Z, where's the streaming audio button.

okay, it streams at that site, got it.

There's someone on the air doing a Dolly Parton cover who is frightening.

hi, Ducky, I'm glad you figured it out...All I can do is call each time they've interviewed me !

I'll top that...I've been on probably five times including today and each time I've had to ask Always "What's the number?" and each time she tells me it's the one on the site and on her emails! I keep thinking there has to be a number the interviewed call into separately.
Oh, well...am looking very much forward to it,as usual!

No, z, the Post is not releasing specific intelligence data.

They are running a series on the interlocking functions of hundreds of agencies ans why they cannot operate effectively and why we are LESS SECURE since the proliferation of the myriad of agencies.

It picked up in the last couple of weeks, z, because of Breitbart's ginned up article.

z, the young journalists who want to make a difference are :

1. Reporting on the problems of our intelligence structure for the post and being ignored.

2. Being driven from the field as more and more of our "media" are eaten up by talk radio and news becomes entertainment.

z, I'm still in shock that The Economist, which mostly supported Thatcher is considered "Liberal".

Simply impossible to comprehend.

Great interview! Thanks so much for taking the time to join us on the air.

BTW, sorry about the confusion and dead-air time on my end. Mr. AOW had "an incident" during the show.

Hi Z,
It was terrific. You sounded like an old hand at this.

Ducky, Bush wanted an office in the WH, on Homeland Security. The Dems insisted on making it a full fledged cabinet post.

A huge new layer of bureaucracy. Then at the behest of democrats, the DNI (Director of National Intelligence)was added. Another layer of bureaucracy layered on top of the others.

When Clinton was President he slashed the intelligence budget, and walls were erected even higher to inhibit communication between the CIA and the FBI. That's how dots weren't connected leading up to 9-11, plus Clinton's disinterest in following up what he was warned about.

After 9-11, it was clear, that the intelligence community had to be strengthened, and communication between the services was crucial.

During the mid nineties the slashing of their budgets cost the intelligence community big time. People were let go, who had many years of experience. It takes years to regain that kind of expertise. It cannot be rebuilt overnight.

Now, Obama has given the FBI more authority over intelligence than they should have and the CIA seems at least, to be in some disfavor with this administration.

There is nothing in this WH that isn't politicized. They politicize everything. When intelligence is politicized, it loses it's objectivity. It's inevitable.

So, in one sense you're right. There's too much bureaucracy.

But, there's a chill over the entire intelligence community, which the democrats always seem to perpetuate.

No one who works in that business want's to do the job he's required to do, which is approved, only to find out years later he can legally be found of misconduct and punished because the rules change midstream. Not to mention he faces a bureaucratic nightmare just to do his job.

We were better off with fewer agencies and a smaller group and higher quality of personnel. Unfortunately, lawyers seem to have more power over what's done, than anyone else.

It's a bureaucratic nightmare, which liberals can't seem to stop themselves from creating. This isn't rocket science, it's common sense.

BTW Ducky, at the end of your remarks on AOW's show, you said Breitbart should end up in a body bag. Disgraceful.

Saying that, you discredited yourself, and everything you said before that. Congratulations, only you could shoot yourself in the foot like that. You just can't help yourself can you?

Pris, that is so horrifying..thanks for that information, but wait till I have my glass of wine, okay? :-) HOLY @$#(&#@*($&*(#&$

I agree with you...we're in childrens' hands and we're faced with the biggest outside threat we've ever faced.

Ducky's standing by his BODY BAG line at the top post.....I guess that's just liberal thinking..."don't agree, kill him"
