Are they STILL so afraid of Sarah??

I'm listening to a reporter talk to Greta Van Susteren about how important it is for people to know about Palin and McCain not getting along ("false", says Palin), and about Palin's clothing bill, and Troopergate, etc etc.......you all know what I'm talking about.

But, then I was thinking "Wait, THAT stuff's supposedly so important about SARAH but, regarding Obama, it's NOT important to demand a real live birth certificate (just SHOW us, we can take it if it's real), or to say "Why did you lie about only knowing Ayers through your neighborhood when you were hired by him, worked with him, your wives worked together, he held your first campaign event in his house.." or "How COULD you sit for 20 years and not know Wright was a bigot and hates America?" or "How could you treat Joe the Plumber with such Brown Shirt tactics because he didn't agree with you?" or...or..or.....who DID pay for your Harvard education, and how the heck could you get a book deal for memoirs at such a young age and absolutely no writing experience and how is it the years your books came out are the only two years Ayers didn't come out with one of his 17 books? or... ...........FAR too many to write here.....FAR too many...... None of them are apparently important to the media and 52% of America!!!!

BUT.............it's SO important for us to hear every unfounded rumor about Sarah Palin? What is HAPPENING to us?

It's OVER, she LOST! Why are they STILL SO afraid of SARAH? heh heh

They are afraid of her because she represents a serious threat to their hero. I think by 2012 the buyers remorse will be rampant for most of the uncommitted who committed to "The One." Sarah should get into the congress in the near future and get some national exposure. She will be a serious player in 2012. The MSM will spend their time trashing her, but the people will fall in love with her. Sarah in 2012!!

They are afraid because they assume she'll want to try again. She attracts huge crowds, like Obama. She is adored by her supporters, like Obama. She is attractive with an attractive family, like Obama. Seeing the pattern here? She's a threat, that's why they are still afraid.

Her first post-election and rampant rumor phase interview will be with Greta on Fox, shown on Monday night. Greta's flying to Alaska to tape it. think Sarah should tell Oprah, Barbara and Larry, who are all actively pursuing her, to drop dead.

There's one other thing to remember. It's my understanding that there were some Romney staffers working for the McCain campaign.

Don't think for one minute that Romney wants to run against Palin for the nomination in 2012.

She has to come up against some in the GOP establishment too. I think they see her as a threat. I remind everyone, the Party resisted Reagan too. Remember how they insisted on Bush for VP in 1980? They thought Reagan was a cowboy, an actor, the same beltway elitism is still there.

They didn't love Reagan, with his California kitchen cabinet, the people did. The delegates did. Reagan made that happen, not the Party. He made it despite the Party.

Sarah Palin doesn't have the pedigree. That's how they think. She bucked the Party in Alaska. She made Republican enemies, but she succeeded. No one can tell me she doesn't have what it takes.

If others didn't think so too, they wouldn't be trashing her. Where's McCain to speak up for her? It's beginning to look like he used her and now is cutting her loose to twist in the wind. Trying to make her a scapegoat. I hope not.

My advice to Sarah palin would be to accept speaking engagements, travel to meet leaders in other countries, and make connections for fundraising and laying the groundwork for a canpaign.

More seasoning for her would be good and make her more well rounded in experience. Mostly she has to stay engaged in ways that the people will remember her, and expect her to run. And she needs people around her she can trust.

So, it's not just the left she has to confront, it's her own Party and the good old boy club who like to decide who will or will not run.

Right Side News is reporting that Justice Souter has demanded Obama to produce his birth certificate to SCOTUS by 1 December.

Does anyone know more than this?

Incognito said...

Look I loved Palin, but she does need to educate herself in world affairs the next 4 years or she's toast. they'd chew her up and spit her out within minutes.

Mustang,

It's a procedural matter. A formality. The defendant Obama must respond by December 1st, but it's unlikely Berg's case will be granted standing to proceed.

I got a melancholy laugh from a sentence in your linked article:

"I can see a unanimous Court (en banc) decertifying the election if Obama refuses to produce his birth certificate," says Raymond S. Kraft, an attorney and writer. "They cannot do otherwise without abandoning all credibility as guardians of the Constitution."

Did the author of that editorial sleep through the Kelo decision? Roe v. Wade? McConnell v. FEC?

Just saying.

Sarah was a wake up call to the future, This is what the media is trying to hide. If Sarah comes back in 2012, she will be the fire!!!

The entire left is TERRIFIED of Sarah because she's an effective conservative, period. She drew HUGE and animated crowds everywhere she went, so they smeared her and lied about her. In a week or so I'm going to write her a letter telling her that I'd LOVE to be her St. Johns County, FL campaign coordinator!

If we want the White House back from this fool, make no mistake, we will HAVE to get rid of the "soft" Republicanism represented by McCain and his lot. Blurring the lines between sides just does not work. It's SUCH a loser for McCain or some other RINO to say, "My cap and trade emissions program isn't nearly as severe as Obama's..."
As Ronald Reagan said we need BOLD differences, not pale pastels.

