Pray for Elmer's Brother...he's had a myocardial infarction

WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON UPDATE:
Ray texted he had a 99% blockage in the coronary artery and they've put in two stents.
Here's the background for those who hadn't known:
Tuesday Night:  Please, everybody, I just spoke to Ray (Elmer's Brother) and he's in the hospital with chest pain and on nitro until the angiogram Wednesday morning at 9:30 Arizona time.   He (and I!) asks for your prayers...that all goes well and that they find something simple to 'fix' and no heart damage...I know he'll appreciate that so much.
WEDNESDAY MORNING:  Ray just texted and he has had a heart attack and is headed for that angiogram very soon......
Blessings and thanks to you all.......We're with you, Ray!

Once, heart attacks were life ending events. Now, they are mostly life changing events. Hang in there. Our prayers are with you.

Hopefully, this will not be a 'big one.'

Please do keep us updated as you find out anything, Z!

Elbro...you know we'll all be praying, and I praise God that he kept you safe through what had to be a very frightening ordeal.

God bless you, and grant you a very quick recovery.

In my prayers.

The stents will open the artery, and dietary changes will over time help to clear the cholesterol plaques built up and prevent other blockages from forming.

Time to switch from chips to nuts in the snack bowl :)
