Ayers, Obama, Dohrn, Farrakhan......and a different question

ALERT: OHIO JUDGE RULES AGAINST OHIO SECRETARY OF STATE FOR NOT GIVING NAMES OF REGISTRANTS ACCUSED OF BREAKING THE LAW. JUDGE NAMES ACORN AS PART OF THIS SITUATION; MORE NEWS WHEN AVAILABLE (but, then, you'll all have heard about it by then!! READ!! Democrats considering Obama...READ. It's only American Democracy at stake!! (Odd that I have this story before Yahoo Homepage, RIGHT? Ya, right.. not) UPDATE: 2 hours later....it's still not on Yahoo. (SURPRISE!)

Please read this article by Dana Milbanks of the Washington Post. It says a lot about Barack Obama and his history: facts and figures. There isn't much to understand before you'd jump to a conclusion that he shouldn't pass any security clearance in this country let alone get the keys to the White House front door. The radio's full today of this government/FBI security clearance the man probably couldn't pass if he told the truth about his alliances, etc.

I have a question that came to me today: Everybody's SO upset about how Obama's a friend of Bill Ayers. Ya, that's bad, we all should be upset. How could we not? He's known who Ayers was and what he did since he was conscious enough to make a choice to join Socialist front groups during his stint as state senator. Imagine the Kool-Aid drinkers reminding us he was only seven when Ayers bombed and killed because he didn't appreciate our government's stances? Who cares how old Obama was then? What relevance does it have!?

Here's my question: SHOULDN'T WE BE MUCH MORE WORRIED THAT BILL AYERS HAS SUPPORTED OBAMA? What's it about Obama that Bill Ayers and his wife, Bernardine Dohrn (who worked with Michelle Obama in the same law firm, wild coincidence, huh?!) like so much?

Or how about Louis Farrakhan (who clearly calls Obama 'the Messiah' you won't believe this video if you've not seen it before!)? What's appealing to him about Obama? How about ol' Jeremiah "God D America" Wright? (20 YEARS in a church hearing his sermons, an 'uncle figure', but Barack didn't know his feelings toward Whites or Americans?) etc etc etc etc....

SO....same ol', same ol'....the big news is all about Obama's choice to befriend and still work on boards with Ayers. It's BIGGER THAN THAT..............think about this: WHAT IS IT THAT BILL, BERNARDINE AND LOUIS FIND SO ADMIRABLE IN OBAMA? Isn't that a viable point, too? THEY like him. WE know why, why doesn't America ASK???

Here's what I just this very moment heard on ABC talk radio news: "the McCain campaign has a new ATTACK AD questioning the fact that Obama's served on 2 boards with Ayers since 1995. They say this questions his judgment and candor" hmmm Shouldn't it?? "ATTACK" ad?

By the way, my sitemeter is showing a LOT of hits on my September 23 article (from the WSJ) about Bill Ayers and Obama. FACTS. The hits are addresses I don't recognize, coming in through a Google search...people are looking. You think they'll at least CONSIDER the information!?? BEFORE VOTING?! Maybe putting this link on today's article might get them to read my question? I hope so.

By the way...I just now heard a clip of Obama saying that HE FEELS WE NEED TO GET TO THE ISSUES AND McCAIN HAS GONE OFF THE ISSUES AND ALL HE'S TALKING ABOUT HIS HIS NON-FRIENDSHIP WITH AYERS BECAUSE HE DOESN'T WANT TO TALK ABOUT WHAT THE AMERICAN PEOPLE WANT TO KNOW ABOUT.

My opinion? Mr. McCain is right in finally emphasizing this alliance and others. WE want to know about CHARACTER. People of CHARACTER do NOT befriend and launch their career in an unrepentent terrorist and his terrorist wife's living room. People of CHARACTER don't TALK to or shake hands with people who've done what the Ayers' have, people of CHARACTER don't serve on boards with people like that.