Every Republican is a vampire in need of a stake being driven through his/her heart.

Alinsky RULE 12: Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it." Cut off the support network and isolate the target from sympathy. Go after people and not institutions; people hurt faster than institutions.

RULE 5: "Ridicule is man's most potent weapon." There is no defense. It's irrational. It's infuriating. It also works as a key pressure point to force the enemy into concessions.

And it's no coincidence that the press is so Left leaning. If you want to do a story or interview with a liberal-left politician or celebrity... you'd better not be from Fox News.

Reward your friends and punish your enemies. That's the DNC way.

Howdy there, Z!

Karen,

You made some great comparisons when you said, "She attracts huge crowds, like Obama. She is adored by her supporters, like Obama. She is attractive with an attractive family, like Obama."
Of course, then comes the great contrast: UNLIKE O, she has substance where he only has style. Whence their abject fear & why they see the need to destroy her now before she has a chance to get up & running.

They are afraid of Palin because , in the voice of Arnold,
"She'll be baaaak!"

Ducky's here said...

We want you talking about Palin and we want her to be a force in Republican politics.

What you don't realize is that you lost support among a number of voting groups last election and some new groups were energized.

None of them are interested in Palin's fundamentalist message and reject it.

There fore we WANT the Republican party to become a clash between Mitt Romney who alienates the religious zealots and Palin who alienates everyone else.

When you mention Palin as a candidate, much as when you mentioned the zero Condo Rice, we just say "Go ahead, make my day."

Ducky they can't all be a blank canvas, some people actually have to take a stance on something because they can't rely on white guilt to get them elected.

Ducky's here said...

misfit, when Palin/McCheese, despite McCheese's liberal record on illegals got their teeth kicked in by Hispanics was that white guilt?

You think the Hispanic vote in New Mexico, Colorado and Nevada almost swung it for McCheese?

Keep up with the "white guilt" stuff and the rest of the nonsense. The longer you avoid looking at what happened and what got repudiated the better for us.

We are BEGGING you to keep Palin in front of the nation. BEGGING !!!

z, why the suggestion of sadomasochism in the pic.

That's always been a big attraction for the right wing. It's a very well developed theme in reference to the Waffen SS especially. There are any number of excellent films, generally taken from novels, on the subject.

I loved Sarah Palin at first and I am still with her on substance, and hope she can put to rest the lying attacks on her which are unconscionable. But she started to wear thin on me eventually as she kept repeating the same lines, and even her initially attractive down-home style and accent started to wear on me. As for the substance, she did begin to come across as less informed than a candidate ought to be. I think she needs to work both on style and on substance if she has ambitions beyond this run with John McCain. She COULD be formidable. She has the right ideas, the guts and the determination to pull it off but I think she needs work.

Ducky's here said...

Fine, jm but the point remains that white guilt was a non issue in this election.

Hi Ducky,
Is Palin's pro-life record what you consider her fundamentalist message or is it more than that?

I thought all the candidates considered themselves Christians. Why is Palin derided as 'fundamentalist'? Are you suggesting the other three candidates were somewhat less sincere in their faith?

What you don't realize is that you lost support among a number of voting groups last election and some new groups were energized.

hey duhkkky nearly half the electorate disagrees with you...

the problem with the Republicans is they've tried to be moderate to attract democrats and in the process have made themselves obsolete

conservatism wasn't defeated...Republicans were

the exit polls bear this out along with the propositions on the definition of marriage

the 3% or so who voted for Obama vs McCain were the same people who said they were more interested in history than in what Obama was for

nobody knows what he's for except a bigger gubmint

so lay off the high horse unless, you were the same one complaining about your half of the country being alienated and not represented...were liberal democrats defeated then?

Tio, because Palin is part of a religious tradition that is guided by revealed knowledge.

No, when her's or your revealed knowledge conflicts with mine then we have a serious problem.

I consider the evangelical message to be largely guided by fear, hate and a lack of generosity.

Now again, if you want to put a woman who has the brains of a bag of hammers in front of the nation again do it.

The left has an unfortunate responsibility when confronted with the evangelical right. Contain it or destroy it. I wish it weren't that ugly a choice but you are doing a lot to write the rules. You have been the ones questioning and insulting anyone who doesn't by your particular revealed truth.
Well we've seen where that has gotten us the last eight years.

You represent a far greater immediate threat to my country through than extremist Muslims. They aren't voting.

elmers brother said...

No, when her's or your revealed knowledge conflicts with mine then we have a serious problem.

the problem duhkky is your and your ilks revealed knowledge has no basis in a standard and changes with the wind

SO you'll ALWAYS be the serious problem

mustn't let any convictions no matter how derived enter the political arena otherwise you can't be the everyman Obama and Biden are

LOL!

Is that because he's blowing up buildings like Ayers did or cutting off heads?

