother anybody, you can only be a despicable POS when you bully and ridicule people this way. Deep down his life must be pretty miserable despite the money.

Yes, the three-year old Tea Party movement is responsible for the decades of degradation within the black community, according to Carson and other members of the CBC.

Who knew it was the Tea Party doing all those drive-bys in black neighborhoods, and robbing black folks. Here I thought it was black thugs and gang members.

Who knew it was the evil Tea Party who foreclosed on black homeowners, or that the Tea Party set up all those substandard government schools in black neighborhoods.

Apparently America’s police are loaded with Tea Party members, and the cops are out to get black people. Prior to the Tea Party, there we NO black people in prison. Over the last three years, the Tea Party cops have begun rounding up black people and wrongfully incarcerating them.

Rita said...

The left's problem is that they cannot have a logical counter-argument to the Ayn Rand. They ignorantly try to claim that those of us who found Atlas Shrugged to be eerily familiar means that we have to agree with her stance on religion and abortion.

It's not even a good weak argument, but those that have nothing else to argue use that.

Every time I read a leftist making that claim, I know they are really desperate at this point.

Like the biggest lie of 2011, where Obama endorses ads of throwing granny off the cliff and yet they complain that Ryan had social security after his father died. They cannot see the dichotomy of that lie.

I have yet to see a good leftist argument FOR Obama anymore.

They are desperate.

And I'm GLAD.

It was incredible enough when, just a few years ago, Americans voted the immoral Socialist Bill Clinton into office, and got two for the price of one as his militantly leftist wife Hillary wore the pants and wielded the power. Incredible as that was to even contemplate at the time, they then proceeded to do it again, four years later! So it must be remembered that a nation that could be so deceived as to put Clinton into the White House, not once but twice, was already, back then, a long way along the road to Socialism. And now we have Obama, an outright racist radical Marxist. who not only has all but destroyed American in his first term, but the idiots on the left want to give him another 4 years to complete the job.. Obama is totally in favor of open US borders, with virtually no restrictions on either legal or illegal immigration! And he himself wrote, in his book Audacity of Hope, “I will stand with the Muslims should the political winds shift in an ugly direction.”
Then there’s Michelle Obama, Barack’s wife, who, in her senior thesis at Princeton University, declared that the USA was founded on “crime and hatred” and that whites in the US were “ineradicably racist”. Hmmm...the same whites who made it possible for blacks like her to go to Princeton in the first place.
Barack Obama hangs out with Communists, terrorists, and racist thugs. As they say, a man is known by the company he keeps.
