I'm breaking a rule and posting something on top of my Sunday Faith Blog today. I think it's that important, CRUCIAL, that this bill gets delayed, discussed and then STOPPED! ONLY we can do it.... We complain our politicians only act on which side their bread's buttered on....so let's take advantage of that now. Tell them their bread's TOAST if they don't vote against it...threaten them (politely, of course!)

My congressman, Dave Camp, has said he's against it, while I will not be able to sway Levin or "Stab em now!"
My congressman voted against the plan. Voinivich finally showed some backbone and said he'll vote against it. Brown is a socialist so his problem is there isn't enough money involved. He was one of BO's big spending buddies in the Senate.
Thanks for the links Z. Christopher Bond will vote NO but Claire McCaskill is a co-sponsor of the bill. I don't think I'll convince her to vote no. ;0) I wrote her a letter anyway though. Thanks for the great links.

Good going Z! I've already done this about 10 different ways. Through the Republican Jewish Coalition, Americans For Prosperity, and calling and e-mailing my pathetic Senators. Nanette got 7 people at her office to do the same and 3 of my guys are HUGE conservatives who followed my lead. My whole family has done the same, but many are in NY or NJ, no luck there. These Cleptocrats are getting an earful! This is nothing more or nothing less than a matter of Constitutional freedom.
You CANNOT stimulate an economy by first removing money from the private sector!

If I had John Kerry and Ted Kennedy representing me I couldn't even look at myself in the mirror. It's bad enough that Emmanuel Cleaver pretends to represent me. He hasn't paid the taxes on the carwash he owns in the town where I work. No big surprise there. It's getting harder and harder to find a democrat that has paid their taxes.

I will NEVER EVER forget her delivering some plea to a Senate hearing with a bunch of her aids...I've told this one before, but...
She's standing there holding up poster after poster to make her point and there were SPELLING ERRORS on them. OH, man, what a great representative.
I hate to tell you this, but when I wrote her today, having taken my own advice and finally written to her, Feinsteinn AND Collins (am about to write ol' Arlen the turncoat), I added at the bottom (because I get furious when I receive them).."and please don't send me a canned email back telling me you appreciate my telling you what a lousy job you do"

Brooke - This is how we stopped Immigation Reform. E-mails and calls inundated them. If they get enough, it has impact.

Thanks for doing this Z. I already had my reps, but I'm sure many didn't. I'm sending the Maine traitors e-mails also.(right next door) I'm also sending the addresses to my son who does live in Maine. My guess is that 2010, 2012 will see 2 new dem seats over there, but it won't be much of a loss.
