"That kind of bothered me," he said. "I was told that I had it." That's WRONG. American governments shouldn't treat people like this.
UPDATE: Obama: Catastrophe coming if Congress doesn't act. Shame on him...just plain shame on him. We MUST start entertaining other ideas, Mr. Obama....most of America now thinks you are WRONG. Words like CATASTROPHE should be avoided......who in the world would hire or buy hearing that? Is that a jump start to an economy? (sorry the letters are SO big here; for some reason, I can't get them to be a normal size! I'm really not SCREAMING...this time!)

Yeah, this is the same fear mongering at which Cheney is so accomplished in foreign affairs.
The more you look at this stimulus the more you see people like Larry Summers in there trying like hell to reflate the bubble so we can all dance this little quadrille again and get ripped off.

Gen. Zinni is a liberal, supported Obama from day number one. Several years ago, he was sent as Special Envoy to the Middle East; he had both the Israelis and Arabs trying to kill him. So much for an Ambassadorship, eh?

Its nothing short of stunning how unstimulating this bill is showing itself to be as each day goes by.
I can understand why time is not on his side... the bill is over 600 pages in length and by now, some have read it thru...

I love that after these donations from the financial sector Obama is shocked, shocked I say, at the bonuses they are giving each other. He doesn't even have the class to not throw the people that have bribed him under the bus.
Nationalize? That's already been done. When the govt gives money to a business and then dictates the salaries of employees, that's nationalization. When you control the amount of someone's paycheck, you control them and the business.
As the bailouts spread the hands of the federal government will clench tighter and tighter around the throats of Americans.

Hey, you just don't get it. Sure, it's tens of millions of billions of zillions of dollars, but this is different -- it's hope...and change.

Ya, the guy's crashing and burning, there's no doubt about it...but we're going to suffer badly; he's signing everything in sight (that is, when he's not going to public schools and telling them he's "tired of the White House") and I can't see how we'll pay for ANY OF THIS.
I HONESTLY am NOT a conspiracy freak but there's something ODD...this whole crash, the housing thing, the way the stock market acted when things first went bad indicated something funny, some manipulation, was going on to some stock experts i know...and we don't have a media which'll tell the truth, so how're we going to find out? WHy is he SO SO negative? Does he think ANY economy can come back with CATASTROPHE being the word he bandies about?
If they give every American $10K, who'll SPEND it when he's saying "it's getting worse before it gets better"? WHO WOULD PUT IT BACK INTO THE ECONOMY? NOBODY!!

We have said it on this blog now for about one year. And I hate to be right (in this case). It's called communist dictatorship. We have called this then, have written several articles about socialism and the dangers which might develop, and compared the upcoming situation with Venezuela.
We were right all the way. And BHO even topped the prediction by his coronation ceremony, which, as we said, did put Stalin's parades and Hitler's Reichsparteitage to shame, and was exactly in line with the coronation of an African dictator. The only difference was that this coronation took place in Washington and not in Nairobi (would have been a more appropriate place).
If you want to see again where we are headed, look again at the article about socialism and Venezuela. You will see this happening piece by piece.
There is one issue I have underestimated, however: the speed with which things are happening. But there is hope: His Majesty Obama I is so inexperienced (or shall we call it stupid?) that he makes one mistake after another, so there is a chance that actually the country (not the MSM) will wake up and start a revolution. It can't come too early, because Marxism is the last thing this wonderful country needs).
If not, the counrty is doomed, and it will take a generation to undo these idiocies which we see develop.

Interesting the Mr Z used the 'C' word. Glen Beck has started a somewhat comical, very serious "Communist Update" on his new show on Fox. Its not that far fetched given the past several weeks.
And I do believe it bugs this guy to the max to have go home to the "White" house every night.... how long before we see something there?
z you may disagree with this but i have been suprised by how the media has handled the obama presidency! i think they have been quite critical. now they have not be as antaganistic towards him as towards bush, but they haven't given him a pass like i thought they would. i guess critisicm is in their d.n.a. no matter the politics!
I've heard such laughable comments and fawning at MSNBC that I can't really agree , Pat! This morning, they had to mention Joe the Plumber, and they said "...And Joe the plumber, who wasn't really a plumber, he hadn't the criterion..." and then went into the political point. Just CRACKS me UP! WHY say that? It's all still very PRO DEMOCRAT...REPUBLICANS ARE NASTY!.
Can't say's I've heard much criticism of Obama except the truth at FOX and on talk radio. Sadly. BUT, I WILL say that just the FACTS are beginning to sink into the heads of even SOME liberal Americans who still love America..this stimulus package is getting THOUSANDS of protests, maybe millions...let's see if the people count anymore
