Did you see THIS? :-) HA!!

DES MOINES, Iowa (AP) — One of Mitt Romney's sons has an answer for those who say his father should release his tax returns. He jokes that President Barack Obama should go first and release his birth certificate and other records.  (Z:  What's funny about that??)
Matt Romney's wisecrack came before an audience in New Hampshire on Friday. In response on Twitter, the Obama campaign tweeted, in part, "Guess he doesn't have one of our mugs?"
The Obama campaign sells mugs with a picture of Obama's birth certificate.
Matt Romney was appearing with three of his brothers when he said in regard to the tax return question: "I heard that someone suggested that as soon as President Obama releases his grades, and birth certificate, and a sort of a long list of things, then maybe he will."
Brother Tagg Romney jumped in and said, "That was not my dad who said that."
Matt Romney later tweeted regret that he'd repeated what he called "a dumb joke."
Mitt Romney has refused to release his tax returns but says he'd reconsider if he were the GOP nominee for president. Obama released his tax returns during the 2008 Democratic primary and in each year of his presidency.
The Romney campaign took a different kind of swipe at Obama, calling via a new website for $18 donations as a response to Obama playing golf while on vacation in Hawaii — a dollar a hole. (end of article)

Z:  See the words I highlighted in red?  !!   Ya, Obama released tax returns during the primary and each year of his presidency, as ALL presidents do, right?  Yes, ALL.   What made me laugh is that the AP writer opened himself wide for the very obvious... "But, Obama has NOT released.................."
Anybody want to fill that list in!?   And, truly, they sell mugs with 'the birth certificate' which only Donald Trump could get them to finally exhibit after THREE YEARS and even that's called into question by the die-hards who still don't believe it's real (you've all seen the font problems, language that wasn't used back then, etc., but they wore us down with denials, and now WHO CARES?!)

Ya, Obama's been transparent, why can't Romney, infers the Yahoo/AP headline!  You can't make this up.
I'm glad the media's not biased :-)

Z, you make a good point when you infer that it is too late to get all worked up about Obama's grades or anything else that may shed light on the man. Why? Because he has a track record as President (of course that record will be interpreted differently) that voters will examine on election day. Perhaps spending a billion dollars on re-election can over come that record. We will see.

Dave Miller said...

Z, do you think Romney should release his tax returns if he is the nominee, as all modern candidates of both parties have in the past?

Why...I ask...would Obummers "supporters"...and his core disciples who are basically frenzied , crazed, dazed, wild eyed functionaries / followers...demand from him.....what they themselves are bereft of?

Do you think they'd want to jeopardize all that "cheese", freebies and "hope and change" bullshit they've been spoon feed since 1964?

Would they trade ...more and ever increasing dem populist bullshit....for an AA anointed Commie in chief...who demands parity to those who produce....zip?

Welcome to what PC has wrought. The inability to call....it as it is.

Oh crap...go ahead....call me a racist. When all I really wanted was Herman Cain to be the most authentic Negro to occupy the WH....a man that knew what America was before 1964...rose above it...unlike Obummer and Holder and M. Obamma.

Dave Miller said...

Also little noted by the liberal media is that Mitt Romney, like Obama before has also chosen to not release his birth certificate.

I wonder why?

Dave Miller said...

Imp, of what exactly are the millions of Americans of all colors, cultures, religions, and ethnicities who voted for and continue to support President Obama bereft?

Kid said...

I certainly don't believe the birth certificate is real

As far as the other stuff, I'm not particularly interested until someone not only promises to, but actually does start tearing down the liberal agenda departments and programs that LBJ began putting in place in earnest in the 1960's. Carter implemented another massive volley of communism, and clinton some more as well as sever damage to our intelligence, military and economic system. Clinton gave China the keys to America. And the union people Love the democrats.

Mind bending isn't it? '-)

Here are some other things we should know about Obama.

1. Who are two of Obama's girlfriends, other than Michelle Robinson?

2. Considering that Obama claims to have come from a humble background, who paid for his education, including the most expensive private high school in Hawaii?

3. Name a single fellow student, co-worker, roommate or friend from Obama's years at Occidental, Colombia, or Harvard.

4. How did Obama become the editor of Harvard Law Review without publishing a single article?

5. What is Obama's IQ?

6. What courses did Obama take at Colombia University and what were his grades?

7. Why did Obama give up a $50K job in New York and move to Chicago to become a community organizer?

8. From birth to the present, has Obama had any health problems, including childhood diseases?

9. Who were some of Obama's clients during his stint as an attorney?

Z said...

