"I KNOW WHO I AM! THOSE CONSERVATIVES AND DEMOCRATS WHO DON'T BELIEVE MY BIRTH CERTIFICATE ARE DOPES! PAY FOR ME, YOU KNOW YOU LOVE ME!"
Very seductive, very cunning.............very good.
Would that he'd run our economy and everything else in our country so well. When you've got tons of campaign money, you can do just about anything! I wish I felt like giving him some money because I'd love to get some of these for friends just to really tick them off! But, ........not in a hundred gazillion years (hey, that's almost the deficit, isn't it?) The mugs are a donation of $15 or more..and, by the way, the ordering information says they're definitely MADE IN THE USA :-)
amazing.....

They're selling t-shirts too.
I'm waiting for him to use the song "Born in The USA," at campaign rallies. Springsteen's a big leftie so I'm sure he'd proudly let Obama use it
Sandra, I don't think so. Look at the people who have jobs...Republicans. Look at the welfare lines....
Sorry. He has just put our government and country into so much debt our great-grandchildren won't see an end to it, even if we never took on any more debt.
bd, tell that to the 47,000,000, who are standing in food stamp lines as we speak. That's up from 33,000,000.
But hey, who's counting!
Pris, I had to delete Bd, it's the same thing over and over again.
did YOU know Obama saved us from a great depression? And it makes no matter how much debt we go into?
Apparently, helping a few out now is better than losing the whole economy for our kids' future!?
there is NO THOUGHT given to Bush's economyy or the fact that Clinton's economy is still touted as so fabulous when it was the Republican Congress that saved it....... .. ...then Bush came in and Dems took Congress and NOW look what we've got ;-( But, facts have to be ignored in the liberal dream world.
Barack Obama is the President of the United States, for crying out loud. I cannot believe he goes for this crap that his people propose. This man has no class whatsoever -- I mean zip, zero, nada --- NONE!
Yeah, Obama prevented a depression in favor of the complete and utter destruction of America's entire economy and the future of the entire country. A depression we could have recovered from.
We have got to get this Destructor in Chief out of the White House. I swear I won't make it to 2012 if he keeps up with his nonsense.
"We have got to get this Destructor in Chief out of the White House."
Faced it FW...he ain't going nowhere soon enough...unless.
Probably made in China.
PAY FOR ME, YOU KNOW YOU LOVE ME!"
What the heck is that supposed to mean?
PAY FOR ME?
YOU KNOW YOU LOVE ME?
Well, we're paying, no doubt about that, and there are plenty of loony tunes out there who've been brainwashed into SOMETHING...guess they can call it LOVE if they want to.
There's a lot of irony in the Made In the USA guarantee, too...and I'm glad HE knows who he is, 'cause hardly anyone else does.
For some reason, this just reminds me of the time he giggled his way through a serious interview.
No doubt, he'll get lots of 'donations' for those goofy cups.
I didn't want to click on the title "Obama's MUG" because I can't stand staring at his mug or his MUG. Ick. When do I get a reprieve from his presidency?
Ill take two. Obama saved us from a great depression and all the wingnuts can do is complain about the spending. They'd be singing a different tune if they were in the food stamps line right now.
I think the mug is a lie. He may have been born in the USA, but he was made in Kenya.
Of course, I'm still wondering how Øbama ended up with a Connecticut social security number.
Yeah, thanks for the delete Z, I know how you hate the truth and feel you have to censor it.
The fact is Clinton gave us a record surplus, Bush gave us a record deficit and triggered a massive recession which Obama is now dealing with.
"The fact is Clinton gave us a record surplus.."
And he did so at the cost or deballing our military...which he was on the record as "loathing".
Cut defense...cut out the military? Is that what you advocate? GWB passed tax cuts which gave us damn near zero unemployment ( 4% which is all the wheelchair bound and idiots that can't work...most of the dem's entitlement parasites ) and an economy that was second to none.
