Surprise someone!

I'm getting back on my sermon soapbox again because I just came home only to find on my front porch a Happy St Pat's card and the MOST beautiful shamrock plant. I'm not sure I'd ever seen one.... The clovers are very large and there are tiny, lovely white flowers exactly like those in the picture here....
I left this morning through my back door and I guess my neighbors across the street had left the plant on my front porch last night....for no reason at all.....So, I'm asking you all to do something REALLY surprising and kind for someone else very soon. I'm still smiling from the sheer kindness and also the beauty of the flowers. Make someone smile....it felt SO good :-)

How nice Z, and what a lovely surprise for you. And, what nice neighbors you have.

You see, I told you Armenian is the "New Irish"! You have shamrocks to prove it.

Seriously though, kindness begets kindness, and you surely qualify for that.

That was really nice.

My hubs did something nice for me tonight. He glued a crown back in my mouth! We were just at the dentist last week, and today, a crown fell off. Sigh! :( I can't get into see him until a week from Monday. I hope it stays on that long!

I've believed for years that doing "good deeds" is the best way to beat thee blues.

Oprah calls this process performing "Random Acts of Kindness."

Never mind Oprah's politics, she's absolutely SPOT ON about THIS.

So glad YOU were a target of this beautiful thought, Z.It could just be that people around you understand your needs better than you think.

Good will can be as infectious as crankiness -- and it's MUCH more constructive.

Pris, right about what you'd said about Armenian being the "new Irish!"..funny!
I have to admit I've done VERY little and hardly know these neighbors across the street, though..they're just exceptionally nice people.
Boy, did that give me a lift, just looking at the lovely plant was so nice.

Linda!! a husband who does dental work!! I hope it stays in, too! Good luck!

Lovely....give them a smile, it'll kill 'em! :-)

FT..you're SO right about kindnesses...Oprah WAS right on that one!

That's great Z!

I received a package in the mail from a sweet high school friend that I haven't spoken to in over 6 years. She sent me a beautiful set of windchimes (I LOVE windchimes) with a wonderful note saying that God continues to whisper my name in her ear. She recently lost a very close friend to cancer and wanted to tell me that she loves me and that I mean a lot to her.

I'm so humbled.