People of CHARACTER don't vote for a man who misrepresents his alliances (ACORN, AYERS, ALINSKY-following, KENYAN TERROTIST support, etc etc etc...) to the voters. Unless they've been victims of Alinsky's teachings. Herein lies our biggest problem:

"There's another reason for working inside the system. Dostoevski said that taking a new step is what people fear most. Any revolutionary change must be preceded by a passive, affirmative, non-challenging attitude toward change among the mass of our people. They must feel so frustrated, so defeated, so lost, so futureless in the prevailing system that they are willing to let go of the past and change the future. This acceptance is the reformation essential to any revolution. To bring on this reformation requires that the organizer work inside the system, among not only the middle class but the 40 per cent of American families - more than seventy million people - whose income range from $5,000 to $10,000 a year [in 1971]. They cannot be dismissed by labeling them blue collar or hardhat. They will not continue to be relatively passive and slightly challenging. If we fail to communicate with them, if we don't encourage them to form alliances with us, they will move to the right. Maybe they will anyway, but let's not let it happen by default.” (Saul Alinsky)

Obama knows we're ripe. So do Bill Ayers and Louis Farrakhan.

Oooh Z, I'm glad I get to go first!

May I say that I believe that this election is not gonna go like a bunch of people (mostly on the left & media, yes I know that's redundant!) believe that it is. I believe that on election day a whole pile of libs are gonna be swallowing real hard! Holding back the rage & tears because I believe McCain/Palin are going to win. Of course I don't know that, but I believe there is a much bigger grassroots movement in heartland, real America than most of the media & dems want to admit to themselves. I really believe that decent folk like yourself, Z, are going to the polls with fire in our chests & eyes & vote for McCain/Palin in such numbers that it can't be falsified. I believe teh sleeping giant of conservatives has been awakened & fired up. I hope I'm right & I believe I am. Time will tell. 3 weeks. God Bless America.

Character is important. Even Obama told us, “Words matter.” When words are lies, and lying is a character flaw, then it definitely relates to a presidential election.

So, I cannot agree that publicity about Obama’s associations unfairly malign Obama’s integrity. Granted, there is too much BS floating around on the internet, including accusations that he attended an Islamic school, and/or that he isn’t an American and is therefore ineligible for the presidency. A child doesn’t choose what school his parents send him to, and the issue of fraudulent birth records is silly.

What isn’t ridiculous is Obama’s association with the radical left, his meteoric rise under the tutelage of George Soros, this affiliation with the Woods Fund and ACORN, and the people he chose to do business or politic with (Ayers, Khalidi), the racism of black theology and Wright/Farrakhan — the things you (and others) have brought to our attention.

Now consider that in a criminal trial, no jury would convict Obama, a very slick lawyer. In criminal proceedings, juries must determine whether guilt passes the “beyond a reasonable doubt” test. In civil trials, the bar is lower . . . culpability is determined by a “preponderance of the evidence.” If we use the lower test, then we must say that there is a preponderance (or weight) of evidence that not only is Obama a liar, he is also not trustworthy, and he does not deserve the confidence of the American people. In a stench test, we’d have to conclude that there’s a dead fish around here somewhere.

None of these issues addresses the war, economy, or health care; but if we cannot trust Obama at his word, why should we believe any of his campaign promises? If we cannot have confidence in his character, his honesty, his judgment, or his motivation . . . why should we elect him?

It isn't what Bill Ayer's saw in Obama that has me puzzled. It's what Bill's dad saw in him...

I mean, even Bill didn't get on the boards of all those trusts all by himself.

Steve Diamond has more on the Obama-Ayers connection than anyone. If anyone "made" Obama a goodfellah in the Chicago mafia, it must have been Ayers.

CJ said...

Milbanks was trying to make all those truths about Obama look idiotic, though, and probably succeeded with many.

Finally McCain and Palin do what we've all been complaining they weren't doing enough of and the Obama campaign spins it as simply an attempt to distract from the "real" issues. No, you are right, THESE are the real issues. These are what Obama is all about and why we don't want him in office.

I'm sure they know that, of course, but they also know how to spin. They really do follow the program, don't they? Such as that quote from Alinsky. The country is full of dupes.

CJ said...

I guess we can continue to hope that that bunch of bluecollar/ hardhats that were 40% or over 70 million in 1971 are a bigger bunch now and smart enough to move to the right in reaction to the attempts to infiltrate them.

Now Obama has this ad out picturing him as a true American with American roots. THAT's what they do. Prove they aren't American and they'll just lie in your face denying it.

Beam me up, Lord.

Z said...

David...I'm HOPING and PRAYING you're right..thanks for coming by!!

Mustang..Character is EVERYTHING. We can't have a poseur, as cj suggests, suddenly being SO AMERICAN when NOTHING (ZERO) of what he's done has been FOR his country. 3 years in the senate, is it? And 2 of those years running for President? no Confidence, NO PRESIDENT (Please!)

cj...Milbanks is writing for the Washington Post, he can't leave the plantation TOO completely? That would be like David Brooks, who writes for the NYSlimes, actually BEING the conservative he professes to be. The minute the Left hauls off and hits him, he's all "deer in the headlights" > and I used to admire him. I admire Pat Cadell MUCH MUCH more than him.