KP, thanks for coming by.
I think a billion goes a long way and most people aren't really listening....but, when their pocketbooks are in this condition, they could just go for "anybody but".
It says a lot for AMerica that just because a guy 's still married and has 2 kids, we need to give him credit, doesn't it.
I can't; when I see his mentors (communists like Frank Marshall and a man like Jeremiah Wright...Bernadette DOrn, Bill Ayers...no, I surely don't give him credit as a man)

Dave, I think so. I have to admit I don't know if I'm 100% on that but I'd feel the same about a Democrat, if that's what you're getting at.
I don't know what business it is of ours as far as how much money a man makes and what his taxes look like.
And, of course, I do wonder why the AP writer made it as if Obama had done something special by releasing his taxes when, as you say, every modern candidate has.
I'm pretty sure I'd not do it until I WAS the actual candidate.
I have never heard Romney or any other candidate to be asked for his birth certificate but I think they all have to present something that shows they're a citizen. At least they did until Obama.

Imp..'racist'? You're talking about entitlement people when you mention 'cheese' and 'freebies'....that doesn't mean just blacks..

Kid, good point about Dems and unions..'give our jobs away, we STILL love the left' :-)

Lone Ranger, excellent list and there is more.
Who do YOU know got published by a big publishing house (twice!) in his thirties, having written autobiographies about a short life of no singular accomplishment? I know how hard it is to get published....triple that for an autobiography.

Why did everybody give him a pass for saying he barely knew Ayers when we knew before the election that was a total lie?

we could all go on and on with that list. sadly

Kid said...

Z, there is actually too much 'wrong' with obama to even list. :one Ranger has a good preliminary list and I like your point about two books published by a man who has accomplished Jack. And who were ghost written by someone else anyway(is what I've heard and believe)

I don't hammer on obama because I could do it all day - every day, and I simply don't want to give the sucker "free rent space" in my brain.

Someday, he'll be gone and that is good enough for me. Years from now, if I'm interested and If it needs to be done, I'll correct some history or Wikipedia stories about this imbecile.

http://www.theatlantic.com/politics/archive/2011/04/wheres-mitt-romneys-birth-certificate/237323/

That's an article on Romney's birth certificate, by the way. The writer actually suggests that Romney's keeping it from people and it's possibly because HE ONCE LIVED IN A COUNTRY THAT LOOKS DOWN ON AMERICA! (I swear that's what it says) and that country is not IRAN, or SYRIA..it's FRANCE :-)

It MUST be a terrible conspiracy that Romney hasn't ponied up, huh? :-) OR, the author thinks, it could be because his first name is really WILLARD.!!

So, you see, there are really terribly nefarious reasons why Romney hasn't produced his b.c. :-)
I wonder if he's actually been asked...

I tried to find legitimate articles on this subject and pretty much only Josh Green's original article (above) is there.
Of course, there are a few bits about how Romney hasn't coughed up his b.c. because "only African American Democrats have to produce one"...typical of the leftwing, huh?

You have to love this stuff!

Chuck said...

I think when we have a nominee, likely Romney, they need to absolutely refuse to release anything until Obama releases some records. Period. No discussion. End of conversation.

Also, we are missing something else important here. The GOP is actually fighting back against The One. I believe this is why McCain lost in 2008, he wanted to take the high road while Obama's team played in the gutter. The media is going to prop up Obama, the only defense against this is fighting back.

Z said...

Kid, I'd heard, and saw, a list of Ayers' books...he published one every year except the two years Obama 'wrote his'...but that could be someone's wishful thinking. The syntax is very Ayers, apparently, and, like I said, who gives a darn about a guy that young who's done NOTHING of distinction as yet? Odd, I've always thought that's VERY odd.

I like your line about not renting him space in your brain......the trouble is that he's done such damage to our country with the very idea that our rich need to be sorry they worked that hard , etc...What a terrible precedent he's set in this country that promised everyone opportunity.

Z said...

