BEAT PELOSI

JOHN DENNIS is running as a "Pro Liberty Republican" against Nancy Pelosi....HERE is his site and I STRONGLY urge you to watch the interview with Judge Napolitano that's there on video for all to see. The guy's a bit more Libertarian than some of us are but I think that's what you need to be in a town like San Francisco, where he feels he has enough support to carry on a campaign. The guy's smart and very worth a look.
Please, we're ALL strapped financially right now, I know that...but if you've got a few extra bucks, every dollar helps. There's a place on that site at which you can DONATE...I am going to.
ANYTHING TO BEAT PELOSI.

HERE is another person running on the Republican side, Dana Walsh, you might want to look into her campaign, too. (thanks, Pris, for bringing both of them to our attention)

Dennis just looks like the kind of person we need in the US Senate.

Sorry to say this, but there are just TOO MANY WOMEN and TOO MANY BLACKS in American politics.

Whether you like to admit it or not, those phenomena ALONE have done a great deal to precipitate the big downhill slide we've been experiencing since Ike left office.

Sounds really really good. I don't have a problem with his foreign policy but I imagine other conservatives might. Other problem areas - supports getting rid of the income tax as I do but this is still a very minority position. All in all I don't really have a problem with the guy but good luck.

Z-man...I hope you comment on my BRING SOLDIERS HOME NOW? blog just below...I'd like your input. He does sound good, so does Walsh...

FreeThinker, there are plenty of Black Americans I'd LIKE to see in Congress; none of whom are there now, sadly. I think you'd agree Star Parker would be on top of YOUR list, right? :-) I remember you admire her very much. as do I.
I admire your saying what you did here...it takes a lot of guts for people to realize they can say that without sounding racist or anti-woman.
I'd venture to say that the WOMEN and BLACKS you are bemoaning are mostly far-left and that's the reason you're against them, more than sex or color, but I don't presume to speak for you on this.

I have to admit there are women I'd like to see in Congress, too, and there are a few now who aren't terrible....I hope you'd agree!!?

Obviously anyone would be better than Pelosi, but you've got to make sure you're not trading one whack-a-doo for another. Too many whackjobs in the formal Big-L Libertarian Party and not enough libertarians for my taste, and I say that as a former volunteer for the LP.

Beamish, this guy sounds pretty level headed..and Walsh isn't Libertarian.

But, you make a good point.
Except I'd take ANY LIBERTARIAN over PELOSI, ANY DAY. Wouldn't you?

Actually, to get rid of Pelosi I'd pick almost anyone!

I am planning to donate. I just have to see what more I can find out about each one.

I received a mailer from the Dennis campaign, and a phone call from the Walsh campaign.

They're smart to go statewide to raise money. Pelosi is a tough nut to crack, but so was Martha Coakly in Mass.

FT, I'm inclined to agree with you about women, but if you look for the Thatcher factor, by which I mean a strong, woman with inner toughness and love of country, she'd be a winner.

I'm thinking of Sarah Palin, and Michelle Bachman, both gutsy American women, who love America.

The same for black candidates. A conservative black candidate, by the very fact of being an open conservative, has already proven he's got the wherewithall to go against the liberal tide in his community.

Just for the record my problem with Blacks and Women in politics is that most of the ones we have there now got in simply and primarily BECAUSE they are Black and/or Women of a LIBERAL bent.

It's NEVER really been about Black v. White or Man v. Woman, it's been about pushing the MARXIST/COMMUNIST/SOCIALIST/LIBERAL/PROGRESSIVE/TOTALITARIAN Agenda.

MOST of thee blacks and Women in positions of power and influence today are crypto-Marxists, whether they know it or not.

If only we could get to the stage where it's NEVER about race, religion, ethnicity or sex, but strictly about INTELLIGENCE, JUDGMENT and VALUES, we'd be fine, but because of "Identity Politics," we're very very badly screwed up.

My liberal friends never for an INSTANT thought beyond Obmama's BLACKNESS in their mindless fanatical support of him.

I hope this clears things up regarding the way I think?

It's the same problem with EVERY so-called VICTIM group. Gay Liberation supports only RADICAL-LEFTIST GAYS, who are almost uniformly obnoxious. Black and Women's Liberation follow the same pattern.

I think the world of Starr Parker, and still have a lot of respect for Condoleezza Rice, even though her performance was a disappointment (too many women as Sec'y of State!!!)

For every Maggie Thatcher, you have a thousand Nancy Pelosis, Barbara Boxers, Bella Abzugs, Molly Yards, Rosa di Lauros, and Lynne Stewarts.

PITIFUL!

PS: Sorry to say it, but from the two pictures Ms. Walsh looks just a we bit mummified -- a little too reminiscent of Kay Bailey Hutcheson -- whereas Mr. Dennis looks vigorous, genial, dynamic and kind.

I'd have to hear them speak and read a few things they've written before I could get serious about either one, BUT I'd rather see GODZILLA elected to the senate, if it meant the political DEMISE of Nancy Lugosi, the Creature from Hell's Bowels.

I generally don't approve of hatred, but I HATE that woman more than anyone ELSE in the corps of Washington's Power-Elites.

Yes, Sandy, Pelosi hs got to go -- whatever it takes.

I don't know why I didn't think of this before, but we should start calling her PELOUSY, because that's what she is.

PHEW!

For some reason of all the unholy power elite running Washington right now I resent Pelousy the most.

He has as much chance of defeating Pelosi as he has of taking a banana away from a gorilla.
