This is MT. ETNA, taken 7 hours ago by Ms Z on her month long sailing trip on Alita, a 49' sailboat she's sailing with a sailing partner. They're doing four hour shifts of sailing/sleeping.......from a small town in Turkey to the Canary Islands........this is a fishing village called Riposta, near Sicily, and Mt Etna.  I thought you'd like to see it, too........
Please make sure you read the piece below.....amazing!

They left harbor about five hours ago and there's a thunderstorm coming so please keep her in your prayers!

Sounds awesome. I'm afraid I might get sea sick, I'm prone to do that. I had a chance when I was a kid to spend a summer on an old sailing schooner (the big old sailing ships, not sure what the accurate term is). But I did not go for some reason, I can't remember now. I'm sure I would have gotten sick on that.

She is SO loving this trip though it is extremely challenging. She's very much like her dad...
She says she felt him when the winds finally picked up after a day of no wind.. I loved that. He came to her rescue :-) (again!)

Debbie, she and the other sailor were ill the first few days. The odd thing was it was extremely calm, no wind...I guess that constant bobbing can get to you. Thankfully, she was feeling better before hitting Sicily; you can't be too sick to eat ITALIAN FOOD. She said she had the best pizza she'd ever had; scallops, salmon, etc...
If it hasn't pepperoni, it's not pizza , to ME!!