Chuck, you're so right about 2008. And, yes, I guess the GOP's pushing back against Obama but I don't see it much...not like it should be ; not yet.
He's very cunning and someone's planned his career well; there's much that we don't know and we can't ask because if we do, we're made to sound nuts... Remember how the media came up with the demeaning term BIRTHERS, remember? It works quite well in mocking anybody who dares even question anything.
It's like CHristians are now pejoratively called EVANGELICALS!! WHY?
This is very effective and we have to fight it but Allinsky's rules are being closely followed and we were set up for years to buy it and we didn't realize it.

1. Who are two of Obama's girlfriends, other than Michelle Robinson?

Who cares? The man is married to a good woman and they have children together. I don't like most of his politics, (reminds me of FDR) but he appears to be spiritually fit and faithful. I could care less if he dated a hooker in his 20s. What he belives today is what matters

2. Considering that Obama claims to have come from a humble background, who paid for his education, including the most expensive private high school in Hawaii?

Lots of us cane from humble backgrounds and managed to attend private universities. 85% of all students at private universities are on finacial aid. It is a fallcy that students at private universities are from some distinctly finacially advantaged surrounding (unless you count interested family members as an advantage -- which I do). Private universtites have endowments which make them more affordable that state colleges. Literally. Harvard and Stanford cost low income students ZERO to attend.

3. Name a single fellow student, co-worker, roommate or friend from Obama's years at Occidental, Colombia, or Harvard.

Why? Have you ever had a ass hole friend in college, or were burned by a girlfriend or made bad choices? What is the relevance? Crap, I want a leader who undertsands the consequence of choice. Keep in mind I don't support most of his decisions as a President.

4. How did Obama become the editor of Harvard Law Review without publishing a single article?

Hard work and respect -- what else?

5. What is Obama's IQ?

I would guess he's a solid 145. Buit I don't think it is an advantage or disadvantage. Some our greatest Presidents were not highest IQ.

6. What courses did Obama take at Colombia University and what were his grades?

I would like to know -- but would rather hug my wife and kids. C'mon!

7. Why did Obama give up a $50K job in New York and move to Chicago to become a community organizer?

Ha ha ...

8. From birth to the present, has Obama had any health problems, including childhood diseases?

DOODE!

9. Who were some of Obama's clients during his stint as an attorney?

Now you are cookin'. That is a legit question and there is plenty out there about that and I don't like it.

Z said...

KP, Kid can respond to you himself but you lightly brush off questions that are rather generalized but should really prompt some curiosity.

The point about previous girlfriends isn't so interesting except there are NONE. Why, who knows? And really, who cares? But it's weird.

Harvard Law Review? Editors don't become editors without having shown their stuff. Obama, I believe, had one thing published, if that. It's not the norm at ALL.

It's impossible to go to Columbia or Harvard without big money or a scholarship. He didn't have a scholarship so who paid? I think that's a legit question, considering the Right would never get away without answering.

I think you're going out of your way to be generous and fair and I admire that about you from what I"ve seen of your comments at Silverfiddle's, by the way, but I think Kid's list, while a little weird-sounding, makes some good points; least of all being the mere fact that a list of so many questions (and there are more) can be made....that's a lot of unknowns.

Z said...

KP, I just can't respect a man with Communist friends and mentors. What did he do that impressed you as a man other than have a wife and two children?

I lost respect when I heard he voted four times not to revive a child who survived an abortion attempt.

I lost respect when he told us we could keep our insurance under Obama care.

I lost respect when he handled the Harvard Professors /police situation so badly; condemning the white cops before he knew the facts.

I lost respect when he spoke in Turkey so soon after his inauguration and insulted this country by apologizing for nothing.

I lost respect when he started the class warfare that we're reeling from now.

I could go on and on.........

I WISH I could like him; I think he has a very engaging smile.
Other than that, I think he's scary.

and I totally agree with your points about the family being the foundation of our country.

KP, Thanks for the Rock On, and same to you.

Don't consider this as an attack on your comment, merely My Own questions about obama.

-he won't release his grades. That makes me suspicious they weren't even close to a 3.8
-No one claims to have ever been in a class of his as a professor.
- he (and Michele) gave up their Bar certifications without the slightest resistance.
- he never worked an actual job in his life that anyone knows of. Not even pumping gas somewhere.

I believe he was 'placed' at Harvard, and put on the slide through with minimum grade level graduation or a little better.

This is how it's done with agenda politics.

