Sunday Faith Blog

"Thy Word is full of promises, flowers of sweet fragrance, fruit of refreshing flavour when culled by faith. May I be made rich in its riches, be strong in its power, be happy in its joy, abide in its sweetness, feast on its preciousness, draw vigour from its manna. Lord, increase my faith."*
Spring will come....with 'flowers of.sweet fragrance', refreshing flavour. Have faith!

Have a wonderful Sunday......Oh, and I think there's some game today, but it's not the Lakers, right? So...I don't care. But HAVE FUN! :-)

"Geaux Saints"...terrific, Jingo; I hadn't seen that! VERY CLEVER!

By the way...let's not forget God loves SINNERS, too...not JUST Saints! :-)

Z, it is clever and I wish I'd come up with it. :-) I like it better than the idiotic sounding WHO DAT!

I posted about this today over at my house.

And here's the odd thing about me: I don't necessarily specifically look forward to spring. I enjoy winter as much or more than any other season. I look forward to the nurturing rains, the packed snows -- this is nature in her wisdom enriching the earth and preparing for the seasons to come, with God in his overarching seat, blessing us all.

From Z, at her sis's house on her computer:

I HOPE none of you watched the golf tournament on TV today because MAN are we having gorgeous weather today! Miami, too, it looks like....

We have hot wings and chicken tortilla soup and a bunch of other stuff....will be watching with all of you.

And still hoping the Lakers win :-)
(to my football fan sis who's at her house with her family and friends, i"M SORRY I don't like FOOTBALL, stop teasing me!!! heh heh)

HAVE FUN, EVERYONE! XXX z

What a nice shot you took in Germany. Suitable for framing, as they say! God bless you on this day when we're enjoying a break from the rains.

FROM Z...FROM HER SIS'S COMPUTER:

Okay...so I AM watching .... (gasp!) FOOTBALL! And I'm kind of liking this! (except I wish the Saints had chosen to do a 3 pointer instead of the touchdown, but...we're watching on TIVO so, if anybody tells us who won, you're dead!)...

Pas, thanks, I'm so glad you liked the picture..
Brooke, you too, sweetie.

off for more taquitos and guacamole (i'm on my 40th or so)...chicken tortilla soup next..I hope you're all having a great time! xxxx z

God bless you Z... Mustang, you are just a big ole "Gloater"!!!

Congratulations to the Saints for a game well played. Sad that our Colts lost, but I can't think of a more deserving team to win if they didn't.
And Drew Brees did go to Purdue!!!!!

I need for spring to come since my body has turned into a weather barometer!!!! LOL!!!!

FROM Z...from remote computer again!:

I have to admit I got into it when the Sainta started doing so well...and was thrilled when they won...
I can't imagine how DRUNK that town was last night....The Big Sleep probably has the Big Hangover by now!

Enjoy your day....z

I don't watch football but I enjoyed watching the highlights here and there on the internet afterward. A big win by a big underdog with a special hero is exciting.

No doubt about it, Faith...even I got excited about the underdog winning, particularly New Orleans....wonderful day for that town. AND they got rid of Mayor Nagin!! WAHOOO!!!
