I wouldn't worry about it at all Z. The President did us a favor by ridding the world of Saddam.
The lefties have TOTALLY polluted the airwaves with their sedition. Half the people believe them, and the other half either don't care or think they are a bunch of ------- traitors. My point is that this is truly tiresome news even to the majority of the Dems and NONE of them will put this on McCain. I watched it on Brit Hume tonight and tuned it out inside of 10 seconds. It turns into another "Bush lied...." moment on the tube. Jay Rockerfeller was on TV and he TOPS my list of "who needs his ass whipped the worse!"

It doesn't really matter what you and I and most of the good Conservatives know; I keep hoping we all wake up to how uninformed and sheepish most Americans are and that they do believe this stuff.

It is partisan politics, pure and simple.
I agree with the majority here that this report is old news. Politicians capitalize on the fact that most Americans do not understand the process of intelligence collection, analysis, and forming recommendations for decision makers. It is, in my view, the political manipulation of uninformed masses to achieve a particular result. It is dishonest, and what we should be accustomed to by now (from both parties).
Let us also consider that reports such as this one, diverts voter attention away from other issues. How many people feel comfortable with Obama’s long-term relationship with well placed, extremely rich, and corrupt influences in Chicago – many of whom are now firmly attached to the Obama Campaign? As pointed out in , the truth is that the Obama Campaign does not represent change in Washington (or Chicago) politics. Obama is an empty suit, and we can avoid that stark truth by dredging up partisan opinions about events from five years ago.
McCain does have a problem – but it isn’t Bush’s decision with respect to Iraq. He’d better start confronting the ludicrous assertions made by Obama, do it continually, and do it forcefully, if he expects to win the election in November.

About a year ago, I heard two really bright talk show hosts on two separate programs say "That Leftie LIED!! WHY do they do that when they know the TRUTH!?"
I'm talking to the radio "because the truth doesn't matter, they KNOW their lie is heard and digested" It's sort of like big headlines on the front page that get 'fixed with the truth' but only on page 54 on the bottom left hand corner.
It makes NO MATTER what the truth is and which part of the senate agrees or disagrees or what any report really said; The mainstream media RULES and their headlines are GOSPEL to MOST American people only hear the bytes and they know that.
This is why the internet blogging thing started among Conservatives, to get to the facts, to show all sides, to remind us exactly what you, fj, mustang, beamish, are saying.