Lest you forget you sniveling hypocrite...it was Klinton who passed 5 times on getting OBL....remember that...he didn't want to see us use a few cruise missiles lest he ran over budget.
Yea, that's why people are going to vote for this guy, he has a birth certificate. God thing he's not running on his accomplishments... uhh except for digging up that birth certificate.
Perhaps it was an unintential slip on your part Z but since I see this notion lauded like gospel so frequently I felt the urge to speak up.
"Would that he'd [Obama] run our economy and everything else in our country so well."
If you truly believe in free-markets, you will then know that Presidents and Washington bureaucrats don't run the economy. Now, if you believe in a command and control economy then of course it makes perfect sense.
It is amazing to me how many "conservatives" themselves do not understand this. I believe it is largely why they feel the urge to support such candidates as Trump, Romney, Cain, etc.
@Impertinent, debt is not wealth.
The government has 3 ways to raise revenue; tax, borrow, print the money.
"Cutting" taxes or "holding the line" on taxes is moot if the government is merely resorting to one or both of the other 2 options which is in fact precisely what was done.
During Clinton's tenure it was the now infamous tech stock bubble which burst.
During Bush's term it was largely housing which too is still bursting at the seams.
Lest some forget this basic premise, I offer you this:
"You and I, as individuals, can, by borrowing, live beyond our means, but for only a limited period of time. Why, then, should we think that collectively, as a nation, we're not bound by that same limitation?" - Ronald Reagan
Impertinent: Wow, you have some issues, lol! "sniveling hypocrite?' No, my nose is clean. Bush didn't kill OBL because his family had business with his family and Bush 41 was actually meeting with them the morning of 9/11.
Dan: If you get your infro from Fox, you'd never see Obama's accomplishments. There are many….and many are good for even you! Check it out: http://whattheheckhasobamadonesofar.com/
@ BD: "Bush didn't kill OBL because his family had business with his family and Bush 41 was actually meeting with them the morning of 9/11."
Where has it been written that Osama bin Laden was inside the bin Laden family fold? International business agreements and partnerships that included members of Saudi Arabia's business leaders, including bin Laden family members, doesn't prove or even suggest that President George W. Bush did not want to pursue & kill Osama bin Laden.
Is the whole bin Laden family involved in terrorism? Or are there only certain members of the family who were radicalized? As I recall, the bin Ladens are architects, building contractors and businessmen. Osama was not part of those legitimate endeavors.
Your whole premise is ridiculous. Any President of the United States, after the events and the attacks on 9/11/2001, would have done everything possible to hunt down and kill OBL. I am glad President Obama did so. But don't for one minute think President Bush wasn't pursuing that monster too. The resources created by President Bush, the decisions he made and policies he implemented led to the location of and the ultimate killing of OBL.
BD, you are not being truthful. You are twisting irrevelant historical facts into half-truths in order to continue your smear campaign against those you politically oppose. It won't work. Why? Because your ideology of socialism (or communism, if that's your preference) has failed in every nation it has been imposed on. Your way is a loser and so are you!
Bd, I delete, I don't censor.
Censoring is when someone makes excellent points that we don't want to accept. There is no one here who'd censor for that. Never have, never will.
By the way, do Kos or Movon YET accept conservative viewpoints? They didn't for years, not sure if they still do...? THAT is censorship.
Please read up on presidents and how much power they have about economies and the history of Bush and Clinton....I don't have time to do this for you every single time. (Don't go back as far as FDR,you'd be horrified to actually grasp THAT truth.. I think it might be too much for you!)
By the way, whether you think it's censorship when I now begin to delete you is of absolutely NO consequence to me! Go right ahead, call it censorship. Doesn't change a thing.
thanks.
FW, there were MANY bin Laden family members who weren't even close to this monster. He'd ticked them off and left quite early in his life.
At least one family, an attorney Bin Laden, lived and practiced law in my neighborhood in Paris; they did have to leave after that but not because anybody feared terrorism from them, everyone felt they would not be safe with the public outrage at what had happened, so they were gone very quickly, and I couldn't blame them.