From Wikipedia about LBJ and his Silver Star....
"MacArthur awarded Johnson the Silver Star, the military's third-highest medal, although it is notable that no other members of the flight crew were awarded medals, and it is unclear what Johnson could have done in his role purely as an "observer" to deserve the medal, even if his aircraft had seen combat. Johnson's biographer, Robert Caro, stated, "The most you can say about Lyndon Johnson and his Silver Star is that it is surely one of the most undeserved Silver Stars in history, because if you accept everything that he said, he was still in action for no more than 13 minutes and only as an observer. Men who flew many missions, brave men, never got a Silver Star"
Seriously.
JFK told Jackie, who later revealed in her memoirs that JFK said "God help this country if LBJ ever gets a hold of it"
I personally believe at this point that Russia/Kruchev had JFK assassinated.

Back to obama. Peace price. for what?
Did you know that the cheering crowds in Germany while he was campaigning were there for a rock concert with free beer and obama came out at the intermission?

As Z pointed out - two books published from someone who has accomplished nothing at that point.

In short, there is nothing impressive about obama as a Harvard grad, Senator, or anything else, outside of the potential that he is a good father and husband. There are plenty of those but none deserve to be in the White House.

And how about the campaign promises?
-he knew what the problems were and was ready to hit the 'ground running'
=The stock market figured out that the housing bubble was a bust in October 2007. 11 months before the election so he can't claim any of that took him by surprise..
=it took hm 10 months or more to put his cabinet together.
That's not hitting the ground running.
- End Iraq war. he had No Effect on the iraq war. Everything that happened occurred on the timetable put forth and agreed to by Iraq and the Bush Administration October 2007.
- Gitmo. Still going strong.
- Economy - Zilch.
Add that 100's if not 1000's of CEO's are on record saying that the biggest impediment to hiring is obamacare. It's on the net. The co-founder of Home Depot said it would be impossible to create such a company today mainly because of obamacare. A HC bill which STILL doesn't provide HC insurance for the poor. A bill which not a single republican voted for - which pelosi said "We have to pass it so we know what's in it" !!! - a HC bill that 70% (and now more) of Americans opposed at the time it was passed. That's a dictator my friend.
Someone tell me what he promised that he did deliver on.

And that's just off the top of my head without any free rental space.

I could go on but there's only so much room in cyberspace...

Anyway, best to you, good luck to us and may life be better for as many of us as possible in 2012 and beyond.

Kid: we agree more than we disagree. Similarly, (truth be told) most on the right agree on the really important things in life with those on the left more than we disagree.

Too often, thinkers focus on diffrences more than similarities. Between gerrymandering and increasingly ideolougically elected officials like Pelosi from safe districts (who could never, ever, win a national election) we are left polarized as a nation,

This results in the inevitable pendulum swingin politics from the center. Like fat ties, thin ties, short skirts long skits we just roll along.

Emotional voting seems to be swinging side to side more quickly; but I trust it will correct itself in the long run. I am more optimistic than most. I see my two 21 and 24 year old kids less trustful of the federal government than I was but they are more involved in local community support than I was.

I am an advocate for family and local community support. The far left and far right present surprisingly little alternative in matters that are critical to our countries future. Congress is telling a cancer patient to take two aspirin and call me in the morning. Why do I care who Obama dated.

Lone, not that it matters, but my brother in law was a contemporary of Barack Zobsma at Harvard. He was very disappointed when Obama became editor of law review because he always wanted to be the first black editor.

And as K said, it didn't take a boatload of money for him to go there either. My brother just worked hard and got good grades.

Also, I feel local is the area to concentrate on. Change DC (if we can) from the bottom up. The federal government is too diseased to cure through current means and options. Protect yourselves at the local and state level.

Polarized yes. We can't even communicate anymore. Liberal. What does that mean? I'm a neo-conservative but a social liberal. I don't care what people do as long as it is legal and some of what is even illegal.

It's all nonsense at the federal level now. A soap opera. A bad one.

Z,
Excellent "I lost respect" comments.

As for Obama's various records, he's not going to release them.

But here's the bigger question, I think: Why hasn't some whistle blower come out and blown the lid off those records? And where are Obama's acquaintances from his childhood and college days to tell about their friendships or enmity with Obama?

How little we know about Obama the man!

AOW, therein lies the biggest problem; as I said on your radio show Friday, remember? WHERE are the young journalists who should be more interested in the truth than their agenda (or that they were taught by their leftwing profs)?

