No he wouldn't get away with it, thank God.
McCain is "just" an American. He knows changing the world IS above his pay grade. He also knows he is a mere mortal. But, he does love America.

Of course not, Palin can't even get away with saying she is going to work with the Senate.
It isn't AMERICA or the CONSTITUTION or the fundamentals of the Founding Fathers that need changing; it's the SIZE, PROPENSITY and core PHILOSOPHY of our government that needs change.
Local, city, county, state and federal governments DON'T have a REVENUE problem; they have SPENDING problems.

There have been some world changing Presidents.
Jimmy Carter, for example, kept America from fighting communism's rise in 14 different nations. To that end, he even kept America out of the Moscow Olympics.
Oh, wait. You meant positive change...
The phrase "change the world" is so naive, no so BS, that it is hard to believe that BO has mesmirized so many people with his bogus, platitude filled campaign. America is such a celebrity-worship culture that BO is made to order for his worshippers. He will be such a disaster for the US, I only hope we can recover from his four years. BO will be like one of those times in your life when you clear your head and say what was I thinking? I was appalled that Clinton beat Dole in 96. Dole was a war hero, Clinton was a sleazy piece of garbage without any morals. Sometimes life isn't fair. I hope we survive until Sarah can get ahold of BO in 2012 and kick his butt.

Oh man! I wish all y'all coulda been in church with us this morning! Our pastor preached up a firestorm! He never mentioned the election, or any candidate's name, as he never does. But he certainly hit the nail on the head! He was preaching on Matthew 24 & end times as he has been in a series on it for a few weeks. Man, he pre
ached overtime & it seemed like it'd been maybe 5 minutes in all! He was preaching & crying & shouting all at the same time! He's almost 80, but seems about 35! He was reminding us that this life is fleeting & we'd best be looking to Christ in faith as our only Hope, whether we live or die. What a message! Kinda puts the correct perspective on thangs! OK, forgive my barging in, I just had to share that! God Bless.
