NPR trying to hide donations from the government? Have you heard this?

We all saw the video which caused the end of Schiller's career at NPR.........but have you heard THIS?

The first minute tells the story but the more you listen, the more you'll be stunned.....or, maybe NOT.
They should be shut down
.

O'Keefe and company have Punk'd NPR in ways Ashton Kutcher never could.

Cue leftist crying that investigative reporters undercover had to lie about who they were to get NPR to have candor about themselves.

NPR already has a huge donor base, and they claim they can get by without federal funding... so...

Free NPR... let them support themselves, and let them drop their public pretensions of not being a left-wing biased outfit.

They could be Air America version 2.0 until they too go under.

You know that I am not stunned.

This kind of subversion has been going on for years -- in all sorts of venues.

beamish;

Powell and "PEACE" seekers were saying that Iran is far away to have the nuclear weapon and USA should negotiate with Ahmadinejad.

The Same group was saying that BUSH is DANGEROUS and he is seeking the war, so Powell was funneling Ahmadinejad for a NON-NUKE peace seeker and BUSH as a WARMONGER.

The best tactic that the Mullahs used to buy the time to achieve their Nuclear BOMB was << PRESENTING BUSH as WARMONGER and Ahmadinejad as PEACE SEEKER>>, and they succeeded, and SOME OF MOST IMPORTANT USA political persons helped the MULLAHS on this way by covoicing the Islamists that << BUSH is a danger for the peace>>.

and you see the result of the MULLAH's Propagand of << BUSH IS THE DANGER >>.

The result is OBAMA.

A tape so jive that even GLENN BECK is crying "bull".

Wow duhkkky read much? The article says even when seen on toto hos remarks aren't justified.

Did you ever 60 Minutes in the 70s?

In toto - darn pint sized keyboard

While it's not too surprising, given what we already know from the first video, after listening to this, I feel like I just crawled out of a mud pit.

We as taxpayers have been forced to contribute to this racket, I think we deserve our money back.

One wonders if the rico laws aren't appropriate. Anonymous donors? This is a govt. supported venture, yet it sounds like an underground, shadowy, protection racket!

Now I suppose this woman may be fired, but soon they'll run out of scapegoats. This is a thread which I think runs through the entire NPR organization.

The answer is simple. They are either funded by only the govt. OR private donations. Not both!

NPR is nothing more than a propaganda mill, and I don't want one thin dime of my money paying for it!

I'm curious duhkkky how many unedited expose's has CBS and 60 Minutes ever made public? Even a veneer of objectivity is better than none.

Z said...

Beamish, that's what I thought. Let them go to Air America....they're failing, but....

AOW, subversion's one thing, where are the people who need to STOP THIS? She's telling the guy they can shield them from the government/IRS, etc., if they donate anonymously. This is tax dollars at work? Or even DONATED MONEY at work?

SAM, you are exactly right. Except Powell was wrong about Iran's distance and safety for us because of it. Read anything by Kenneth Timmerman. THAT is some scary reading.

Ducky! Using Glenn BECK to try to show me wrong? I LOVE IT! :-)
BUt, it's not convincing....still, I'm glad to see you read the BLAZE....I should start.

Z said...

Pris, the expression "Too much smoke for there to be no fire" is pertinent here, you're right.
Unless they hired a voice expert to sound like NPR's woman on this video, the things she said are THINGS SHE SAID and they're illegal.

Tell me, everybody; did this come out on FOX or CNN or anywhere yet? I haven't seen it at all and am hoping it's even been brought to the attention of the Treasury Department. Of course, Geithner will have to stop listening to NPR and start listening to Alan COlmes, I guess, but MAYBE somebody's honest enough at Treasury to actually finally DO something?

Elbro...good point about 60 Minutes.

Hey Ducky, what do you think of Julian Assange? He only released classified info!! Give me a break!

Two can play your game.

Hi Z, the earthquake and tsunami have pretty much dominated the news all day everyday since it happened, which is understandable.

Who knows when they got this info. I do know it's been said since the first video, "there are more to come". Of course you got it, so it's out there.

You're right, where there's smoke, there's fire.

Btw, this audio doesn't seem edited. The long silence during the interruption was left in, and the video is pretty long. We'll know for sure eventually.