Anybody see Pat Cadell tonight on H&C, yelling that Beckell's a JERK for standing up for ACORN when it really IS nothing but a voter fraud expert group? I LOVE DEM PAT CADELL!!

CJ...Does Obama have a cowboy hat on yet?

beam me up, Lord, but I like this life a LOT...give me a little time, okay?

The market was at 14,100 -plus exactly one year ago. Today, it ended around 8,500 -- a decline of 40% in twelve months.

Unfortunately all of this will be successfully used against Republicans by [falsely] associating it with the deregulation policies of this and earlier Republican administrations.

With the bottom dropping out of everything, unemployment will skyrocket, goods and services will become scarce, and our standard of living will drop precipitously. We will be forced to get back to basics in a hurry.

Come to think of it that might be a blessing disguise.

However, the root cause of the current crisis can be laid at the feet of Democrats who pushed for legislation that forced banks to give mortgages to unqualified buyers in the names of "fairness" -- as the left always does. Anyone who opposed the policy (or tries to place blame where it belongs today) automatically qualifies as a "racist" in thee minds of these
raving lunatics who have dynamited away the foundations of American liberty, security and prosperity.

Unfortunately, the antics on Wall Street, where big shots obviously worked the situation imposed on them by the Democrats to the advantage of top-ranking financiers, have dwarfed every other issue. The advantage taken by high executives looks and feels "obscene" to most people.

Ironically, many of these top level executives and financiers are BIG Democrats who sympathized with unsound policies all the while raking in huge piles of dough, which they kept --- for THEMSELVES.

The sheeple are not informed, and are basically a bunch of mindless trend-followers. Therefore, they are impervious to reason, and will easily be goaded into voting us into ruin.

If only McCain had USED all the negative information on Obrother (known and frequently reported on the net for several MONTHS) and hit hard with determined steely rhetoric, MccCain would have knocked The Black Knight off his charger and left him maimed in the dirt covered in a cloud of dust.

But McCain -- like all Republicans today (remember they gave the Democrats no opposition when they moved against Newt Gingrich, Bob Livingstone, Henry Hyde, Helen Chenoweth and Tom Delay, et al) -- has wanted to act like a "gentleman."

Sorry, but "gentlemen" went out with Queen Victoria.

Unless a miracle occurs, an Obama presidency is inevitable. Democrats lie, cheat, steal, and probably even kill to get their way -- and they ALWAYS get away with it. But if a Republican so much as breaks wind at public gathering, the entire press corps and punditry will write PHEW!!! WHAT A STENCH! on every front page in the land, and talk endlessly about the horrible smells Republicans make for weeks.

It's awful, but that's the way it is. There's no getting around it.

David Wyatt, you are 100% correct in your pick of the winners. The one biggest thing in NOBAMA's past---and present, which is going to kill his chances of EVER being President of this great country is ACORN! As more and more undecided Americans hear about all the bullshit they're pulling in their drive to get more voters, they will decide on McCain/Palin. I don't know how big Lou Dobbs audience is, but they heard tonight that the NOBAMA campaign PAID ACORN $800,000 to register voters! THAT will be a HARD PILL for America loving citizens to swallow.

Ayers is a stain on Obama's reputation that cannot be wiped out. It's there to stay and that's a good thing.

O'Reilly had a segment on ACORN tonight as well, with Laura Ingrahm discussing the Obama, ACORN connection.

He also talked about the Sandlers (the couple parodied on SNL last Saturday), who donated millions to move-on, the ACLU, and other left wing groups. They made over 2 billion dollars selling bad paper (from sub-prime loans)to Wachovia.

O'Reilly is the first one I've heard on TV, use the words, "there's something nefarious about this" (economic crisis).

That thought has occurred to me as well, but this meltdown seems so convoluted it's difficult to wrap your arms around how it was accomplished, purposefully.

I can tell you all, the average person is not disengaged. Don't discount the American people.

If the Obama campaign was not concerned about this story they wouldn't be throwing race accusations around. They don't seem to take an Obama victory for granted.

If we are to blame anyone for being uninformed, blame the media for avoidance and obfuscation of the truth.