Yes, Breibart has brought down some awful happenings by somehow bringing to light truly egregious things with ACORN and Planned Parenthood (James O'Keefe..? Is that the guy's name? I think so)....but HOW he got this information known is astonishing considering that the media hated it so. I think it was just SUCH amazing ON VIDEO information nobody (but Ducky, come to think of it...but he still doesn't believe the black panthers were intimidating :-)) could justify, that they had to run with it. I don't believe CNN covered it as much as it deserved and, frankly, most lib sites covered it more from the angle of trying to discredit the messengers:-)

Can we blame young journalists who'd like to get the truth? Maybe not, now that I think about it.

Pris, it's the Chicago way.

Lone Ranger - If you applied that list of questions to ANY president or even vice-president, alive or dead, you could get answers easily on Google. Do a Lexus-Nexus search you'll learn more or visit some archives and presidential libraries you could find out more about the lives of these men than you would care to know.

Except for Obama. Most of his records are sealed and no one from his past ever seems to surface, especially since his connections to Wright and Ayers came to light. Shoot, what exactly did he do as a "community organizer?" What were some specific actions he was involved and what were the results? Too many things before he became a senator are just blank or sealed. Curioser and curiouser.

KP - I do not hate Obama, but you are far more gracious towards him than I can be. I think he is simply the current "point man" for an ideology that is damaging everything America was meant to be. There are times that I think he might be a form of judgement on this nation.

Or, maybe the leftwingers have done more damage in our schools than we thought and enough kids have actually been taught that the truth isn't to be known unless it IS leftwing 'truth' and/or they've not been taught to think and follow their guts. ANYBODY (And I mean ANYBODY with a mind) should see what Obama did was lie most of his candidacy. "I didn't know Ayers" "I never heard Jeremiah Wright"...the fact that he had SO little experience at anything was, in essence, a lie the American public was happy to ignore...And then all the amazing hush hush about all the questions listened in a comment above. Who wouldn't, in their right mind, want to follow up and expose that? Yet, it didn't happen and , when the Right tried, they were mocked for caring what Wright said, and the Ayers thing just went away somehow.....that shouldn't happen ever again. Of course, with any Republican candidate, it simply won't and can't happen with this media.

Alligator, you say "KP - I do not hate Obama, but you are far more gracious towards him than I can be. I think he is simply the current "point man" for an ideology that is damaging everything America was meant to be. There are times that I think he might be a form of judgement on this nation."

I wonder about that, too. All of it. When I see Obama speak, I actually DO try to see some sincerity, some truth there, but when what he's saying is so anathema to anything I hold near and dear, and I can see underlying dishonesty, I simply can't honor or respect him at ALL, sadly. It's not a good feeling to feel that way about one's president. Let me retract that...it gave me a stomach ache.."to feel that way about one's country's president". that's better.
And, every time he's angry at the Republicans, he's SO demeaning and tries to sound so even handed...just 10 days ago, he blamed all of it on politics as if all that he's doing isn't about politics! Yes, if the Republicans disagree, it's STONEWALLING, PUTTING POLITICS FIRST...BECAUSE THEY HAVE NO PLAN. THE AMERICAN PEOPLE CAN'T TAKE THE POLITICS MUCH LONGER...

How about the truth? "They do have a plan, but we need to work together to put something together which the American people can live with...we need to put our differences aside and concentrate on the similarities...."

No, it's always POLITICS and STONEWALLING from Republicans if he doesn't get his way.

I'm SICK of it

BBIDAHO...have you ever heard that Romney's been asked for his birth cert. and won't release it? I hadn't.

Dave Miller said...

Z, Mitt has indeed been asked for his birth certificate and it has not been released.

It seems only the parents and actual person can get a copy of it in Michigan, where Romney was born.

Romney has made a decision to not release it at this time.

You can google that for more info.

Now using the logic I have heard frequently from Obama birthers, shouldn't he just release it himself?

And isn't reluctance to do so proof that he has something to hide?

There is not much info as the media has treated it as a non issue, much like they did the Obama birth issue until the conservative right demanded to see it.

I will await that same anger and anti-American rhetoric towards Romney on this issue as his nomination to be the GOP standard bearer moves forward.

Z said...

Dave, are you joking?.. If someone on the Republican side won't cough up something we felt Obama should have coughed up, we're not going to demand it? of course we are.