Pris

Z said...

Pris, it doesn't sound edited to me, either.

The Dan Rather/Bush situation comes to mind, does it yours?

Anonymous said...

"The Dan Rather/Bush situation comes to mind, does it yours?"

Z, no it hadn't. But, you're right. Rather did lose his job over a trumped up charge against Bush with doctored evidence. I think this is just as serious, or more serious. But, for a different reason.

It's clear NPR protects the identity of some of their donors, and because they receive govt. money, it seems to me it's as crooked.

We're at war with the Jihadists which makes this look like collaborating with the enemy.

After all we are talking about these people believing they're taking money from the Muslim Brotherhood as far as they knew.

elmers brother said...

LOL the irony of duhkkky using Beck.....good catch z. Also do you think one MSM outlet would hold another to account like this writer did of O'Keefe? There's a second bit f irony.

Z said...

Pris, I don't suggest the situations are on an even keel, but they SURE do show BIAS, which is the biggest reason my blog exists....exposing the media, exposing the leftwing's ability to get away with such deception and misinformation...and the amazing SLAM on people like Beck and Bachmann, who are trying SO HARD to get the truth out there.
I'll probably publish the Bachmann amazing video of her interview with David Gregory later today...not sure.

Elbro,..ya, ironic for Ducky to quote Glenn Beck when it comes to something Ducky thinks is right :-)
THAT really made me laugh.
But, heck, maybe he's finally waking up!?

Hey elmo. he stated that the remarks were his personal view. Now I know from z constantly getting the vapors when there is a discouraging word that the right certainly doesn't expect anyone to get away with holding them in low regard.

The tape was a bad edit job and the only thing that took pace here was that someone who is not part of the news organization expressed his opinion on the Tea Party.

I wish NPR would grow a pair and tell Breitbart to take a dixie but they are bigger eunuchs that The Black Bush.

Did you watch Charlie Rose's show on the situation in Wisconsin? Joe Klein and Mike Huckabee, now that's pretty liberal. Darn close to George Soros.

Still NPR would manage without the funding, at least in areas like Boston which supports it. It's pretty radical stuff, Terri Gross was interviewing Jimmie Dale Gilmore the other day. His next disc is going to be traditional string band stuff and I'm looking forward to it. They had a chat about enjoying Gene Autry (me too), real "tear down the walls mofo" stuff.

Frankly, most of the people who rail against NPR never listen. Some hate radio host or Fox pundit tells them it's bad or Andre Breitbart sends one of his "film makers" and that's it.

I think a lot of smaller, rural areas will miss a lot of content if NPR goes. I'll miss driving up Maine on Saturdays and listening to opera on their NPR outlet. But if the right wing is upset ...

Anonymous said...

Ducky, give it rest. You can't even answer a direct question.

You dance around like a ballerina, for God's sake.

"I'll miss driving up Maine on Saturdays and listening to opera on their NPR outlet."

Buy a car with a cd player. Try again Ducky, surely you can do better than that.

Z, I get you, and I agree. It's criminal, what's going on with the media, no question. It's almost beyond bias, it's a mental disorder!

duhkkky nobody needs this video to know that NPR is a liberal shill. W duhkky if personal opinions don't matter why was this guy and his boss let go? And for that matter why was Juan Williams fired?

elmers brother said...

BTW duhkkky I listen to NPR se real times a week, Met opera on Saturdays, Prairie Home Companion and the news. If it's so great it'll survive without taxpayers subsidizing it

elmers brother said...

Can't have it both ways duhkky. Its about 10% of NPRs budget. If they're so hard up I'm sure you wouldn't mind if some of those NPR execs gave part of their million dollar salaries, we'll call it redistribution.

elmers brother said...

I'm also wondering duhkkky what basis you make the assumption that people who rail against NPR don't listen? Did you pull that out of your ass too?

And if they don't listen maybe it shouldn't survive. If my wife's company was subsidized by taxpayers to the tune of 10% wouldn't that be an unfair advantage to the rest of the market?