Another story is the muslim family which lived across the street from ME and how they wildly celebrated that day, 9/11. It broke my heart. I really should write on it some day.
Soapster, you DO realize how BUsh tried hard to get his Congress to see what Fanny Mae was doing and STOP IT? NObody listened...he was right..........again.
Dan, you're a genius and make me laugh! Yes, VOTE FOR ME, I HAVE A BIRTH CERT>!!!!
what else CAN he run on? WILL he start printing money when they've bled our productive members of society dry and need now to support them AND all the poor and illegals?
"Is the whole bin Laden family involved in terrorism? Or are there only certain members of the family who were radicalized? As I recall, the bin Ladens are architects, building contractors and businessmen. Osama was not part of those legitimate endeavors."
The part in bold is factually incorrect on your part.
Read "Osama bin Laden" by Michael Scheurer. He served as the Chief of the Bin Laden Issue Station (aka "Alec Station"), from 1996 to 1999, the Osama bin Laden tracking unit at the Counterterrorist Center. He then worked again as Special Advisor to the Chief of the bin Laden unit from September 2001 to November 2004.
Fair enough. However, Fannie Mae and Freddy Mac were merely the symptom not the disease.
@ soapster: Michael Scheurer was on O'Reilly last night. Have you read this book? Does he state that Osama bin Laden was a part of the bin Laden family fold? Because from I've read, he was a family outcast who became radicalized during the Soviet occupation of Afghanistan. Are you saying otherwise?
I have read Scheurer's book. I'm not disputing what you are saying in your latest post. Indeed that is correct.
Earlier in his life he was involved with the bin Laden business interests and made many connections in that regard. This is confirmed in Scheurer's book.
As an aside, (perhaps aimed at Fairwitness) it is worth pausing for a moment to look objectively at the bin Laden/Al Qaeda issue.
Were Bush and others committed to capturing bin Laden and rooting out Al Qaeda then it would behoove one to question why and how it was that one of Al Qaeda's top 3 on the kill or capture (Anwar Al Awlaki) was dining with top Pentagon brass just months following 9/11?
http://www.foxnews.com/us/2010/10/20/al-qaeda-terror-leader-dined-pentagon-months/
Soap, didn't you read the whole thing? Where it says the FBI information was probably not shared with the Pentagon? ? And so many of the things this man did which became known happened after that lunch?
Anyway, was Bush at the lunch?
I'm not sure what your point it...you think the Pentagon was planning terror attacks and signing this guy up to oversee? :-)
This is a terrible indictment of what I'm beginning to think is some AWFUL intel sharing between FBI, CIA, etc.
WHen MY OWN HUSBAND knew we hadn't disabled all of Saddam's jets (Swarzkopf said they had on TV during the Gulf War and then came out an hour later apologizing, saying he'd been wrong), after having only had many business trips over a few years in Iraq some years before, you KNOW our intel STINKS.
@ soapster: In the aftermath of 9/11, the US Military and Intelligence communities did reach out to many Muslims to learn. Here is a quote from the article you linked:
"Documents exclusively obtained by Fox News, including an FBI interview conducted after the Fort Hood shooting in November 2009, state that Awlaki was taken to the Pentagon as part of the military’s outreach to the Muslim community in the immediate aftermath of the attacks.
The incident was flagged by a current Defense Department employee who came forward and told investigators she helped arrange the meeting after she saw Awlaki speak in Alexandria, Va.
*** (key line)
The employee "attended this talk and while she arrived late she recalls being impressed by this imam. He condemned Al Qaeda and the terrorist attacks. During his talk he was 'harassed' by members of the audience and suffered it well," reads one document.
****
According to the documents, obtained as part of an ongoing investigation by the specials unit "Fox News Reporting," there was a push within the Defense Department to reach out to the Muslim community."
