Think Obama's lawsuit is strictly political?
Do you think the DOJ really thinks this is a federal job or do you think this is about winning over hispanics? Can Arizona sue anybody in Federal government for not protecting them?
And, really....who would mind showing ID if they're legally here? I don't.

This is as politically motivated as the dropping of the case against the Black Panthers. This DOJ is the most corrupt in my recollection and certainly the most devoid in following the rule of law.
its certainly politically motivated but his calculations are way off. this is a loser for him from the start.
Everything this administration does or attempts to do is politically motivated in order to enact its agenda. Their agenda is simple: destroy America, and traditional American life everywhere it can be found. The assault continues on us economically, socially, culturally and our founding values and morals. On Christianity and American exceptional ism. Obama and his minions know no boundaries or limitations. They will press froward as far and fast as they possibly can. They will redistribute wealth so long as it isn't their wealth or that of their financial supporters.
Obama has proven himself an undeclared enemy of America. His choice of cabinet members, czars and associates leaves NO doubt of his intentions for our wounded and bleeding nation, Once we are adequated crippled, he will convince the successfully indoctrinated masses that euthanasia is appropriate and that we have to start all over. And they will believe him. Its all been done before, just never here.

its all corruption Z and we know it!
A no brainer Z, of course it's political. Just another ploy by the thugocracy.
Here's the joke. Nowhere in the suit is the mention of profiling. I think I know why. The federal law pertaining to illegal immigration, allows federal agents to stop and interrogate any suspected illegal alien, without probable cause, or any infraction of a law.
Yes, that means that profiling is allowed according to federal law. There is no prohibition of profiling at all.
The Arizona law prohibits profiling!

I like the cartoon that shows O. being asked for proof of citizenship (while seated in the Pres. limo) at the Az. border.

Its about the hispanic vote. Are you watching Beck? Racists are in control of this country now, Z.
It's all political. Obozo's support by Hispanics is dropping in greater percentages than other ethnic groups.
Tom! is that true? he's losing Hispanics (LEGAL ones, of course)? Because I thought I was in the minority with Republican Hispanic friends who resent Obama even more than I do..
I show my passport to prove I'm a citizen and I would show my green card before that for job applications and other things. So really, what's the big deal? I remember showing my green card at a bank in DC.
" I hate white people...every last (sic) iota of them. You have to kill some crackers. You have to kill whites and their babies. What's wrong with you black man?
Welcome to the racist in chief...his ghetto minions...his indoctrination into the Wright church of anti semitism...hate whitey...his ignorance of civil rights....welcome all to "Change". As he stated...."We are the people we've been waiting for".
Welcome to Van Jones and his "hope". Obama stated "let's remove the barriers that stand in the way of the black man".
Yes...thugs, czars, liars, corruption, incompetence, muslim love...the abandonment of American values...the destruction of Christianity...the disembowelment of legitimate votes.
The end of America.
You..have to despise this mans agenda with every fiber of your being. Otherwise...suck it up. Lose your rights...lose your property...lose your neighborhoods...lose your constitutionally given freedoms. This "man" this... androgynous freak...must be stopped.

Yea...with the La Raza types that want open borders and all "rights" granted to illegals I'd wager. They want nothing less than the complete destruction and demolition or our borders. Hence our Sovereignty...our states rights...our security against 3rd world thugs and criminals.

"Barack Obama and Eric Holder want the courts to rule that only the federal writ runs in Arizona on immigration-law enforcement. Apparently, though, the federal writ doesn’t run in Rhode Island, where law enforcement has been doing for years exactly what the Arizona law Obama opposes mandates — without a peep from the DoJ:
"But in Rhode Island, illegal immigrants face a far greater penalty: deportation.
“There are police chiefs throughout New England who hide from the issue . . . and I’m not hiding from it,’’ said Colonel Brendan P. Doherty, the towering commander of the Rhode Island State Police. “I would feel that I’m derelict in my duties to look the other way.’’
From Woonsocket to Westerly, the troopers patrolling the nation’s smallest state are reporting all illegal immigrants they encounter, even on routine stops such as speeding, to US Immigration and Customs Enforcement, known as ICE."
Well, that’s different from what Arizona is doing because, well, um … Arizona’s racist, or something. In fact, Rhode Island does exactly what Arizona belatedly decided to do, which is to get serious about immigration control and enforcing the law. The only difference is that Rhode Island began doing it before Obama needed a distraction from a hugely unpopular ObamaCare bill and thought a fight over immigration would bolster Democrats in the midterms.
Ummm...could it be because Rhode Island is a blue state?"
From TownHall...America is behind Arizona, jan Brewer and..THE RULE OF LAW. ILLEGALS HAVE NO RIGHTS INDER THE CONSTITUTION IN AMERICA. HUMAN RIGHTS..YES...BUT THE SAME RIGHTS AS LEGAL, LAW ABIDING CITIZENS....A ROBUST "NO"..PERIOD.

