That's gotta be some skunky beer...

1 gallon = 128 fluid ounces

Show me eleven 12 oz. beers you can get for less than $3.45 and I'll show you some nasty swill.

I don't even think you can get Milwaukee's Beast for that cheap.

I saw a news person when gas prices were really high before at a gas station once asking the patrons which was more expensive: the bottle of water they just bought or their gas. They always replied heartily: the gas! This wasn't the case at all; at least per ounce. The increase of gas of one dollar for a person who fills his fifteen gallon tank up once a week amounts to about sixty dollars a month. If that makes a person feel bad he should consider this: Last year the government spent 1.4 trillion dollars above what it took in. If there are 311 million Americans, then that means that it spent 4500 dollars per every man woman and child above what it took in. For a family of four that means $18,000. Suddenly gas sounds real cheap.

Ya only pay rent on drinks anyway....

Drink it, carry it around for a bit, then let it go, hopefully in a toilet.

it's a joke.

Dan, pretty amazing amount there...and still rising, like the numbers at McDonald's!

There are a number of high quality micro brews or imports like top Belgian wheat beers that are more expensive than gas by far.

Ducky, Wolfgang Puck used to have a restaurant very near me and had amazing microbrewery beers there....it finally closed but you're right, those beers were pricey! Definitely "PREMIUM" at the pump/tap!

Don't drink beer, drink water. Water is cheaper by far, and it all turns to "toilet water" in a few hours anyway.

Pee is still pee, and it all winds up in the same place regardless of what produces it.

Cure yourself of alcoholism quickly and easily:

Whenever you're tempted to drink an "adult" beverage, just remember you're imbibing tomorrow's flow of urine.

Very cute Z. Now, a scotch and water, that's different story, at least up to now anyway.

How did this turn into bathroom humor? Relax, it's a joke!

It might be more to the point to ask why, if brew is cheaper than fossil fuel, someone hasn't yet made a vehicle that runs on beer?

What a fortune could then be made in the growing of malt and hops!

PS: Drinking beer always tends to make most people think about locating the nearest toilet right fast. Nothing humorous about it when it becomes a dire necessity. ;-)