I would expect our government to investigate the Muslim community within our nation, to ascertain who may have been complicit with or had knowledge of al Qaeda's future terrorist plots, as well as those that had already occurred on 9/11. Wouldn't you?
"I would expect our government to investigate the Muslim community within our nation, to ascertain who may have been complicit with or had knowledge of al Qaeda's future terrorist plots, as well as those that had already occurred on 9/11. Wouldn't you?"
I would expect our government to put Awlaki in the CIA payroll and use him as a patsie to help setup and coordinate false flag terror events such as the underwear bomber (who was escorted onto the plain without a passport by state dept officials), NY Times bomber, Fort Hood shooter, UPS toner cartridge bombs, etc. in an attempt to justify TSA abuses and further encroachments upon civil liberties guaranteed under the Constitution but I guess that's just me......
soapster!! You're farther off than I'd thought..
can you link about how the bomber was escorted onto the plane ? !!!
@ soapster: You think al Awlaki is a CIA patsy/operative? The Obama Administration is sending drones into Yemen attempting to kill the SOB! C'mon!
I don't buy that line! Total BS!!
I'll do better than that Z. I'll provide links attesting to virtually all of the other false flag events being connected to Awlaki. Anyone who writes it off as "kooky" or "nuts" apparently has never logged any time looking at declassified documents. Governments (ours included) do this sort of shit all the time.
Underwear bomber:

@ soapster: The CNN article points to gross incompetence, not a CIA operation.
The other article??? I find it incredible, unbelievable. NO WAY is our government deliberately placing operatives play-acting as terrorists on Christmas Day aboard international commercial aircraft. That's just insane!
The US Special Operations Command’s Able Danger program identified the hijackers and their accomplices long before 9/11, and would undoubtedly have also picked up Anwar Al Awlaki.
Awlaki

Yeah it is insane. About as insane as:
Operation ARTICHOKE and MKULTRA
Operation Gladio
Operation Northwoods (never implemented but the mere suggestion of the proposals ESPECIALLY given our current environment is truly profound)
American public health doctors deliberately injecting Guatemalans with Syphilis. http://www.nytimes.com/2010/10/02/health/research/02infect.html
"Truth is treason in the empire of lies." - Ron Paul
The information gathered during the "Able Danger" operation wasn't shared within the various federal law enforcement agencies of the Clinton Adminstration because he was trying to hide his ChiCom campaign contributions, soapster.
Yes, perhaps the intelligence learned might have led to the prevention of 9/11, perhaps not. But the Clinton Administration approach to terrorism was to treat it as a law enforcement issue, rather than acts of war. That changed with GWB's election and the events of 9/11.
I repeat, THERE IS NO WAY OUR OWN CIA & MILITARY ARE INTENTIONALLY PLACING (FAILED) BOMBERS ON COMMERCIAL AIRCRAFT OR IGNORING MILITARY ISLAMIST RADICALS WITHIN THEIR RANKS.
It is the culture of political correctness and bureaucratic incompetence.
There are huge resource dollars up for grabs in the War on Terror, I concede that. But our government doesn't need to generate the enemy's activities to keep those resources flowing, they're motivated and active on their own.
I just don't buy your conclusions and skepticism.
@ soapster: Is that the same Ron Paul who said last week that a President Ron Paul would not have given the order to take out bin Laden? I agree with some of what Ron Paul says about economic and regulations, but I am totally opposed to his views on (not) fighting terrorism.
soapster, how frustrating.
I looked at the links thinking you'd led us to site showing some conspiracy. That WE put people ON PLANES to fake terror acts..
gee, it's not there
???
Media spin. Ron Paul was asked if the bin Laden operation/raid could have been done a different way and he stated yes. Here's a clip of him clarifying the remark(s) and offering his suggestion on how:

"But our government doesn't need to generate the enemy's activities to keep those resources flowing, they're motivated and active on their own."
A guy that rents a room from my next door neighbor is retired special forces. He'd tell you that just as the CIA was running drugs in Central America in the 80's to fund their operations, so too are they now in Afghanistan doing the same thing.
