How I long to recline in a field of flowers! After I have Zyrtek in my system, that is.

I remember doing things like that when I was younger. Now, all I can think of when I see pictures like this, is "Ticks and chiggers!"

Chiggers! I had a terrible time with those! Advice: nail polish remover.

Mmmmmm. Pollen allergens and parasitic insects!

The latest video game Play Outside 3 doesn't have those hassles.

So cool!

When I was growing up, I would lie like that for a long time, watching ships sail by, seeing beautiful castles, cities, a variety of animals...all clouds, of course, but what a wonderful experience...thanks, for stirring the memories,Z.

I think we could all benefit from doing a little of that now, don't you?

Even this post elicited negative stuff??! And I can see why if you are allergic to pollen or bugs!
I really hoped it would do something else.

THanks, Jan and Pris...that's why I have no post today. I need a break.
Am much more seriously considering taking a long one from blogging; I think the Lord's showing me it's time.

I love this photo Z. I laid in my front yard this week under my favorite sycamore tree and listened to it creak and groan to me as the wind blew through the branches.

Life is short.

Jen, you have such a way with words...I was right there with you!
Yes, life is very short...xxx

By the way, I think our country might be the only one where nothing really stopped for Good Friday.
Most countries are 'closed' that day...in Germany everything is and even discos have to turn the music down and dancing must stop at midnight...I thought that was very respectful and even moving.
And we like to call Europe the 'Godless' area.

I'd enjoy the great outdoors more if some of that global warming would happen here.

60 degrees and wetter than dog nose around here, not counting the crazy tornadoes. Mud pies, anyone?

Oh, I didn't read Jan's comment.
:-)
Such a great thing to do, at any age.

I like to cloud-watch with my four year old daughter. She has an amazing imagination that I envy and admire.

Jen, she got that amazing mind from YOU, I know that for certain!

And you AND Jan and every mentally healthy person's laid on the ground and looked up at the trees and sky, or SHOULD!
makes me want to go do that now...or run through a field and right into Mr. Z. Boy, do I wish I could do THAT.

Much love to you, Z. (((hugs))))
