Well, Egypt's president-elect, sworn in today, has vowed to win the release of the Egyptian cleric jailed by the U.S. for planning the first attack on New York's World Trade Center (the 1993 bombing). Maybe he thinks the fact that Abdel-Rahman was convicted and is serving a life sentence isn't a roadblock in our country anymore? After all, this is the new America, he's thinking, maybe laws don't stand much anymore? Or will he use brutal force?
With our government now, how far might he get with his plan?
With the guys singing back-up for him in that picture above, maybe he could get a contract with Motown? :-)

He'll get as far as Likud has trying to get Jonathan Pollard released.
They'll parole Johnny Walker 'Red' and Jerry Whitworth first.
Ducky, focus; this doesn't send a good sign. When the West is threatened by terrorists and other suicide bombers from Israel, we'll worry about POllard being released..
Viburnum...probably so. Wait for it. 'a pardon'...GRRRR
We might all be surprised to see what Obama will do. After all, he is not rational.
It's kabuki for the locals.
Stop the pearl clutching.
Z,
I remember watching Glenn Beck and hearing from the left how crazy he was. I always found something to listen to about him. Now he looks like a prophet. It's crazy how things work out isn't it?
Bob, who'd be surprised? You know "if we're nice to THEM, maybe they'll be nice to US!" :-) (sarcasm)
Oh, Ducky, don't make me stop 'clutching my pearls' :-)
Could very well be kabuki but I strongly doubt it.
Law and Order... Beck's almost always been right on, but the left managed to demonize HIM instead of letting more of AMerica hear his message. Scary times...
So what's he going to do, z.
Tunnel him out?
Get Closet Muslim Obama to pardon him?
Bomb the prison?
Really, I'd get a kick out of knowing what he expects to do. Overturn the conviction?
Get George Soros to bribe the Supreme Court?
Utter hysteria.
