Pray for Cheney....

....he's "resting comfortably" in the hospital after having had chest pains this afternoon. Thanks.

Tonight we WILL say a sincere prayer for Dick Cheney. He's one of our greatest living Americans.

We love him in our family!

Cheney and I were born the same year. He had his first heart attack while still in his thirties -- and several more afterwards.

Considering all the stress he's put himself through in order to serve our country so selflessly in a series of thankless jobs, when he could have retired comfortably and lived "the good life" decades ago, speaks for his character.

Frankly I am amazed he has lived this long and done so much. I hope he will soon be well and that this incident will prove no worse than the scare Rush Limbaugh went through not long ago.

Consider it done Z

Dick Cheney is a great American and a patriot. He has served his country most of his life.

Our prayers are with him and his family.

Hopefully he will make a quick recovery. And just to be fair I felt the same way about Clinton. Some things ought to be more important than politics.

Good job, my friends.

Vegas, I know what you mean...I did feel badly for CLinton, too...yes, this is a personal thing and we never rejoice over someone's ill health; I have to admit I can't imagine what the leftist blogs are saying tonight because they usually get into a real excitement zone when poor Cheney's taken ill.

Funny, just last night or the night before, I heard Ann Coulter on CNN talking with that sleazy Rick Sanchez. FINALLY, Ann said the words no American hears much about Haliburton and Iraq "It was one of two companies who CAN do that work"...something liberals apparently wouldn't listen to, but Mr. Z knew for SURE (trust me) AND reminded me that those huge projects usually take months if not years to BID and get people THERE and Haliburton WAS there and ready to go.
Plus, she reminded Sanchez that they didn't make a penny on this project.

I could never pretend to feel bad if Pelosi, Hillary, Reid, Schumer, Boxer, Pat Leahy, Barney Frank, Chris Dodd, Rahm Emmanuel, David Axelrod or His Exalted Highness fell mortally ill. Instead I would praise God for His infinite wisdom and thank Him profusely.

I may be wicked, but I could never lie about my feelings about that group of wicked wolves -- and the rest of the ratpack to which they belong

I always try to separate the people from the politics freethinkie, it's one of the things that gives me the high ground with many on the left.

You can't be decent to EVIL. There is NO COMPROMISING with the DEVIL. The Great Deceiver will kick you in the shins and blacken your eyes EVERY TIME you try to "FAIR" with him.

Thee LEFT is EVIL.

Z, good for you for deleting Duckhead's remark (it came through in my email). He's more of a piece of excrement than usual today. This reminds me of when Tony Snow died and people of Duckhead's ilk were so horrendous on HuffPo they had to close down the comments section. This is what happens when you are a leftist and therefore lacking a moral base.

I became aware of him during the first Gulf War & liked him immediately. He never ducked or prevaricated on questions, was direct & to the point. My favorite memory of him was when he told Patrick Leahy what to do. He has the best wishes of both myself & my husband. love the man!!
