Take a minute.....you will be charmed by this, I promise.
This is dedicated to my Marcello, who left me in December of 2002 but was the best cat anybody EVER had, including his sister, Musetta...the cat in this video couldn't look more like Marcello, it's amazing....and to Mr. Z who learned to love them both, and they, he.

Wow, I've never seen anything like it! How sweet this is!
Isn't it SO sweet, Pris?
I love when the dolphins all come back and then start 'humming', too....as if they're all speaking something...to the cat!?
I can't tell you how much that cat looks like my soul-mate cat, Marcello...astonishing. How I miss that boy!
Dolphins are SO amazing!
Dolphins are fantastic. Back in the day when you could make a living at it a buddy had a commercial boat out of Orleans.
I'd go out with him and help pull traps. Sometimes you'd run into dolphins, throw them a tennis ball and they would poke it back into the boat.
Ducky, I think those dolphins were just trying to hit you in the head with those tennis balls.
(JUST KIDDING! :-)
Yes, totally charming. Love the way pictures on the internet have made us aware of relationships between different animals, showing curiosity, affection, trust, devotion even.
Sue..If you see this at all, I just responded to your comment I hadn't seen until tonight. You know where it is. xx
Marcello looks so much like our Sheba, whom we lost in December 2008. She was Mr. AOW's "heart cat."
All that head bumping in the video is a sign of great affection with felines.
My unit in the Navy used dolphins as mine hunters. I can tell you that that platoon was really popular with girlfriends and wives. Ask the gusy who work with them and they'll tell you the novelty wears off when you come home smelling like fish every day.
I think that kitty was trying to score a fresh seafood dinner. ;)
No, that was cool. And sorry about your kitty; it's a shame that such good animals have such short spans.
My late husband and I had a domestic short haired tabby cat named J.R. (as in Dallas' Ewing) We lived in Texas and he was a scrappy cat. Alas, he died just 10 days after my hubby did. It's as if the hubby took the cat with him.
AOW, my Marcello was my 'heart cat'...I like the way you put that.
we 'got' each other...he was the best.
FairWitness, Marcello died suddenly 10 days after our return from 4 years in Paris (Of course, we'd been back several times during that 4 years but were gone a LOT..it was horrid being away from them)...I believe he waited for me.
Nice one Z. Good find.