In fact he told me a story of how some of his fallen comrades were to have been loaded onto a C-130 to fly home and that flight was delayed a month because on the first flight the plane was filled with cocaine.
They have their own revenue stream.
I watched the whole interview, live, soapster. Ron Paul doesn't believe we're at war with radical Islam, he thinks the policies of our own government, past & present, are directly responsible for creating the evil that is terrorism. He sees the foreign policy and military actions of our government as provocative, not defensive, not fighting injustice, not liberating. He is dead wrong.
I can't support any candidate who views our nation and the military sacrifices we've all made, as provocative. He is, in effect, making the argument that the enemies we've fought, the evils we've faced & defeated, would not have been had we done things differently. That is not so.
@ soapster: You neighbor ain't who he says he is, soapster. He's a total BSer. He's fed you a line and you've taken it.
I have someone very close to me who spent 18 years in the Middle East, under circumstances he can't and won't divulge. If your neighbor is talking about it, he's lying.
OH, MAN....FW is so right. NO special forces would EVER talk about that if it's happening.
Even if they DID see it, they would never talk about it.
Tell him, if he's so concerned and thinks so many are in on this, how they've kept it quiet :-)
Ah..I see American exceptionalism is alive an well.
In closing, I'll remind you that every Empire falls.
They'd talk about it once they'd done their time and got out and realized what a racket it is/was.
@ soapster: Nothing in the exchange you just posted between Rep. Thompson and Mr. Kennedy supports your view that US Intelligence deliberately allowed a bomb-laden terror suspect onto an international commercial flight bound for Detroit on Christmas Day. If you could comprehend what Mr. Kennedy said, he said whoever didn't want his Visa revoked had him under surveillance in order to discover his entire network. They were tracking him and following him. They didn't KNOW he had a bomb in his underpants. They were trying to find out who his contacts were here in America and abroad. C'mon!!! Read the things you post, they don't support your conclusions --- AT ALL!!!!
American exceptionalism -- you got that right!!!!
We aren't an empire, soapster.
We're a Republic of generous, industrious, magnanimous citizens. The United States of America makes the world a better place because of who and what we are. If you don't believe that, then you don't understand squat about our country.
If you truly believe all that drivel you just spewed then you should vote for Obama in 2012. He espouses your values too.
Drivel? That's your opinion, pal.
Obama may spout it, but his policies and agenda don't bear it out.
In any case, I won't be voting for Obama ... or Ron Paul.
"Obama may spout it, but his policies and agenda don't bear it out."
His policies are nothing more than an exacerbation of G.W. Bush's second term (and more specifically the second half of his second term).
#twosidessamecoin
Obama's policies and agenda aren't even remotely like those of GWB. Yes, he signed the Bush Tax Cut extension --- HE HAD NO CHOICE.
Yes he had maintained the Bush Terrorism Policies and used the resources GWB implemented, again --- HE HAD NO CHOICE.
All the Czars, all the Executive Orders, the radical activists chairing & running the various Cabinet posts and departments? ObamaCare, Porkulus? Get real!
Porkulus? Oh...you mean like TARP?
You just might be a sheeple.

Jan! that PAY FOR ME YOU LOVE ME was my line...what I imagine Obama saying !
soapster...LEW ROCKWELL, what a SHOCK :-)
What values do YOU have, soapster, because if you think America's greatness as FW so well described will stay great with people exposing every little time we stand up for OURSELVES, you're sadly mistaken.
That's a kind of naivitee that Obama voters have.
Jan! that PAY FOR ME YOU LOVE ME was my line...what I imagine Obama saying !
NOW, you tell me! :)
Well, they probably WOULD have used it, if only they'd thought of it!
I'm just surprised they didn't use this statement from one of his speeches:
June 4, 2008
"This was the moment when the rise of the oceans began to slow and our planet began to heal."
