Roh-roh.
Don't be a schlub, guys... ;)
Or ladies. :)
Brooke! I'm such a chauvinist I was thinking only of the men!
you mean I've gotta get something for Mr. Z, TOO! (Smile)
I think he'll like tomorrow's post.
happy Valentine's day, brooke..to you and Mr. Brooke!
My husband is going to get a Valentine card and I know he'll like it - it's cute. But I bought him some chocolate candy and I ate it tonight! I remembered that I've done that other years.
Sue!! That is hilarious! You running out tomorrow AM and getting "him" MORE?!!
z - Absolutely not! The card will have to suffice. Anyway, I stay up late and sleep in, so that was the last chance for candy. (It was Godiva - the very best.)
I have a double whammy, Valentines day and Wednesday is my 20th wedding anniversary.
Sue, GODIVA...yummo! Only the best..for US, right!?
Congratulations, Chuck!! I hope you have 2 wonderful celebrations..20 years...I wish more marriages made it that long!!
Happy Anniversary, Chuck! :)
I got my wife 2lbs of assorted chocolate from See's. Taking her to lunch and then a matinee in downtown Charlottesville tomorrow afternoon.
Steve..GOOD MAN!
Husbands; take heed!!!
Brooke is my hero, once again.
Dinner with friends and me later, ooo lala.
Z, the link is working now.
Blessings.
I like that idea Sue! Buying him chocolate then eating it! Sounds like you're taking a line from my playbook!
My wife and I don't really do Valentines day up here. She doesn't eat chocolate, and flowers cost a lot and die so quickly. But I did build a fire out where we sit in the evenings when it's warm enough, and we spent a little time watching the fire and remembering when we met 26 years ago. So we did celebrate the day in our own way.
Hermit, doesn't sound like it could get much better than that....lovely
I don't respond well to blackmail...but I could strike a bargain.
Hermit, yours was the best. I hate commercialism of all of our best holidays. One shouldn't have to spend a fortune just because the calendar says it's time to do so. My wife got flowers and I got Lindt chocolates, but I had to pay for both. WTF???
Average! Mr. Z got Lindt chocs, too..his very favorite!
I paid, but it's 'his' money!!