Poor Ducky... I believe he's going to be sad after the next debate. McCain didn't have a chance to bring this up during the last debate, Quacker, he wasn't asked the right questions!

Z, Brokaw did a terrible job on the last debate. The questions were totally redundant - most of the material already having been covered in the campaign ads and rallys. Now that McCain's ad brings up Obama's association with Ayers - that subject must be brought up in Wednesday's debate. Sorry, Ducklett.

Regarding Obama's friends, lets not forget Hamas. After all, they endorsed him. Sheesh!

Great post! :)

Don't you all wonder why Ducky hasn't commented on THIS article?
He never commented re: my Rosenberg article which showed they did lie, either.

BTW I also did a blog on this subject today, please take a look.

Ignore the compelling evidence that your guy's an ALinsky-loving, terrorist-embracing, hero of Farrakhan and you pick out a dumb line like that.

This whole situation is disgusting Z. The idea that votes are being bought or can be bought is awful and scary. The fact they use strong arm tactics to intimidate honest good people into re-registering is horrible.

I honestly think this election should be postponed until this is all sorted through and cleared up.

Bush is a stable leader - the nation would and could and can handle it.

We need to clean the dirt Obama is leaving in his trail to have a fair election. My G-d what is this nation coming to?

Ducky's here said...

The election should be postponed?

Thanks Hugo.

Layla, I'd go for postponement,too.
By the time people wake up to what they stupidly voted for, it'll be too late.
It's really very upsetting, isn't it.

Imagine being a liberal and considering "this is GREAT! I'm voting for a guy who despots support, who Farrakhan refers to as the 'messiah', who air head celebs and indoctrinated students and Marxists all over the world are pulling for! I'm voting for a guy who won't give up his health records, supports and worked for ACORN (which Dem Pat Cadell says is known to be a mostly voter fraud group), whose wife didn't love America till her husband got the nod, who has many alliances with Bill Ayers and never revealed his and Ayers' wives worked together!, who attended a church for 20 years and says he doesn't remember the sermons mostly talk of White hatred and America hatred (BIG applause from Black congregants...he didn't notice?)...who won't tell us what scholarship paid for Harvard, who wnats us to believe a publisher approached a college graduate with "Hey, write your memoirs and we'll send you to the beach until you're finished writing!"...and so much more, of course.. Cool! JUST the kind of guy I'd vote for, right!? LOL!

heck, he's so duplicitous he won't even have a cigarette in public. And the word is he's not been able to quit like he's said he did a year ago. But, just another thing to keep QUIETTTT!!

Oh, no..nothing to do with Hugo, Ducky. Just good sense.

Obama's obfuscated long enough and the media's complicity has covered for him for a long time, too.

His camp must be astonished that this stuff's finally coming out OR they're thrilled it's 'too late'.

Maybe YOU think the kind of voter fraud ACORD has perpetuated is good and you don't care about democracy, but most of us do.

No Hugo....except on the voter fraud, of course. Lots of similarities there..

ONE MAN'S OPINION

"Truth"? You say you want truth? Listen to what my outspoken friend wrote just this morning. I fervently hope he is wrong, but ...

Ready?

Here goes:

Easier finance --> Housing prices increase --> Defaults on mortgage loans decrease = Perceived risk to other (i.e., hedge fund) investors declines --> More capital flows to mortgage lending --> Still easier finance ... and around and around we go, until wearrive at our presenst state of ruin.

Housing prices had increased by nearly 90% from 2000-2006, something absoutely unprecedented in our history. It happened as a result of these packaged mortgage instruments, which were created as a result of legislation that forced banks and other lending institutions to grant mortgages -- with no down-payment -- to manifestly unqualified buyers.

And yet, it is the investment bankers who ruled the economy. They did it by outwitting foolish, restrictive government policy. Because there was no regulation of Credit Default Swaps and things like that, the mortgage brokers built up the bubble, and then they collapsed it at the appointed time by knocking their own companies down. Lehman Bros. and Bear Stearns didn't mean anything to the people who owned and operated them. They long ago made their own personal fortunes and arranged for their money to be safe and sound, while they deliberately let everyone else go down the drain.

"Money makes money. But what makes money make money?"

- Henry Miller

And the purpose of all these machinations?

Simply to reduce Western countries to Second World living standards. The overlords and masters don't want all these comfortably off serfs running around loose. This process of destruction has been going on since the creation of the Federal Reserve and the imposition of the Income tax in 1913.