Jan, sorry about that :-)
I should put quotes around things or otherwise emphasize "it's MINE!" :-)
That 2008 statement.....
The ocean or the ECONOMY? :-)
as far as healing: WHEN? All he's been is divisive....imagine a half black president finally going to church (as if anybody cared if he went to church or not...but it's HE who said he was a believer and he doesn't go to worship because "it's a security problem" when Bush and Reagan attended every Sunday in LA, TX and DC!??)(but i digress)... imagine him picking a BLACK FREE SLAVES church with a pastor as bad as Jeremiah Wright and the mEDIA NOT MENTIONING IT?
HOLY SMOKE!
Fairwitness said: "Because your ideology of socialism (or communism, if that's your preference) has failed in every nation it has been imposed on. Your way is a loser and so are you!" Zsaid: "WILL he start printing money when they've bled our productive members of society dry and need now to support them AND all the poor and illegals?" Wow! Wooow! Lol!

don't you guys EVER pay attention? :-)

Which country HAS Socialism worked in?
see you next month
Sorry, ain't buying his mugs, he can shove them.
These mugs are holy relics!

A guy that rents a room from my next door neighbor is retired special forces. He'd tell you that just as the CIA was running drugs in Central America in the 80's to fund their operations, so too are they now in Afghanistan doing the same thing.
And he knows this because all "retired special forces" rent rooms from people so they can afford to pay for intel feeds from the deep undercover CIA contacts that all mental patients have.
In fact he told me a story of how some of his fallen comrades were to have been loaded onto a C-130 to fly home and that flight was delayed a month because on the first flight the plane was filled with cocaine.
Because the best way to conduct clandestine operations in foreign countries is to leave your secret operatives bodies behind.
They have their own revenue stream.
Bullshit futures are up!
soapster...LEW ROCKWELL, what a SHOCK :-)
Great, Ron Paul's racist newsletter ghost writer.
Perhaps Soapster missed FreeThinke's invitation to begone?
@Soapster
Tell me about an ambush? I ambushed you with a cup of coffee!
Your neighbor's "special forces" room-and-boarder is full of shit.
@ BD: "There ya go, can't argue the facts, drop the ol' Socialism (or Communism) bomb and call me a loser. Nice little Rush/Fox slave."
You ignore facts presented as though the words aren't even there. You seize on the one sentence that nails your totalitarian regime supporting butt to the wall! BD, you don't have the right to dictate to anyone. You don't have the right to steal the wealth of others, just because you aren't willing to do what YOU need to do to improve your lifestyle.
Truly Beamish, any former special forces soldier would not be renting a room from someone. How gullible can you be?
Nobody in special forces talks about anything.
Fairwitness said: "You don't have the right to steal the wealth of others, just because you aren't willing to do what YOU need to do to improve your lifestyle."
No, you're right but you are certainly entitle to assistance when you are in troble. That's what we pay taxes for.
Ifall you're gonna do is crawl under your rock and spew hate for everyone who' gets something for nothing,' you're wrong and not a very good Christian.
BD said: "No, you're right but you are certainly entitle to assistance when you are in troble. That's what we pay taxes for."
We pay taxes to fund the government, not to redistribute wealth to others, BD. Taxes are imposed to pay for the Judiciary, National Security & Defense, the Treasury...
Nowhere in the United States Constitution does it mandate wealth redistribution, no matter the recipients' needs.
I do believe those who cannot help themselves, those truly incapable of providing for themselves, should be able to count of those of us who can to help them. But it is not up to the Federal Government to provide that help. That needs to happen on the community level. Government entitlements have enslaved the poor --- not the incapacitated --- THE POOR! Able-bodied poor who can and should be taught how to earn a living. Lazy freeloaders who need to have demands placed on them to get off their sofas and work. Those who choose welfare as a way of life are misguided and must be educated.
I have no problem with providing for the truly needy. But communities need to decide who those folks are, not the Federal Government.
My Christian faith is between me and the Lord. Your opinion is of no importance whatsoever.
