Look for the Rainbow...........

And, of course, there's always beauty in the world. This is in Germany......but it's everywhere....
when you're not stuck on the election all day long. I need a break. You, too? And it's only June!

Looking for rainbows is a good way to run into gay people. And New Agers.

And gay New Agers.

It's going to be a long year Z, a long one. And even longer if Obambi clinches it.

happy first day of summer, z!

i love this time of year - it's my favorite until fall comes and then fall's my favorite...well, until winter sets in and then of course, spring is my absolute favoritist!

then, the favorite cycle starts all over again.

MK....TOO long. If Obama clinches it (and oh, I just heard a sound byte from him and he is SOOOOO GOOD, people SHOULD love this silver tongued devil, TRUST me, how could they not, unless they have a brain!?), we are DOOMED. He's trying to sound very centrist now, too!

nanc....you crack me up! I always look forward to the Fall...my very favorite.

Advise from good ole Saul Alinsky...

RULE 6: "A good tactic is one your people enjoy." They'll keep doing it without urging and come back to do more. They're doing their thing, and will even suggest better ones. (Radical activists, in this sense, are no different that any other human being. We all avoid "un-fun" activities, and but we revel at and enjoy the ones that work and bring results.)

RULE 7: "A tactic that drags on too long becomes a drag." Don't become old news. (Even radical activists get bored. So to keep them excited and involved, organizers are constantly coming up with new tactics.)

RULE 8: "Keep the pressure on. Never let up." Keep trying new things to keep the opposition off balance. As the opposition masters one approach, hit them from the flank with something new. (Attack, attack, attack from all sides, never giving the reeling organization a chance to rest, regroup, recover and re-strategize.)

That's what I love about blogging. I get soooooo many opportunities to re-invent myself in "new tactics".

Maybe you should go trolling. ;-)

That's what I do when I get bored. Ever troll a "Gay Species" or a "Red Tory" or even a "Renegade Eye"? I have. It's fun. And it repays tit-for-tat. And it teaches you to think about "what motivates a troll" so as to understand how to defeat them.

Sun Tzu, "Art of War"

故曰:知彼知己,百戰不殆;不知彼而知己,一勝一負;不知彼,不知己,每戰必殆。(故曰:知彼知己,百战不殆;不知彼而知己,一胜一负;不知彼,不知己,每战必殆。)

So it is said that if you know your enemies and know yourself, you will fight without danger in battles.

If you only know yourself, but not your opponent, you may win or may lose.

If you know neither yourself nor your enemy, you will always endanger yourself.

FJ....maybe you're right about trolling. I swear I'm loaded for bear ... grrrr!!!

The Sun Tzu thing is scarily prophetic.

"We can form a single united body,
while the enemy must split up into
fractions. Hence there will be a
whole pitted against separate parts
of a whole, which means that we shall
be many to the enemy's few."

one of my favorite sun tzu tactics.

yes, trolling relieves a multitude of maladies.
