Elbro, 'the trick is to know when' is right. geeeeZ will only be accepting rational, informed, respectful comments from now on....like the huge majority of my great commenters (and it's a privilege to have them here!) Differing viewpoints are, as always, welcome.

The trick is also to know "how".

Some things it seems to me we SHOULD get into, some best to walk away. Depends on what you have in mind.
(By the way, for a long time I've taken for granted that I'm going to get some kind of error message when I post something, and that I have to just keep backing up the browser before anything will post. Of course I always also save what I typed first. Is this a common problem for people here?)

Faith, Pris tells me she has that problem from time to time, too. I have no control, sadly.
Please read my comments....The last thing I'm suggesting here is we not get deeply into ANY subject.
But, I want the insults to stop, I want the "Dog chewing the man's pant hem and not letting go" to stop. Sometimes, we're not going to convince anybody on things political and everybody's journey is different, too, in re to other topics. I need that respected by everyone.
By the way, I only want it respected HERE, at my blog. What others want to do is TOTALLY fine with me, elsewhere!
I'm just grateful for good, open communication ...like Elmer's Brother said on the phone the other day "Our blog is our front porch, and we should only have guests there we want to have there"
