Germans are sending these around.......

A friend in Germany just sent these and more photos with captions on them so I asked him if Germany's losing its fervor for Obama; His response was "yes, of course. The enthusiastic behavior is over. All my contacts and business partners have been more than critical. same as I, from the beginning of his presidency."  Something we don't hear too often from any media....

The world is beginning to awaken to the fake in office. Hopefully enough Americans have become disillusioned also.

Z - The top one is the best of the two!

How's traffic in your part of the country?

Gramma, we can only "hope" :-)

I heard Bill Maher tonight on Piers Morgan say that CARTER was the only president he could think of that he admires!

Sue...ya, that top one is good.

You're asking about the 10 mile closure of the 405 freeway (1 mile from my house), which is shutting down an artery on which millions of cars pass through every day.... they're enlarging (the whole job started about a year ago and should take about 2 more years) and also taking down most of an overpass bridge...so the whole thing's closing for two days.
Everyone I know is staying HOME this weekend!
I got a call this evening asking if I'd like to walk with a couple of neighbors up to WIlshire Blvd. tomorrow morning to get some coffee and waffles at the Belgian/Italian chocolatier...."walk?" I'm up for it!
Wish us luck this weekend....Pacific Coast Highway and all the canyon roads should just about be untravelable unless people REALLY MUST get somewhere and are willing to sit in huge, long jams

Z - I have to admit that from here it has been 'funny' to read about the carmageddon.

In reality, I know it has to be a nightmare. I can't even imagine what it must be like for everyone involved.

Especially those who have jobs to get to, what about emergency vehicles, police responding to crimes, and much more.

So please forgive me, Z, if I seem to be joking about something that is not funny at all. ):

Good luck to all of you!

Sue, everybody HERE is joking about it, so no problem. Honestly, they've been doing PSAs for weeks about it, warning people to stay home, etc etc......
I'll come on later and say how it's going!

Zing!

That second picture illustrates what many Americans don't seem to know: Obama hasn't gotten specific enough about cuts. The smoke-and-mirrors administration.

It'a about time. Better late than never, I guess.

My mom and dad never liked the guy.

That because everything in 2008 looked like the election of Mitterrand in 1981 when France wanted "change" after years of post WW2 center to center right policies.

And like with Obama, the French did get change: from 3% unemployment we went to 13% and 10% on a steady basis.

Jimmy Carter is happy. He just moved up from worst to next to worst.

Oh yes, those long gas lines,
21 1/2% interest rates, stagflation, American hostages in Iran for 444 days, yep Bill, those were the good old days, huh?

Good grief, what a dolt he is.

FrogBurger, Bienvenue ici!

Yes, I can see the similarities...

Pris, I thought of the hostages, too. A Republican took over, the Iranians got scared and coughed the hostages over. Typical. Sort of like what's happening now with country after country pushing US around now. It's unbelievable. I think a LOT MORE needs to be made of that. Even some leftwingers don't like other countries pushing us around. Look at Pakistan! WOW.

SF...Carter's too busy slamming Israel to notice, I think.
