Fred Thompson...Send this around. We have a country to save, folks

This is very, very worth the small investment of time.
Here's the link for you to send to email friends...Especially Obama voters (like I have the nerve to do that and risk the wrath of the FOLLOWERS?)

Fred's sounding awfully Presidential there. I think it's too late to make a difference but it's a great speech, tells it like it is.

You've got to love Fred Thompson when he's at his best. I don't think his heart was in his presidential run. He seemed tired. My daughter interned for him when she was in college and has loved him ever since. Now the idea is to transfer this manifesto to the campaign. Is there time?

Z, thanks for the link. I'll pass it on. Fred's great isn't he?

Too bad he didn't "take" on his campaign trail. Let's hope he "takes" now!

This is an extremely important message for all Americans, even those who plan to vote for John McCain. It discusses our underlying principles, as Americans, handed down to us from one generation to the next. It reminds us that principles do not, must not change if we intend to remain Americans. Policies do change, and should. Policy shift is how we deal with new problems, how we face challenges, and how we grow as a society. And I think it is an equally important message to Democrats and Republicans because we too often allow political office seekers confuse us about our social, economic, and national security priorities. It is an important message because if this nation turns over to Barack Obama and the socialist thugs in Congress our entire government, our country will never be the same again; and the changes adoring crowds clamor for will be much more than anyone ever imagined. It may even be irreversible.

Thank you for putting this up, Z. I will follow suit in a couple of days.

Excellent video.

Unfortunately, many Obama voters are blindly heading to the polls, some just because he is a Democrat and some just because he is an African-American.

What's more frightening (if it's possible) is that there are people who do know about Obama's past (and plans for the future) and are still supporting him. I don't think they would learn anything from this video - they would just label it "fear-mongering" and still go pull the lever for him.

Check that out..Obama's desirous of giving social security, driver's licenses and medicare to illegals now.

Also, Barney Frank suggested that we cut military spending by 25%. Any thinking American had to know that was coming... here's the deal:

"We will cut the military so we can't be the super power those leftists hate us for being; we will take that money to supply illegals with anything they need here because they deserve it (Pelosi); we will pay for medicare for illegals though you need 40 points to qualify as an American; and illegals should be legally driving our tax dollars we're giving them down to Mexico because they have a right to support their families, too"

So I sound HATEFUL? I suppose so. But that's an ol' Alinsky rule, isn't it. Hit them where it hurts, get a reaction, then insult the reaction.

Where's Ducky? I'm waiting.

Triggering my love / hate for Fred Thompson.

Yes. Cameramen just happened to walk in his office, so he turns and puts on a theatrical performance for them.

It doesn't matter if what he said is true, if somewhere out there on a cutting room floor, there's audio of a director yelling "CUT!"