We just want to be left alone with our values intact duhhhhhhkkkky instead of you and the left trying to tear them down at every change in the political/social wind

and because your values are fluid and dynamic theres no way that our lives/values would ever be something you wouldn't want to destroy

but go ahead duhhhhhhkkkkky see how long your headlong run into secular humanism lasts

those millions of losers in the former USSR are crying out from their graves

Hello Madame Z. Obama won. Gott hilf uns. J'Mac.

Oh my, Ducky....this is too easy to repute:
Here's Ducky's thinking: White guilt was not an issue because Hispanics voted largely for obama.

I see. (WHAT??!!!)(by the way, Duck..did you notice MANY Cubans, who've LIVED under socialism and escaped socialism voted for McCain? OOPS)

As for sadomasochism, Ducky...that cracked me up, too. From the one who's continuously standing up for gay rights while he condemns everyone to homosexuality (if they're on the Right but champions gays on the left!!!), called a female American candidate whatever you called her..brain and hair? SO unbelievably cruel and nasty...
you're amazing.

And OH, are you scared of Palin! Picture this, DUCKY: ROmney and Palin.
Unbeatable.>ESPECIALLY after obama's four years.
I bet a THOU now that he'll never be ASKED to run again. This would be amusing if he couldn't do SO much damage to this great country in only six months and appears to be set to do so. (Rohm Emanuel is CHANGE, right, Ducky!?!!)

All he'd have had to do to get this stock market he drove down to get back up, and fast, was say yesterday "I'm not raising Cap gains taxes" did he? OF COURSE not...he's POISED, Ducky....get your money under your mattress..and QUICK.

Tio Bowser...great remark, but Ducky's frightfully scared of PROTESTANTS!! Him being a Jesus-believin' Roman Catholic, dontcha know. Well, he's never answered me on that, but I figure he MUST be if he attends church as he says he does. But, it's OKAY for HIM to follow Jesus, for Kerry and Obama (IF Jesus IS Black) to follow Jesus, but NOT PALIN because SHE LIVES HER FAITH.
and, by the way,Ducky...extremist muslims aren't voting, they're just manning phone banks for obama. !!!!

And, one who adheres closely to the bible, the ONLY (ONLY) Book which informs Christianity, is TOO FUNDAMENTALIST? What, should she consult Oprah or Marianne Williamson and THEN she's a GOOD CHRISTIAN?

"CONTAIN OR DESTROY?" WOW..TYPICAL LEFT. Sort of like their behavior to Joe Plumber and the Florida newswoman who DARED challenge Biden? YIKES, Ducky....you wearing YOUR Brown Shirt today?

Folks: SARAH PALIN IS A CROSS TO A VAMPIRE. The LIGHT is BLINDING.

Folks...you all got the answer! JEOPARDY WOULD BE PROUD OF YOU!! They are SO SO afraid of Palin because she's smart, she's good and she's on her way......confident, unstoppable. Paired with Romney, she'll be AMAZING. Wait for it.

Sorry I swat Ducky around more than I might want to here...but he's just so sure and so wrong that I can't help it! It's kind of fun to see his FEATHERS fly...

WHAT DO YOU PEOPLE THINK OF ROMNEY/PALIN?

Anonymous said...

Z, I love that picture..

Ducky,
So is your problem with Palin that she is part of the evangelical tradition? I thought Obama insisted that he was a part of that same tradition.

Is being part of the tradition enough to disqualify someone from office, or is it a policy position of hers that bothers you? If it is a policy, which one?

--Tio Bowser

Law and Order Teacher said...

Z,
I agree with your comments, however, I would say Palin/Romney. We conservatives (you notice I didn't say Republicans) have to stick to our principles and not look back. The Republicans tried to be something different and it cost them. I think Sarah will speak to us and run as a conservative, not a member of a political party. Run on principles not on party tags. It will all work out in the end. As for ducky, don't listen to him he's a contrarion who is trying stir up the masses. He couldn't possibly believe in the crap he puts out.

Anyone who believes BO won on ideology is deluding themselves. He won because of the circumstances. He has already called for more spending, asking for another stimulus and an extension of unemployment bennies. It begins.

The Vegas Art Guy said...

How about Jindal/Palin?

That should scare the crap out of the left.

Or Palin/Jindal doesn't matter to me...

Tio, Ducky doesn't answer direct questions and, if he can't insult, you won't hear from him. but good questions all.

Law and Order....I agree ; the election was ALL circumstances and I think mcCain's running to DC to 'solve the problem' lost us the election.

Vegas.....Jindal/Palin...Palin/Jindal. I'd be thrilled either way. I am just glad McCain didn't run with Jindal as VP; it looked like McCain was his great great grandfather when he stood up there next to Jindal!

I have to thank Ducky for the advice to conservatives. After all if what he said were true, he'd keep his mouth shut!

We all know how much he cares about the welfare of conservatives.

Keep the advice coming Ducky, then we'll be up on what you all are really worried about.

Remember, there still hasn't been a woman President!