"Sen. Jon Kyl (R-Ariz.) is attacking the federal lawsuit over Arizona’s immigration law as an “obviously political” move by the Obama administration.
The Justice Department filed a suit Tuesday hoping to block the implementation of the state law that grants police the ability to ask for documentation proving citizenship of anyone they suspect of being an illegal immigrant.
The suit argues that the law violates the Constitution by asserting authority over immigration policy, which typically falls under federal jurisdiction.
But asked about the suit Tuesday night by Fox News’ Greta Van Susteren, Kyl said the federal government’s motivation is not founded in asserting constitutional authority.
“It is obviously political,” Kyl said.
“The statute will be viewed by a court and determined constitutional or not without the federal government having been involved in it,” said the Arizona Republican, referring to suits against the state from civil rights groups and state school districts. “I just find this very troublesome that we as taxpayers of the federal government having to fund the lawyers to sue the state of Arizona.”
Attorney General Eric Holder said Tuesday that allowing Arizona to create its own immigration policy could prompt a “patchwork of state laws” that would “create more problems than it solves.”
“Setting immigration policy and enforcing immigration laws is a national responsibility,” Holder said.
Kyl contended that the federal government’s inability to secure the border and produce comprehensive immigration reform has made it lose its authority on the issue.
“Now, if the federal government had been doing its job, Arizona would not have passed a law,” Kyl said. “But I think everybody concedes the federal government has not yet controlled the border. It has not yet been able to enforce the visa exit-entry system.”

I keep wondering why BØ44 would spend the money on this lawsuit rather than spending it on law enforcement and border patrol officers.
Oh wait ... that would only make sense if we had a president rather than a racist with a communist agenda.
Silly me ...
FB, and did you get hysterical for having to show your credentials and threaten to SUE!??
Major...I think people are starting to wake up to this stuff, I just hope it's not way too late. I loved when the left questioned Kyl's honesty over Obama's..imagine having the guts to weigh them both?
Let's see....Kyl has an amazing reputation for integrity and honesty in the senate...
Obama lied about Wright, Ayers and health care, he won't let us see his grades or the actual birth certificate (which could be put to rest one way or the other in 10 min. if we had a media which cared at all), etc etc.
Ya, and the left believes Obama :-)
Mustang, everyone in his admin. seems to be a racist. But, you can't be racist unless it's anti-Black, dontchaknow
A SMOKESCREEN IN A SHELL GAME
This lawsuit is about shoring up his base and distracting voters from his atrocious handling of the economy, health care, (and everything else). A lot more people are ready to "throw the bums out" over these.
It hides the truth of the fed's shirking responsibility in immigration and, more cleverly, allows Obama to swap targets to a subject that will inflame fewer conservative and more liberal voters to rocket to the polls in November.
I am 100% behind Arizona, but - in the bigger picture of things - if we shift focus too much on this we are letting Obama CHOOSE HIS FIELD OF BATTLE. Baaaad idea!
A savvy warrior maneuvers his enemy into a swamp (John Bull at the Battle of New Orleans, e.g.) to get him bogged down and hamstring his efforts to regroup and counter-attack. Let's not let Obama do this to us. We have a country to save!
Deborah, do you mean Obama's passing bills and appointing people in secret only happening because we're 'bogged down' with AZ and not paying attention, for example?
Not entirely. It's all happening because it's his nature. But Arizona gives him cover.
How'd you like the budget bill - never passed, but "deemed" pass - to give a pass to dems in November who can say "I didn't vote for a big budget."
