I'm with Germany. As I mentioned, they were my favorite before the worldcup started.
Since all of the teams I supported have already lost, I will yell for Germany.
Tell Mr. Z, I will be cheering right along with him.
Go Germany!!!
FB...wish you and Mrs. FB were here to watch!! (Consider it?!)
Leticia, you're a praying friend...you tell Mr. Z you're cheering with him, honey....
Jen, thanks ! xx
I should have bought something bratwurst or something for lunch! :-)
When I think about Germany winning the cup I can't help but think of the final scene from "The Marriage of Maria Braun".
The Bundesrepublick Deutschland Trilogy is so good.
It's half time, 0-0, & I'm rooting for Germany as I admire Angela Merkel.
Silvrlady
Well, Mr. Z, we cheered and yelled together and Germany played a hard game, but the experience of the Spanish players won out in the end.
Hey, at least, we got to see an awesome soccer game! You, literally, had the best seat in the house.
I'm so deeply disappointed.
I didn't give a fig one way or the other until I read your post.
So sorry, Z.
thanks, Cube...before I married Mr. Z I'd have given even less than a 'fig'...but, I got to love the game and ......
Of course, I'm happy for Spain.
Sort of !
I'm bummed. Really. Couldn't care less about Spain and the Dutch.
i'm with you, FB. I can't get a lather up for the final game AT ALL.
I guess I'll go with the Dutch....altho I think Mr. Z would be rooting against them, frankly. Ya, I guess I'll root for Spain.
For him. :-)
