And soon it's time for Christmas!

"The remnants of autumn fighting against the beginning of the season of light!" (In Dortmund, Germany)

Mr. Z found this picture and wrote the caption, which I thought was a really beautiful, poetic way of describing the end of Autum and the start of the Holiday Season..............Enjoy!

There hasn't been a single leaf on any of my trees for weeks. I miss them already.

113*F? That's pretty hot! I don't remember it getting near that in Caracas.

113 degrees? GADS! We do get hot here in Texas in the summer, and I remember one summer that it was 115, but it's very rare.

That's a beautiful picture, Tap, and I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving.

Blessings! :)

It is very hot here in the summer. No sea breezes at all. It is different kind of heat altogether than what I was used to in Venezuela.
A/C is not a luxury here!
(113* in the sun, maybe only 98* 0r so in the shade)

We were told that the government fudges on the temperature reports so as not to discourage tourism!!!

Christmas is going to rock this season. You heard it here first. Don't ask me why just buy and run with it.

Christmas decorations have been adorning houses here in Florida since before Thanksgiving. I'm working on it. I think everyone is ready for a joyous season. May it be so.

Oooh, I love that picture.
I'm always slow to embrace the Christmas season, then I'm sad when it's over.
I think it's finally sinking in just now.

That's such a BEAUTIFUL picture. I love things that appear LUMINOUS like that.

As wonderful as old stained glass windows are in the great cathedrals (also luminous), NOTHING man-made can begin to compare with God's handiwork.
