You can buy these.......

Click here and buy these bumper stickers. Let people on the streets who voted for Obama (you've seen THEIR bumper stickers!) know just how happy you are that THEY are now helping to pay your mortgage!

By the way, I had a canned voice phone call today beginning with "President Obama wants you to know that he's arranging for mortgage assistance for those who can use it. If you would like, call and find out if you qualify." They're calling us to offer us a bite of the big package. Cozy, isn't it? How much do the phone calls cost? (Except, I didn't listen all the way through, and I'm starting to think this had to have been a scam by some mortgage company. Any of you had one of these calls?)

(thanks, Mustang!)

One of the listeners to The Gathering Storm is sporting that bumper sticker. She hasn't gotten any honks yet, but she has gotten a lot of thumbs up from passersby.

Too bad I couldn't put these on my school busses. That WOULD cause a bit of a stir.

I am DEFINITELY buying some of these...we just HAVE to, folks.

(of course, I'm only putting it on our second, not so nice, car! Who knows what some lefty'll do?)

Z, If I get one of those calls I think I'll call and say, "our house is paid for but since we HAD a mortgage I'd like to know if the offer is retroactive"!

When they say no I'll tell them "yes but we struggled to pay it off, doesn't that count"? After all it isn't our fault Obama wasn't President then.

Those bumper stickers are great, but I wouldn't worry about my car getting keyed, I'd worry about being shot!

There was a news item this past week. A woman bought a house six or seven year ago for under $100K . . . but, for whatever reason, she went to the bank and obtained a second mortgage in the amount of $250K. Alas, the poor woman spent the money and could not afford to repay the loan. In default, the bank foreclosed and tossed this woman out. Subsequently, another party bought the house. Meanwhile, ACORN broke the lock on the house and moved the original owner back inside because . . . well, the woman has rights.

Now maybe it’s just me, but I wonder, “What was the bank thinking?” Surely this woman understood she would have to pay that money back.

After reading this post, I went online and read our Constitution; I could not find a single provision giving this woman any right to live in a house she defaulted on . . . but to be honest, I also could not find a Constitutional prohibition on stupidity..

Mustang - I think there is a law against breaking and entering. Or is ACORN a protected bunch of thugs operating under the umbrella of one of Obama's volunteer corps?

Priscilla..imagine? YOU and Mr. P worked hard and paid for your home, but look what others are getting...for almost nothing.

Mustang, that is an amazing story....just unbelievable.

And Pris is right......you'd think it's breaking and entering!?

Obama mentioned that civilian defense corps today in Camp Lejeun....Has he never heard of the National Guard? Just what IS this CIVILIAN GROUP? He going to arm them? While he and HOlder fight our 2nd Amendment? THAT makes me feel comfy, huh?

The place Mustang brought up was in Baltimore, Md. Here's a window into my blog about it:

"Donna Hanks initially purchased her home (315 South Ellwood, Baltimore, MD 21224) on 7/06/2001 for $87,000. She refinanced in 2005 for $270,000, and went into bankruptcy in 2006. The house was sold in July 08, but they couldn't get her out until September 08 after not paying anything for over a year. The home was legally sold months ago so the bank doesn't even still own it. That puts her and ACORN in a pretty nasty predicament.
This woman was given every chance to pay her mortgage but no, she had to go and tap her house like an ATM, blow all the money on God knows what and now expects to be treated like a victim and have us taxpayers pay for her stupidity and greed...with the blessings of these creepy ACORN Marxists.