In the 1950's most people owned own homes mortgaged at reasonable set rates, and only the man worked to support the family. Now both parents work to pay for daycare, much heavier mortgage payments, and a load of luxuries and services that no one really needs. Home and family life has all-but disappeared.

But every generation's better off than their parents, isn't it?

The average debt right now is something like $80,000 per person in America. We are infinitely poorer in real terms than our parents and grandparents and their parents and grandparents before them. What's been happening slowly-but-surely since the imposition of the Income Tax and the establishment of the Federal Reserve is the planned destruction of the American middle class.

This is Communism made manifest pure and simple. The reduction of the world once more to feudalism, with a class of masters, and a vast disenfranchised population of serfs kept ruthlessly under control by an army of moderately compensated supervisors.

The fiends who are responsible for this first engineered the Great Depression, and then imposed Socialism on us through the New Deal. That was Phase One. Now, we are entering Phase Two --- the second Great Depression.

The Black Knight, who is nothing but a puppet of the Overlords who rule from the shadows, will portray himself as The FDR of Our Time, and come charging into Washington ostensibly to "save" us, but will, instead, fulfill the destiny engineered for us nearly a century ago by an unholy alliance of Marxists, International Bankers, and Super-Rich Industrialists who fancy themselves Masters of the Universe.

We are witnessing the end of America --- the last, best hope for Man.

Again z, I ask you to differentiate between voter registration fraud and voter fraud. Two different animals.

So far there has been some minor voter registration fraud claim which was caught during review.

We have no evidence of voter fraud, casting ballots illegally.

I would also ask where the right's indignation has been during the voter roll purges that have randomly taken legal voters off the rolls? In fact I think Beamish ran into it personally.

Ducky's here said...

As for postponing the election. That's banana republic stuff. It doesn't reflect well on you that you are serious.

z, who cares about the damn Rosenburgs. It was 60 years ago.

Likewise I Ayers was something much different in the 60's and the fact that Obama met him as part of the Annenburg Challenge board means nothing.

The Annenburg Challenge was found ed by a far right nutjob from the Nixon administration. Does that mean Obama is in league with Republican administrations?

The whole thing is silly and symptomatic of a neocon movement that is desperate, has failed and has nothing constructive to say.

Time to move aside.

Z said...

Ducky, and I ask YOU to remember that without fraudulantly registering it's a little harder to VOTE fraudulantly. What aren't you understanding?

As for postponing an election; does it make YOU feel good to blame us for caring that an American election's going to be this scarred by a liberal group so unsure of its candidate and SO ugly that it would train young adults to cheat for votes?
I'm wondering about hypocrisy here...it's devastating, isn't it? The Left thinks it's like a "banana republic" to want to move an election when what the people who've cheated have done IS created a banana republic?

No, Obama wouldn't have the guts or class to be in league with Republican administrations, you know that.

Annenburg...hmmm I wonder if those people even knew what Ayers' 'schools' were teaching. You sure they did?

My favorite comment from you people was a big Obama supporter who screeched at Ari Fleischer the other night, when he reminded America that Obama's very first political campaign event was in Ayers' home. Her response was "It was JUST A COFFEEE!"

ya. brilliant leftists. Thanks, Ducky. Try again.

William Ayers is a professor of education at the University of Illinois at Chicago, with whom Barack served on the board of an education-reform organization in the mid-1990's. According to the Associated Press, they are not close: "No evidence shows they were "pals" or even close when they worked on community boards years ago ..." (http://www.breitbart.com/article.php?id=D93KD6Q00&show_article=1)

Smear groups and now the McCain campaign are trying to connect Obama to acts Ayers committed 40 years ago - when Barack was just eight years old. Here's what the New York Times reported on the connection (http://www.nytimes.com/2008/10/04/us/politics/04ayers.html)

But the two men do not appear to have been close. Nor has Mr. Obama ever expressed sympathy for the radical views and actions of Mr. Ayers, whom he has called "somebody who engaged in detestable acts 40 years ago, when I was 8."

Barack has publicly denouncedAyers' radical actions from the 1960's (http://blog.washingtonpost.com/fact-checker/2008/02/obamas_weatherman_connection.html):

Senator Obama strongly condemns the violent actions of the Weathermen group, as he does all acts of violence. But he was an eight-year-old child when Ayers and the Weathermen were active, and any attempt to connect Obama with events of almost forty years ago is ridiculous.
