THIS IS TOO FUNNY!
i take photos of clouds all the time, thinking i'm going to remember what i saw in them - when i go to develop them and get home with the proofs - i think to myself, "WTF was i thinking?"
needless to say, we have a multitude of photos of beautiful clouds we know not why we took.
you're right, however - HE IS everywhere!
he's right there in that middle cloud! I'm SURE of it!! :-)
I tried to take lightning once with a point and shoot camera thru the car windshield in France.......tons of shots of NOTHINGNESS....boy, you have to be QUICK!!
Are you ladies saying that G-d hasn't closed the San Francisco office? Hmmmm
Morgan
Stunning pic, z. Yes, you can see Him in those clouds.
Morgan, I have to wonder about the SF office too!
Time for my favorite Emerson poem... (forgive me if I've used it before)
BEAUTY
Was never form and never face
So sweet to SEYD as only grace
Which did not slumber like a stone
But hovered gleaming and was gone.
Beauty chased he everywhere,
In flame, in storm, in clouds of air.
He smote the lake to feed his eye
With the beryl beam of the broken wave;
He flung in pebbles well to hear
The moment's music which they gave.
Oft pealed for him a lofty tone
From nodding pole and belting zone.
He heard a voice none else could hear
From centred and from errant sphere.
The quaking earth did quake in rhyme,
Seas ebbed and flowed in epic chime.
In dens of passion, and pits of wo,
He saw strong Eros struggling through,
To sun the dark and solve the curse,
And beam to the bounds of the universe.
While thus to love he gave his days
In loyal worship, scorning praise,
How spread their lures for him, in vain,
Thieving Ambition and paltering Gain!
He thought it happier to be dead,
To die for Beauty, than live for bread.
He is there, Z. I'm sure of it! :)
It's a beautiful picture.
I'm pretty sure San Francisco's office just might be closed.....800 fires all around it!?
Glad you all like it..and see the figure!
FJ..perfect. thanks.
Beautiful, Z.
I love cloud pictures.
I have a lot to give to God.
Problem it, it's right back in my hands at the end of the day!
beautiful.
Pinky...ain't it the truth!? That cracked me UP!
I think you just described life in a nutshell!
thanks, Heidianne...x
and more of it, pinky!
During a cruise I once took a pic of a cloud that looked like a camel towing a ship. I should look it up and I might blog it; will let you know.
Do it, STeve.
My purpose for posting this was just looking for a pretty picture to relax with, to give us all a break from POLITICS POLITICS HATE NEGATIVITY CULTURAL DEMISE........and I found this in my files and thought "Man, you could say God's in those clouds with a halo around his head and his arms outstretched!"...so, up it went!
if you see a pig in a poke in the clouds and that makes you feel good, super! This one with God sure did the trick with me......until the next instance when I'm saying "God, where the heck ARE YOU!?"
oh me of sometime little faith......I keep forgetting to LOOK UP.z
i like it.
