"U.S. Presence is Iraq's main problem..."

Thus spake Ayatollah Ali Khamenei !! And, do you know liberals will believe HIM over US?

Iran's playing us like a fine violin.

a fine violin?

more like a broken fiddle!

I had the same thought, but the fine violin is far more effective.
I'm wondering if he gets any Obama campaign pay?!

Campaign pay?

more like the other way around...don't think the Ayatollah for one minute hasn't giured out a way to contribute to Obama's campaign

From an Iranian perspective, the US presence in Iraq is the main problem. How the heck can they be expected to take the place over while the USA's there?

Right, Elbro!

And ya, FJ..that's the whole (not so) underriding message of the piece, isn't it. I just hope people in the West get that.

Well, if an Iranian Mullah says so, we should be asking how high he wants us to jump!

UGH!!!

And DEFINITELY what FJ said!

There are Americans who lap this stuff up because it shores up THEIR agenda of "Get out of Iraq"....And we can't deny that they do.

Iran knows this too..and we can expect much more 'campaigning' before November by Iran...that is the most important point and why I posted this.....

Maliki’s recent trip to Iran was accompanied by a promise not to allow the US to launch an invasion of Iran from Iraqi soil. Naturally, Maliki crossed his heart and hoped to Allah. This made me chuckle because the United States doesn’t need Maliki’s permission to act in its own best interests. Plus, who wants Iran in the first place?

Beyond that, by the time the US marshals sufficient forces to invade Iran, it will already be a collection of smoldering glass crystals – Israel will smoke it like a fine cigar. I’m only surprised they haven’t already done it.

Nevertheless, after we take over in Iran, can we change the name back to Persia?

The liberals want us out of Iraq and they don't have a care one for how or why. They will have us cowering before the followers of the child molester moo-ham-head just like in France if they get a chance.

Pops, what happened in France is exactly what's happening here only they're ahead of us because Algeria's closer to France than Paskistan is to us here.
The French feel very much the same as we do about islamists, believe me. It got out of hand there and it's getting out of hand here.
The only difference is we didn't learn from their experience. And we should have.
We are bowing to the exact same political correctness; shame on us.
Oh, I forgot...we don't do 'shame' here anymore, more's the pity.

Oh we shame, alright. We shame anyone who doesn't practice indiscriminateness and would attempt to shame another. The only thing we don't tolerate is intoleration.

Life becomes much simpler that way. We never have to correct a mistake.

...except making the mistake of attempting to correct a mistake.

Yeah the main problem for him. The assaholah can waffle on all he wants, but he knows very well that with a Republican in charge, the world's superpower is still dangerously unpredictable, even much of its liberal citizenry isn't.

Can't blame em' for being a bit scared, I mean wouldn't you be if you were screaming "Death to America" for decades and right now they're just across the border and more than capable of bring fire and pestilence upon your head at a moment's notice.

FJ....re: shame, exactly.

mk.....I love that! Iran can't be happy!

I couldn't BELIEVE Newt last night on TV saying that McCain will very probably attack Iran should he get into office. JUST what the centrists Newt KNOWS WE NEED TO WIN need to hear, huh?

Sometimes, I think Republicans WANT TO LOSE>

Cover your ears now, everybody:

AS BRILLIANT AS NEWT CAN BE, NEWT CAN ALSO BE SUCH AN ASS. He's starting to remind me more and more of Buchanan.