Ducky...what, Joe Klein the conservative? :-)
And who cares about Huckabee and what he's on; what's your point?
Charlie Rose has a conservative on. MAX, once a month and your point is.....?
And absolutely, I'm REAL tired of misrepresentation of the Right in the media and by the lying Pelosi, Reed, etc. REAL tired.
I don't mind a good fight; DON'T LIE.
They say it, they know they're heard and dopey Americans believe them, and they don't care about the truth.

By the way, I don't care WHAT NPR does, this is a free country. Just don't take money from conservatives and have all liberal programming.
Ducky, when YOU want to pay for Hannity, I'll be happy to pay for NPR, okay?
thanks

Ducky's here said...

Oh, and a CD player wouldn't quite do. You see often that station goes a little off the main road and plays more obscure operas.

Also their commentary is excellent.

I don't have a complete opera library. Just as I depend on NPR to point me towards interesting world music acts. Your individual library can just contain so much.

Z said...

DUcky, you're gone...deleted that last one. I'm sick and tired of your comments like that.

YOu didn't appreciate footage by a Tea Party 'filmmaker' because it's not French enough? REALLY?
No offense, but ....you made NO sense and I save you from embarrassing yourself, too.

I'm tired, you're gone. Next time, try to argue with facts and figures; stop the ridiculous elitism and maybe I"ll keep your comments here.

Z said...

I'll just add this, Ducky;
NPR's antisemitism might suit you and many other leftwingers but the way Schiller talked was beyond belief.....now they're trying to hide funds from the feds (did you LISTEN? why suggest anonymity it there's nothing to HIDE?)
I'll soon be posting an NPR executive who's on tape saying that they won't cover the “birther” thing is because it's conservative, even though 51% of Americans believe he is not born in the US....

That's the curious, leftwing mind, always seeking truth, right?
thanks.

So you're basically too lazy to find the music on your own. LOL!

Duhkkky I suggest a good dose of intellectual curiosity and and a smartphone Pandoras a good place to start

Here's to subsidizing duhkkkys musical slothfulness with taxpayer monies - Cheers!

Ducky's here said...

In one of the e-mails, former NPR CEO Vivian Schiller writes that the group’s donation “would not need to be reported in the public part of the 990 but it would need to be reported to the IRS, including the name of the donating institution” — indicating that NPR wasn’t willing to shield donors from federal scrutiny, as the audiotape suggested.

--------------------------

Interesting but not surprising.

Still wonder how you folks can get excited about a video that is so amateur it reloops three times. My students would fail with that level work.

elmers brother said...

You're right duhkkky its all about the production forget the substance. No wonder you like NPR

Z said...

Elbro, this is the first time I've actually believe Ducky has a cognitive problem....HEAR, SEE....and he doesn't BELIEVE.

Ya, the NPR woman tells the guy all they need to do is be ANONYMOUS when donating and ALL'S WELL! What's the PROBLEM?.. After all, VIVIAN SCHILLER said so!
Of course, she's the one who still has Nina Totenberg employed who said Jesse Helms and his grandkids should die, but THAT"S OKAY! :-)

elmers brother said...

It's a mental illness all right.

Anonymous said...

Ducky, this will come as a real shock to you, but, the audio tape suggested nothing, however the woman on the audiotape did!
Imagine that! Parsing words again Ducky?

And quit trying to impress us with your high falootin' image of yourself. That might work with with your crowd of phonies but it won't work here!

Cut Ducky some slack. He's told you time and again that he's a leftist. It's not like leftists are capable of rational thought to begin with.

elmers brother said...

Apparently NPR heard your cry duhkkky cuz they used the same blaze article to justify Schiller's (sic) remarks this morning. Here all this time we've beentold Glenn Beck is no good. Freakin hilarious.

Z said...

Elbro and Beamish: I was commenting at Opus's just now and it dawned on me what a HUGE thing Ducky would be making on this if it were FOX trying to keep anybody from knowing muslims are supporting it!!
And, imagine the media not showing the union thugs climbing the walls of federal bldgs .... and how the media'd have treated it if those were Tea Partiers?

elmers brother said...

I'm sure duhkky believes the $7.5 million in range to the Wisconsin capitol building would be considered as the means justifying the ends.

you're probably right, Elbro, even if I don't know what you mean by 'in range'?