Use your head, man... you'd think that if this really is a story, the media'd be running it, huh? Like they're not going to do EVERYTHING in their power to get Obama elected?:-) Maybe they know something about Obama's b.c. which holds them back from making a big stink about Romney's supposed holding back of his, come to think of it. What other reason would the media not have to scream this from the rafters after how the Conservatives (and Democrat operative Philip Berg, who was behind one of the lawsuits against Obama) treated Obama's bc??

There is VERY little on this story (in fact, your article's virtually the same as mine....nobody else is discussing it but you and the writer, I think :-), but if you looked above, I myself linked to an article in regard to the birth certificate.
( please read that comment)

The nefarious reasons the liberal thinks Romney's holding back are:

he lived in a country that 'looks down on us'....(FRANCE!!?)

and

he's embarrassed that his real name is Willard.

I think those reasons are a lot less worrisome than a man not being a natural citizen, which had a LOT of proof from Obama's grandmother who said she witnessed the birth in Kenya and others.......also, I'm eager to see if Romney's certificate has the font problems and syntax problems Obama's does.

thanks!

We may agree about Obama's politics more than you realize. I tried to make it clear I do not support the President on many issues (almost all business and financial decision making). I may seem gracious to the family man but that is probably because I think we can separate political ideology from being a good man or good woman or a good parent. I have a brother who is an attorney. He is waaay left. I also have a brother who went to the Naval Academy and is a retired Admiral. He is waaay right. I am closer to somewhere in between. They are both wonderful guys. We all have lovely wives and super kids. We all get along very well. Politics shouldn't be the the form of judgement some seem to use it to be. Having said that, if you are breaking laws and acting unthically then that certainly chips away at any politician's character (or attorney, or military officer, or physician, or anyone else).

KP, I think politics show us a lot about a person, don't you?
Your brother might be way left, but does he believe in the constitution? Does he understand the differences between socialism and capitalism and veer toward capitalism? Does he honor the founding fathers?
Does he realize how dangerous terrorism is?
Does he want our borders shut?

Wish our blogs, I think we all get a little farther left or right when commenting because we're trying to make a point in a small square of space.... I'm probably slightly more center than some would believe but I won't acquiesce on some of the major points like those above.

Just curious about how you think your far left brother feels on the above.

Thanks your Admiral brother for his service!!

Z: good point on the nature of blogs.

"Your brother might be way left, but does he believe in the constitution? Does he understand the differences between socialism and capitalism and veer toward capitalism? Does he honor the founding fathers?

Does he want our borders shut?"

Yes to all of the above. However, saying "yes" is not nearly sufficient. I am uncomfortable defending the left so I won't take this too far.

How we protect our borders is the key question; not if we protect them. How we deal with terrorist is the question where the left and right may disagree. Not "are they dangerous". You understand. I could go on.

KP, this made me laugh "I am uncomfortable defending the left so I won't take this too far."

I know what you mean!

I still can't figure anybody could answer YES to my questions and not be a Conservative, but you learn something every day, and I want to.
I guess you're right...

"How?" has been the question dividing Reps and Dems (see my top post today) forever....but the HOW is what defines the parties, right? ( I mean LEFT?!!!!)

But, lately, it's not even "HOW?" ..with far left wingers, it's "is America worth it?" and THAT attitude needs to be stopped and our kids need to be retaught; a daunting task.

I believe I am more right than not. Recall, relative to the rest of the nation, the far left and the far right is sounds a bit out of touch on some subjects. I don’t mean that in a negative way. Rather, that is an objective observation. Most of us don't want to be pegged "left" or "right". It's not that simple.

Seventy to eighty percent of the country will side with my observations. That must be curious to the minority of people who like that kind of thing or 'have it all figured out'. Either the both the far left and the far right are mistakenly elitist or the rest of us are uniformed. But the latter is not logical! The truth cannot be simultaneously known by two small factions of the American electorate who disagree. A little bit of self-examination is in order for us all. The truth is that most of us agree on most things and that the political mess we find ourselves in is acting on us like a disease.

It’s funny, when I post on conservative blogs I sound liberal. Why I post on liberal blogs I sound conservative. There is only one subject I get people to agree on with me: family. And even then, some individuals in the family are more developed than others.

To be clear, I don't consider you far right, Z. And I don't think Duckey is far left. If I am mistaken, it is probably on relatively narrowly defined topics that are very important to you. Like you said, it's the nature of blogging and today's media. I think that America is going to figure things out and pursuing that is a worthy goal!
